Raba vejice v pisnih besedilih študentov in uporabnost spletnega orodja Vejice 1.0
V prispevku predstavljamo rezultate analize pisnih besedil študentov razrednega pouka in predšolske vzgoje o rabi vejice in rezultate ankete študentov o uporabnosti in zanesljivosti spletnega orodja Vejice 1.0. To bi se moralo redno posodabljati in nadgrajevati, da bi bilo zanesljivejše, natančnejše in s tem uporabnejše. K njegovi uporabnosti lahko prispeva tudi večje ozaveščanje piscev besedil o obstoju in brezplačni, a kritični uporabi tega orodja.This article presents the results of an analysis of written texts by students specializing in primary education and preschool education related to comma use, as well as the results of a survey of students on the usability and reliability of the online tool Vejice 1.0 (Commas 1.0). This tool should be regularly updated and further developed to make it more reliable, more accurate, and thus more useful. Increased awareness among writers of the existence of this tool and its free but critical use may also contribute to its usability
Izzivi normiranja terminologije
Terminologija kot poimenovalni sistem posameznega strokovnega področja je v svojem bistvu vedno tudi normativna, saj usmerja rabo k prednostnemu terminu ali celo nekaterih poimenovanj ne vključuje v svoj nabor, npr. v terminološkem slovarju. Več poimenovanj za isti pojem v strokovnem sporazumevanju pravzaprav ne predstavlja prednosti ali ustvarjalnosti, ki je v splošnem, še zlasti pa umetnostnem jeziku zaželena, ampak ustvarja potencialne nesporazume pri strokovnjakih, še bolj pa pri nestrokovnjakih, ki pojma ne poznajo in želijo nedvoumno potrditev o ustreznem terminu. V času ustaljevanja termina je lahko v rabi več sinonimnih poimenovanj, pri čemer se najpogosteje ustali tisto, ki ustreza več terminološkim načelom, kar bomo pokazali na primeru gasilske terminologije.Terminology is always normative by nature and directs usage toward a preferred term or even excludes certain termsfor example, in a terminological dictionary. In fact, having several terms for the same concept in technical communication is not an advantage, signifying creativity as in common usage, but instead creates potential misunderstandings among experts and even more so among non-experts that are not familiar with the term and want unambiguous confirmation of the correct term. When a term is established, several synonymous terms may be in use, and the one that conforms to several terminological principles is most likely to prevail, as is shown on the basis of firefighting terminology
Slovenska verzološka terminologija
Prispevek izpostavlja izbrane verzološke termine, ki znotraj slovenske verzološke stroke izkazujejo določeno mero neustaljenosti. Na kratko so predstavljeni tudi začetki slovenske verzološke terminologije. Terminološka poimenovanja za temeljne verzološke pojme, začenši z imenom discipline, so osvetljena etimološko, ob čemer so vzporejana z ustreznimi tujejezičnimi poimenovanji. Izpostavljenih je tudi nekaj terminov, ki jih je skoval najuglednejši slovenski verzolog Boris A. Novak. Na podlagi izbranih primerov prispevek poudarja nujnost obstoja ustreznega terminološkega aparata za vitalnost posameznega strokovnega področja.This article presents selected prosodic terms that show a certain degree of inconsistency within Slovenian prosody. The beginnings of Slovenian prosodic terminology are also briefly presented. The terms used for the basic concepts of prosody, starting with the name of the discipline, are also highlighted etymologically and compared with corresponding terms in other languages. A few terms coined by the most eminent Slovenian prosodist, Boris A. Novak, are also presented. Based on selected examples, the article emphasizes the necessity of appropriate terminological vocabulary for the vitality of every specialized field

This doctoral dissertation investigates burst mode laser processing with pulse-on-demand capability to address the persistent trade-off between processing speed and quality in laser material processing. While nanosecond lasers offer high throughput at the cost of thermal damage, ultrashort pulse lasers provide superior precision but insufficient processing speeds for industrial applications. Burst mode operation with ultrashort pulses (femtosecond to picosecond duration) combines the advantages of both regimes through controlled heat accumulation across multiple temporal scales. The approach exploits three distinct timescales: ultrashort pulse duration minimizes direct thermal damage, nanosecond intra-burst pulse spacing enables beneficial thermal effects that enhance ablation efficiency, while microsecond inter-burst timing prevents excessive heat accumulation.
