Get PDFMy article aims to problematize the idea of a break between Marx and anthropologism, as proposed by Michael Heinrich in his important text Die Wissenschaft vom Wert. I will deal with Heinrich’s argument that Marx, from 1845 onward, developed a new non-anthropological and non-essentialist conception. Instead, I will tentatively suggest that while Marx’s position is non-essentialist, it remains ‘anthropological’ in a certain sense

Indeed, this monographic issue of Ethics & Politics is dedicated to such a perspective, which brings together contributions from different angles, oriented to offer a thematic prism useful to outline the con-tours not only of a philosophy of technique, but also of a philosophy that starts from the question of technique. In the context of a technological acceleration with rhythms and effects unprece-dented in the history of mankind, in which Artificial Intelligence occupies a position of absolute prominence, the elements of philosophy of technics developed by Stiegler seem to have the merit of showing the necessity of reframe the twentieth-century philosophy to think critically about AI, which in this note is analysed and grafted onto the Stieglerian perspectiv
Nonlocal Schr¨odinger-Poisson systems in RN: the fractional Sobolev limiting case
Get PDFWe study the existence of positive solutions for nonlocal systems in gradient form and set in the whole RN. A quasilinear fractional Schr¨odinger equation, where the leading operator is the N s - fractional Laplacian, is coupled with a higher-order and possibly fractional Poisson equation. For both operators the dimension N ≥ 2 corresponds to the limiting case of the Sobolev embedding, hence we consider nonlinearities with exponential growth. Since standard variational tools cannot be applied due to the sign-changing logarithmic Riesz kernel of the Poisson equation, we employ a variational approximating procedure for an auxiliary Choquard equation, where the Riesz kernel is uniformly approximated by polynomial kernels. Qualitative properties of solutions such as symmetry, regularity and decay are also established. Our results extend and complete the analysis carried out in the planar case in [13]
The Question of Dialectics in Michael Heinrich’s The Science of Value
Get PDFThis essay engages with Michael Heinrich’s The Science of Value (Die Wissenschaft vom Wert) on the occasion of its translation into Italian. Given the breadth of the discussion that has greeted Heinrich’s significant work on Marx, this paper focuses on a specific question arising from Hein-rich’s method and premises: the role of dialectics in Marx’s critique of political economy. On the one hand, The Science of Value rightly highlights how many commentators of Marx’s writings resort to "dialectics" as a way to bypass the need for a more detailed reconstruction of complex and sometimes fragmentary theoretical passages. On the other hand, the nature of dialectics itself remains underdetermined in the book, despite its premises—such as the informative function of the structure of Marx’s exposition—calling for greater attention to this issue

In primo piano i campioni ottenuti dal progetto di perforazione profonda DIVE, che ha raggiunto quasi 1 km di profondità nelle Alpi. È stato possibile anche esaminare delle rocce che forniscono indizi su come gli eventi cosmici abbiano modellato le superfici della Terra e influenzato lʼesistenza degli esseri viventi
