Classical graphic techniques in the era of modern artistic graphics
No full textV diplomski nalogi Klasične grafične tehnike v času sodobne umetniške grafike sem se posvetil materialom, tehnikam in končnim umetniškim delom, ki jih je umetnik sposoben ponazoriti preko umetniške grafike.
Pred očmi imam svoje dosedanje umetniško delo, preko katerega spoznavam različne grafične tehnike in obenem spoznavam tudi njihovo vlogo in uporabo skozi zgodovino. Raziskujem, kako uspešno se klasične tehnike spopadajo z izzivi in pričakovanji današnjega časa, pri čemer sem zajel nekaj sodobnih grafičnih umetnikov kot tudi starejših grafičnih mojstrov in jih primerjal s svojimi deli, ki sem jih napravil v grafični delavnici na akademiji.
Prepletanje materialov, barv, linij in form me spominja na stvari iz narave, ki jih kasneje preko notranjih občutkov izrazimo v umetniškega dela.
Celota diplomske naloge je sestavljena iz dveh glavnih delov. Prvi del opisuje tehnične lastnosti in navaja spremembe grafičnih procesov skozi čas, drugi del pa se naslanja predvsem na moja dela, katera preko primerjav poskušam razložiti in pokazati študijski napredek.In my diploma thesis Classical Graphic Techniques in the Age of Modern Artistic Graphics, I focused on the materials, techniques and finished works of art that the artist is able to illustrate through artistic graphics.
In front of my eyes I have my previous artwork, through which I learn about various graphic techniques and at the same time learn about their role and use throughout history. I am researching how well classical techniques cope with the challenges and expectations of today\u27s times, taking in some contemporary graphic artists as well as older graphic masters and comparing them to my own works that I made in the graphic workshop at the academy.
The interweaving of materials, colors, lines and forms reminds me of things from nature, which are later expressed in works of art through inner feelings.
The entire diploma thesis consists of two main parts. The first part describes the technical features and indicates the changes in graphic processes over time, while the second part is mainly based on my works, which I try to explain and show the study progress through comparisons
An overview of the repertoire of the Estates Theatre in Ljubljana from the 1833/34 to 1839/40 seasons
No full textThe article presents the most complete reconstruction to date of the repertoire of the Ljubljana Estates Theatre in the 1830s – in particular, in the years discussed in Franz Franz’s letters. Because the German-language stage of what was then the only theatre house in the town hosted both opera and theatre performances, an overview of its program offers fresh insight into the Biedermeier-style cultural atmosphere in the capital of Carniola, demonstrating that the diverse repertoire of the Estates Theatre in no way lagged behind similar institutions across the Habsburg Monarchy. Franz’s letters contain information on the theatre performances staged in Ljubljana from 1833 onward, providing a basic framework for the reconstruction of the theatre program. However, due to the incompleteness of the information, they need to be supplemented with other sources. First and foremost, these are theatre journals (Germ. Theaterjournale) as one of the most reliable sources on stage performances at the Estates Theatre. For the period under study – that is, the 1833/34 to 1839/40 seasons – seven theatre journals have been preserved, which divide the seasons into two parts: autumn (from September to the end of December) and winter or spring (from New Year’s Day to Easter). Another important source for the reconstruction of the theatre program is the preserved playbills or theatre programs (Theaterzettel) that were printed before each performance and posted across the city to inform theatregoers about what show was due to be staged that evening. The collection of playbills (the Comedien-Zettel-Sammlung), which is held by the National Museum of Slovenia, only contains material until the end of April 1837. To reconstruct the last theatre seasons that Franz reported on in his letters to Baron Josef Kalasanz von Erberg, it was further necessary to draw from a third source – the collection of the Higher Theatre Direction, held in the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia in Ljubljana. Here, the reconstruction of the repertoire was mainly based on the records of the Estates Theatre’s revenues that the impresarios recorded more or less systematically for individual seasons. For each work staged, they indicated the date of performance, title, genre, and revenue generatedunfortunately, they only exceptionally recorded the authors of the works staged.The reconstruction of the Estate Theatre’s program for the seven seasons allows a better overview of the descriptions provided by Franz and, despite certain questions that remain unresolved due to the nature of the sources available, offers a starting point for further studies in theatre, music, German culture, cultural history, translation, and other areas. The article not only sets Ljubljana’s theatre side by side with those in Vienna and other major cities across the monarchy, but it also places it in the cultural and historical context of the Biedermeier period and offers a solid basis for future comparative research
The figure of the teacher and the figure of the coach in team sports
No full textV magistrski nalogi so obravnavane sposobnosti, osebnostne lastnosti in poklicne kompetence učiteljev in trenerjev ekipnih športov, ki delajo na različnih vzgojno-izobraževalnih instituacijah in trenerskih položajih. Izhajali smo iz prepričanja, da je učinkovito pedagoško delo odraz celotnega prepleta strokovnega znanja, osebnostnih lastnosti, komunikacijskih, organizacijskih in drugih sposobnosti. Naš cilj je bil ugotoviti, kako učitelji in trenerji ekipnih športov doživljajo in razumejo svoj poklic in katere sposobnosti vrednotijo kot ključne.