Custom-developed fiber laser systems were employed to access the parameter space spanning pulse duration (from fs to ps to several ns), burst configuration (1-10 pulses per burst), intra-burst repetition rates (20-40 MHz), and inter-burst timing (microsecond to millisecond scales). Pulse-on-demand operation with 5 ns temporal resolution enabled synchronization with high-speed scanning systems across repetition rates from below 1 kHz to 1 MHz.
Experimental investigations on copper and silicon quantified burst processing effects across multiple temporal scales. Ablation efficiency increased up to 10-fold compared to single pulse operation, with the magnitude and mechanism of enhancement dependent on material properties and temporal parameters. For copper, intra-burst spacing of 25 ns produced 200% higher efficiency than 50 ns spacing due to heat accumulation effects enabled by high thermal diffusivity, whereas silicon showed minimal dependency on this parameter due to lower thermal diffusivity. Heat accumulation effects were characterized from nanosecond (intra-burst) through microsecond (inter-burst) timescales to establish dominant ablation mechanisms under different processing conditions.
Experimental results demonstrate that picosecond burst processing achieves ablation efficiencies comparable to nanosecond lasers while maintaining surface quality and heat-affected zone characteristics of ultrashort pulse processing. Pulse-on-demand operation addressed scanner limitations by maintaining constant pulse spacing during acceleration and deceleration, enabling high-speed processing with improved positioning accuracy. A 2.5D processing approach combining pulse-on-demand operation with dynamic repetition rate modulation achieved 6.5-10× processing time decrease for complex surface patterns compared to traditional layer-by-layer processing, validated through fabrication of biomimetic surfaces with features ranging from micrometers to millimeters.
This work characterizes relationships between burst parameters and ablation efficiency for copper and silicon within the investigated parameter space, identifies parameter regimes that balance efficiency and quality, and demonstrates a 2.5D processing technique combining pulse-on-demand operation with dynamic repetition rate modulation. The results indicate potential applicability for PCB processing, thin film structuring and general surface structuring, where both high speed and precision are required.Doktorska disertacija obravnava lasersko procesiranje z vlaki bliskov in delovanja z bliskom na zahtevo z namenom doseganja visoke hitrosti in kakovosti pri laserski obdelavi materialov. Nanosekundni laserji sicer omogočajo visoko pretočnost, vendar povzročajo toplotne poškodbe, medtem ko procesiranje z ultrakratkimi laserskimi bliski zagotavlja visoko natančnost, a je mnogokrat prepočasno za industrijske potrebe. Procesiranje z vlaki ultrakratkih bliskov (fs do ps) združuje prednosti obeh režimov z nadzorovano akumulacijo toplote. Pri procesiranju z vlaki bliskov igrajo vlogo tri različne časovne skale: ultrakratko (fs, ps) trajanje bliska - zmanjšuje neposredne toplotne poškodbe, nanosekundni časi med bliski znotraj vlaka - omogočajo koristne toplotne učinke, ki povečujejo učinkovitost ablacije, mikrosekunde med vlaki bliskov - preprečujejo prekomerno kopičenje toplote.
Interno razviti vlakenski laserski sistemi omogočajo raziskave v širokem parametrskem prostoru: trajanje bliskov od femtosekund do pikosekund in nanosekund, konfiguracija vlakov bliskov od enega do deset bliskov na vlak, frekvence znotraj vlaka bliskov med 20 in 40 MHz ter frekvence med vlaki bliskov od mikrosekunde do milisekunde. Delovanje z bliskom na zahtevo s časovno ločljivostjo 5~ns omogoča sinhronizacijo z visokohitrostnimi skenirnimi sistemi pri ponavljalnih frekvencah od 1 kHz do 1 MHz.
Z eksperimentalnimi raziskavami na bakru in siliciju smo ovrednotili učinke procesiranja z vlaki bliskov na več časovnih skalah. Učinkovitost ablacije se je povečala do desetkrat v primerjavi z obdelavo s posameznimi bliski, pri čemer sta obseg in mehanizem povečanja odvisna od lastnosti materiala in časovnih parametrov. Pri bakru je procesiranje z 40MHz dosegel 200% višjo učinkovitost kot procesiranje pri 20MHz zaradi kopičenja toplote, ki ga omogoča visoka toplotna difuzivnost bakra, medtem ko je silicij pokazal minimalno odvisnost od tega parametra zaradi nižje toplotne difuzivnosti. Učinke kopičenja toplote smo ovrednotili od nanosekundne časovne skale znotraj vlaka do mikrosekunde časovne skale med vlaki, kar je omogočilo določitev prevladujočih ablacijskih mehanizmov pri različnih pogojih procesiranja.
