No full textItIl saggio affronta il tema della formazione e dell'estensione del principato di Taranto durante la signoria di Filippo, quartogenito del sovrano Carlo II. Attraverso l'analisi della silloge di documenti conservata nel lascito di Andreas Kiesewetter, e pubblicata in questo volume, si riflette sulle trasformazioni della prima fase del dominio feudale, dall'investitura di Filippo a principe di Taranto, avvenuta nel 1294, fino alla spartizione del dominio tra i suoi eredi.EnThe essay addresses the formation and extension of the principality of Taranto during the rule of Philip, fourth son of the ruler Charles II. The present volume contains the results of an analysis of the documents preserved in Andreas Kiesewetter's bequest. These documents are published here for the first time. The analysis reflects on the transformations of the first phase of feudal rule, from Philip's investiture as prince of Taranto in 1294 to the partitioning of the domain among his heirs