V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili oba lika posamično, kjer smo pri vsakem izpostavili pomen njegove strokovnosti, pedagoških pristopov, poklicnih kompetenc in osebnostne strukture. Predstavimo tudi odgovornosti, ki so prisotne v vsakdanjiku učiteljskega in trenerskega poklica, ter vidike pozitivnega odnosa, avtoritete in vodstvenih načinov, ki motivirajo učence in športnike pri delu.
V kvalitativni raziskavi smo preučevali, katere so sposobnosti in kompetence učiteljev in trenerjev ekipnih športov, ki so ključne za dosego učinkovitega pedagoškega dela in vodenja skupin učencev oziroma športnikov. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih deset udeležencev iz pedagoškega in športnega okolja. S pomočjo polstrukturiranih intervjujev smo prišli do ugotovitev, da je za učinkovito delo z mladostniki ključen preplet strokovnega znanja, organizacijskih in komunikacijskih sposobnosti, artikuliranost, izkušenj, avtentičnosti, sposobnosti prilagajanja, razumevanja in osebnostnih lastnosti, kot so vztrajnost, empatija, čustvena stabilnost, doslednost, sočutje in smisel za humor. Vsi udeleženci so bili mnenja, da je učinkovita komunikacija ključni element pedagoškega in trenerskega dela.
S svojim delom poudarjajo nujo po stalnem strokovnem izpopolnjevanju in učenju, hkrati pa izpostavljajo harmonijo, podporo in odnose, ki odpirajo poti do učinkovitega in smiselnega dela z ljudmi.The master thesis discusses the abilitites, personality traits and professional competencies of teachers and coaches of team sports who work in various educational institutions and coaching positions. We started from the belief that effective pedagogical work is a reflection of the entire intertwining of professional knowledge, personality traits, communication, organizational and other abilities. Our goal was to determine how teachers and coaches of team sports experience and understand their profession and which abilities they value as key.
In the theoretical part, we presented both characters individually, where we highlighted the importance of their professionalism, pedagogical approaches, professional competencies and personality structure for each. We also present the responsibilities that are part of the everyday life of the teaching and coaching profession, as well as aspects of positive attitude, authority and leadership styles that motivate students and athletes to work.
In the qualitative research, we studied the abilities and competencies of teachers and coaches of team sports that are key to achieving effective pedagogical work and leading groups of students or athletes. The research involved ten participants from the pedagogical and sports environment. Through the use of semi-structured interviews, we came to the conclusion that the key to effective work with adolescents is a combination of professional knowledge, organizational and communication skills, articulateness, experience, authenticity, ability to adapt, understanding and personal qualities such as perseverance, empathy, emotional stability, consistency, compassion, sense of humor. All participants believed that effective communication is a key element of pedagogical and coaching work.

Trust in, isolation out
No full textIn dynamic, frequently digitally mediated workplaces, employees often experience isolation, which can deplete energy at work. Building individual trust is crucial for addressing these challenges. This study introduces collective mindfulness—the workforce’s shared mindfulness perception—as a key factor. Applying social exchange theory (SET) and the attention-based view, we examine how individual trust and collective mindfulness interact to shape perceived isolation and employees’ feelings of energy at work. Our analysis of 3,644 employees across 92 German organizations shows that high collective mindfulness has contrasting effects: combined with low trust, it increases isolation, while combined with low isolation, it enhances employees’ feelings of energy at work. The strongest isolation occurs under low trust, and the strongest energy at work under low isolation. These findings highlight the complex role of collective mindfulness in shaping individual energy at work and offer valuable insights for researchers and practitioners interested in organizational dynamics and employee experiences