Rezultati kažejo, da pikosekundno procesiranje z vlaki bliskov dosega učinkovitost ablacije primerljivo z nanosekundnimi laserji, ob enem pa ohranja kakovost površine in lastnosti toplotno prizadete cone, značilne za ultrakratke laserske bliske.
Delovanje z bliskom na zahtevo odpravlja omejitve skeniranja z ohranjanjem konstantnega razmika bliskov med pospeševanjem in zaviranjem, kar omogoča visokohitrostno procesiranje z izboljšano natančnostjo pozicioniranja.
Pristop 2,5D procesiranja, ki združuje delovanje z bliskom na zahtevo in dinamično modulacijo ponavljalne frekvence, je v primerjavi s tradicionalnim plastenjem dosegel 6,5 do 10-kratno zmanjšanje časa procesiranja za kompleksne površinske vzorce. Pristop smo potrdili z izdelavo biomimetičnih površin z značilnostmi v razponu od mikrometrov do milimetrov.
Disertacija opredeljuje odnose med parametri vlakov bliskov in učinkovitostjo ablacije za baker in silicij v preučevanem parametrskem prostoru, določa parametrske režime, ki uravnotežijo učinkovitost in kakovost, ter predstavlja novo tehniko 2,5D procesiranja, ki združuje delovanje z bliskom na zahtevo z dinamično modulacijo ponavljalne frekvence. Furosemide, a sulfonamide-based diuretic, may also be of interest as a ligand capable of binding to metal ions. Our studies of zinc(II) coordination chemistry with furosemide in organic solvents resulted in a crystalline precipitate. Initial characterization was challenging because single crystals were of insufficient quality for an unambiguous structural determination. X-ray analysis confirmed a four-coordinate zinc(II) complex with two deprotonated furosemides (fur) bound in a monodentate manner and two simple monodentate ligands. Complementary techniques, i.e., infrared spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, and thermal analysis, revealed their identity as ammonia, generated in situ from acetonitrile hydrolysis. The composition of the product is thus [Zn(fur)(NH)]·(CHCH)O (1). Although our attempt to prepare better-diffracting crystals was unsuccessful, it led to the serendipitous discovery of a new furosemide derivative, labeled 2. The derivative features two structural modifications compared to the parent furosemide, namely, ester and amidine functionalities. Single-crystal analysis of 2 showed the esterification of the carboxyl group with methanol and nucleophilic addition of the sulfonamide NH group to the triple bond of acetonitrile, used as a solvent. These results expand the structural chemistry of furosemide and demonstrate its capacity to undergo unprecedented transformations in zinc(II)-mediated systems
Biosorption potential of Ganoderma lucidum biomass for Cd(II) remediation
Heavy metals release in the environment represents a growing threat to human health and nature, particularly due to industrial activities contributing to soil and water contamination. In this study, Ganoderma lucidum heteropolysaccharides (GLHP) were evaluated as a biosorbent for cadmium removal. The biomass was acquired following the production of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting bodies and consisted of remnants from the fungus and cultivation substrate. Cd(II) and elemental analysis were carried out by atomic adsorption spectrometry (AAS) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS), respectively. The biosorption efficiency was critically evaluated, optimizing physical adsorption parameters for batch, column, and percolation configuration, as well as application in real environmental water. Utilizing a simple pre-rinsing step, completely omitting any chemical pretreatment, the Cd(II) removal efficiency was improved from 41.2% to 78.4% in a batch system and up to 98.4% in a fixed-bed column, making it suitable not only for wastewater treatment but also for drinking water purification. The adsorption kinetics were described by a pseudo-second-order (PSO) model and further analyzed using a revised PSO (rPSO) model, which explicitly accounts for adsorbate and adsorbent concentrations. A global fit to the PSO model demonstrated that the rate constant was independent of the adsorbent concentration, supporting its application as a robust descriptor of the adsorption process. GLHP showed good adsorption performance, following the Sips adsorption isotherm and Thomas model for batch and column setup, respectively, demonstrating the potential as a scalable, low-cost biosorbent for fast and efficient Cd(II) removal from contaminated waters
Characterization of non-metallic inclusions in Pb-Ca-Sn alloys
V magistrski nalogi so bili raziskovani in kategorizirani nekovinski vključki v dveh
svinčevih zlitinah Pb-Ca-Sn, ki se uporabljajo za izdelavo kislinskih vžignih
akumulatorjev. Odlikuje jih dolga življenjska doba, nizka potreba po vzdrževanju in ter
ohranjanje moči v stanju pripravljenosti. Nekovinski vključki, ki se pojavljajo v svinčevih
zlitinah so nezaželeni in negativno vplivajo na potek litja ter mehanske in
elektrokemijske lastnosti zlitin. Nekovinski vključki večinoma nastanejo zaradi stika
taline z atmosfero.
