No full textThis thesis presents the results of The Importance of Health Care among Voice Students in Music Education Departments, Faculty of Music UiTM Shah Alam, or, as suggested by the title. The main hypothesis behind this study is that voice care can give rise to 3 students ability and performance. This thesis comes out after several findings that show the voice students in Music Education Departments ignoring their voice care and influence their performances in Faculty of Music Shah Alam. The dissertation is divided into five chapters, excluding the General Introduction and the General Conclusion. Each chapter deals with a particular aspect of health can. Chapter 1 presents an overview of voice and the health care that supposed to be understand by voice students. Chapter 2 describes about the literature review that been read by the author for source and guiding to complete this thesis, which is important to be guidelines to accomplish this project Methodology is stated in chapter 3 which are included all the maverials and method that used in this thesis and gathered all the result and findings, Chapter 4 contribute all the result and findings that been released by the author. This chapter shows the result that needed by the author to be calculate and conclude as the final findings. By proceeding in this way, the subsequent analyses in chapter 5 are underpinned, not only empirically by the test results but also by the observations presented in earlier chapters. Chapter 5 conclude all the thesis result and suggestion for recommendation that supposed to be done by other researcher

The Media Activism of Latin America’s Leftist Governments: Does Ideology Matter?
No full textHas Latin America’s left turn mattered in media politics? Does ideology impact governments’ practices and policies regarding media and journalistic institutions? Through an empirical assessment of discourses on the media, of direct-communication practices, and of media regulation policies on the part of the recent leftist governments of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Venezuela, this paper stresses the existence of a specific media activism on the part of leftist governments in Latin America. While showing that the current binary distinctions that stress the existence of two lefts—“populist” and “nonpopulist”—obscure important commonalities and continuities, the author also demonstrates that it is the existence of certain institutional and structural constraints that best accounts for the differ-ences among the various leftist governments in Latin America. In sum, the paper challenges the prevailing neglect of ideology as a relevant factor in explaining developments in gov-ernment–media relationships in the region.media, journalism, Latin America, government, ideology, leftism

No full textThe book cover is one of the most important aspects of the physical book being bought and sold. This book cover is the outermost part of the book and is the first time seen by the public or buyers. It is necessary to have book cover designs and illustrations that are attractive and have high selling value so that buyers are easily attracted. With illustrations, readers can visualize the author's intentions in the writings created. Therefore, in making illustrations, the illustrator needs a good imagination game to convey the content of the story to the audience.
Illustrations must also have knowledge of semiotics. Semiotics itself is a science that studies signs, objects, icons, and others to interpret these signs. This semiotics has several types, namely 1) communication semiotics, and 2) significance semiotics. In this research, the author took one type of semiotics, namely communication semiotics. This communication semiotics also has 2 more categories, namely, 1) verbal communication, and 2) visual communication.
The aim or focus of the activities carried out is the process of creating book cover design illustrations starting from reading the manuscript that goes to the publisher until the book cover is printed. The focus of another activity is explaining the visual semiotic analysis of the illustrations created by the author for the reader to understand the meaning of the illustration and its continuity with the content of the manuscript. The process from making the illustration to the cover design is approved by the script writer for the publication process, namely 1) taking the essence of the story; 2) create illustrations; 3) create a book cover; and the last important step to do is 4) PowerClip the book cover. Meanwhile, for visual semiotic analysis, the results of the illustrations that the author has created have 2 stages of interpretation, namely 1) Denotational meaning, which contains the choice of color and typography; and 2) Connotative meaning, which contains analysis of the illustrations or images that have been created