Kemijska analiza zlitin je bila opravljena z optičnim emisijskim spektrometrom na
vzbujanje z iskro. Vzorci so bili pregledani s svetlobnim in elektronskim mikroskopom,
ki omogoča analizo kemijske sestave. Potek strjevanja in taljenja dveh zlitin je bil
opredeljen z diferenčno vrstično kalorimetrijo. Na podlagi kemijske sestave zlitin so bili
opravljeni termodinamični izračuni ravnotežnega in neravnotežnega strjevanja, ki
pomagajo pojasniti tvorbo vključkov.
Rezultati kažejo, da se v zlitinah Pb-Ca-Sn nahajajo večinoma oksidni vključki.
Identificirali smo nekovinske vključke s kemijsko sestavo, ki opredeljuje stehiometrijo
oksidov PbO2, Pb2O3, Al2O3 in CaO. Največ vključkov se nahaja blizu površine vzorca,
ki je imela največ stika z atmosfero. Delež nekovinskih vključkov je mogoče znižati z
uporabo zaščitne atmosfere med taljenjem.The master\u27s thesis analysed and categorized non-metallic inclusions in two lead alloys
Pb-Ca-Sn, which are used for production of lead-acid starter batteries. These batteries
are characterized by long lifespan, low maintenance requirements, and the ability to
maintain power in a ready to use state. Non-metallic inclusions that occur in lead alloys
are undesirable and have a negative impact on the casting process, as well as on
mechanical and electrochemical properties of the alloys. Non-metallic inclusions
mostly occur due to contact between the melt and the atmosphere.
Chemical analysis of the alloys was performed using spark-induced optical emission
spectrometry. Samples were examined using light and electron microscopy, which
allows analysis of chemical composition. The solidification and melting processes of
the two alloys were studied using differential scanning calorimetry. Thermodynamic
calculations of equilibrium and non-equilibrium solidification were defined based on the
chemical composition of the alloys, which help explain the formation of inclusions.
The results show that Pb-Ca-Sn alloys mostly contain oxide inclusions. Non-metallic
inclusions with the chemical composition of PbO2, Pb2O3, Al2O3, and CaO were
identified. Most inclusions are located near the surface of the sample, which had the
most contact with the atmosphere. The proportion of non-metallic inclusions can be
reduced by using a protective atmosphere during melting
Religijske in sekularne epistemologije in fenomenologije miru v Bosni in Hercegovini
In the doctoral dissertation, the religious and secular epistemologies and phenomenologies of
peace are examined in the case study of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Due to the severe lack of
scrutinised examination of peace, this theoretical-empirical research uses an interdisciplinary
approach to address the need for a comprehensive understanding of epistemologies and
phenomenologies of peace. The first part of the dissertation introduces the conceptualtheoretical analysis of the epistemology of peace from a secular and religious perspective. A
four-dimensional conceptual framework is elaborated, which includes the domains of peace
(political, social, legal, ethical, and economic), ontological (static, or peace as a state, and
dynamic, or peace as a process), values (justice, harmony, inclusivity), level (top-down,
bottom-up), which are all constitutive elements of peace. The theories of peace from a secular
perspective: realistic, Marxist, liberal/idealistic, and hybrid, their historical development,
paradigms, main protagonists, influence, application, differences, similarities, advantages and
disadvantages are further elaborated, including their critique. Further, the religious approach to
peace from the Early Christian perspective and later Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Islamic,
Jewish, and Hindu-Vaishnava perspectives are examined. This analysis encompasses historical,
ethical, cultural and doctrinal aspects of peace and depicts differences and similarities of the
peace approach in each religion. It discusses religious approaches to peace and nonviolence in
the first place and its dialectic with conflict and violence. The empirical part combines
qualitative research methods to capture the complexity of phenomenological topics related to
religious-secular comparative perspective and interaction in BiH during pre-war, war, and postwar periods. The findings reveal significant epistemological variation in the secular and
religious conceptualisation of peace and how typical and atypical phenomena of peace are
created under certain circumstances of internal dispositions and external conditions in the
process of peacekeeping, peace-making, and peacebuilding. The interdisciplinary analysis
underlines the need for comprehensive, holistic and multi-layered religious and secular peace
research, recognising the interdependence of epistemological approach and phenomenological
experiences for deepening an understanding of peace.V doktorski disertaciji so religijske in sekularne epistemologije in fenomenologije miru
preučene na študiji primera Bosne in Hercegovine. Zaradi izjemnega pomanjkanja
podrobnejšega preučevanja miru, to teoretično-empirično raziskovanje uporablja
interdisciplinarni pristop za naslavljanje potrebe po celovitem razumevanju epistemologij in
fenomenologij miru. Prvi del disertacije uvaja konceptualno-teoretično analizo epistemologije
miru s sekularne in religijske perspektive. Razvijemo štiridimenzionalni konceptualni okvir, ki
vključuje naslednje konstitutivne elemente miru: domene miru (politične, socialne, pravne,
etične in ekonomske), ontološke (statične, ali mir kot stanje, in dinamične, ali mir kot proces),
vrednote (pravičnost, harmonija, vključenost) in raven (od zgoraj navzdol, od spodaj navzgor).
V nadaljevanju podrobneje razčlenimo teorije miru s sekularne perspektive: realistične,
marksistične, liberalne/idealistične in hibridne teorije, njihov zgodovinski razvoj, paradigme,
glavne protagoniste, njihov vpliv, uporabo, razlike in podobnosti med njimi, njihove prednosti
in slabosti, ter njihovo kritiko. Potem raziščemo religijske pristope k miru, najprej z
zgodnjekrščanske perspektive in kasneje iz katoliške, pravoslavne, protestantske, islamske,
judovske in hindu-vaishnavske perspektive. Analiza obsega zgodovinske, etične, kulturne in
doktrinalne vidike miru ter prikazuje razlike in podobnosti pristopa k miru v vsaki religiji.
Razpravljamo o religijskih pristopih k miru in nenasilju ter o njihovi dialektiki s konfliktom in
nasiljem. Empirični del temelji na kvalitativnih metodah raziskovanja, s katerimi primerjalno
zajamemo kompleksnosti fenomenoloških religijskih in sekularnih perspektiv in interakcij v
BiH v pred, med in v povojnrm obdobju. Ugotovitve razkrivajo pomembne epistemološke
variacije v sekularni in religijski konceptualizaciji miru ter kako so tipični in netipični fenomeni
miru ustvarjeni v določenih okoliščinah notranjih dispozicij in zunanjih pogojev v procesu
ohranjanja miru, vzpostavljanja miru in gradnje miru. Interdisciplinarna analiza poudarja
potrebo po celoviti, holistični in večplastni religijski in sekularni raziskavi miru, prepoznavajoč
medsebojno soodvisnost epistemološkega pristopa in fenomenološkega izkustva za
poglobljeno razumevanje miru
Benchmarking Mg electrolytes with different metal plating/stripping protocols
Over the past two decades, various Mg compounds have been explored in the search for electrolytes with the best electrochemical performance. While notable progress in electrolyte chemistry has been made, the field lacks evaluation protocols for studying electrolytes under closer-to-practical conditions. This work evaluates three generations of Mg electrolytes: organometallic, non-nucleophilic Mg(TFSI)-MgCl, and state-of-the-art Mg alkoxyborate/-aluminate electrolytes. Experiments performed under standard galvanostatic cycling show inferior performance of TFSI-based electrolytes compared to all-phenyl complex and Mg[X(hfip)] (X = Al, B) electrolytes. To accelerate side reactions and Mg passivation, additional cycling protocols are introduced, namely, macroreversibility cycling and cycling with OCV rest periods after Mg plating. The latter demonstrates a decline in Coulombic efficiency in all tested electrolytes during OCV rest periods, pointing toward interphase stability as a critical point. The electrochemical analysis is complemented by SEM, EDX, and XPS characterization of Mg metal deposits. XPS results indicate that a more metallic Mg interphase does not necessarily correlate with improved Mg plating/stripping efficiency, emphasizing the key role of interphase composition. This work highlights the need to move beyond conventional laboratory cycling protocols to assess electrolyte stability under realistic conditions and provides a framework for more comprehensive future electrolyte evaluation
Young male and female leaders’ experiences in youth work
Magistrsko delo se osredotoča na preučevanje izkušenj mladinskih voditeljev in voditeljic, aktivnih v mladinskem delu v različnih kontekstih dela z mladimi. Delo v teoretičnem delu zajema predstavitev mladinskega dela in z njim povezanih temeljnih konceptov, pri čemer so ti definirani s strani ključnih akterjev v slovenskem in mednarodnem prostoru. Vloga mladinskih voditeljev in voditeljic v mladinskem delu je temeljni element socialne kohezije, ki hkrati predstavlja in re(producira) aktivno participacijo mladih v družbi, kar odraža pomemben varovalni dejavnik, ki zagotavlja neposredno aktivno vključevanje mladih v mladinsko delo. Magistrsko delo v empiričnem delu raziskuje izkušnje mladinskih voditeljev na priložnostnem vzorcu šestih aktivnih mladih v vlogi mladinskega voditelja v mladinskem sektorju. Magistrsko delo razišče prednosti udejstvovanja v mladinskem voditeljstvu, identificira ključne izzive vloge, s katerimi se mladinski voditelji soočajo v praksi, ter morebitne samozaznane vplive te vloge na psihosocialni razvoj, karierne priložnosti in odnos do soustvarjanja skupnosti v individualizirani družbi. Skozi kritično lečo je naslovljena tudi problematika radikalnih sprememb v postmoderni družbi, ki zadeva kompleksna vprašanja v mladinskem delu in mladinskem voditeljstvu. V delu je uporabljen kvalitativni raziskovalni pristop s polstrukturiranim intervjujem. Podatki so bili analizirani z metodo kvalitativne analize. Rezultati kažejo, da mladinski voditelji prepoznavajo številne prednosti vloge – priložnosti za aktivno participacijo in prevzemanje odgovornosti, pri čemer opažajo dvig veščin in ključnih kompetenc, omenjajo pa tudi pridobljeno socialno mrežo in prednosti, pridobljene s statusom mladinskega voditelja. Soočajo pa se tudi z različnimi izzivi, ki so povezani predvsem z mejami med osebnim in profesionalnim ter izzivi, povezani z vodenjem mladih. Mladinski voditelji opisujejo pomenljiv vpliv vloge na njihov psihosocialni in karierni razvoj. Mladinsko vodenje v mladinskem delu doživljajo kot temelj gradnje skupnosti, v kateri vidijo smisel solidarne prihodnosti.This master’s thesis explores the experiences of youth leaders active in youth work across various contexts of engaging with young people. The theoretical part outlines the concept of youth work and its key principles, as defined by major actors in both the Slovenian and international arenas. The role of youth leaders in youth work is identified as a central element of social cohesion, representing and (re)producing young people’s active participation in society. This serves as an important protective factor, ensuring their direct involvement in youth work. The empirical part investigates the experiences of six active young individuals serving as youth leaders in the youth sector, selected through a purposive sample. The study examines the advantages of participating in youth leadership, identifies key challenges youth leaders face in practice, and explores the perceived impact of this role on psychosocial development, career opportunities, and the sense of co-creating community in an increasingly individualized society. Through a critical lens, the thesis also addresses the issue of radical changes in postmodern society, which bring forth complex questions related to youth work and youth leadership. A qualitative research approach was applied, using semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed through qualitative content analysis. The findings reveal that youth leaders recognize numerous benefits of their role—opportunities for active participation and assuming responsibility—while also reporting enhanced skills and key competencies, the expansion of their social networks, and advantages linked to their youth leader status. However, they also face challenges, primarily concerning the boundaries between the personal and professional spheres, as well as difficulties related to leading young people. Youth leaders describe the role as having a significant influence on their psychosocial and career development. They perceive youth leadership in youth work as a foundation for building community and envision it as meaningful for a future rooted in solidarity
