Optimization of cryptocurrency portfolio allocation using multi-criteria decision making
Magistrsko delo obravnava problem optimizacije porazdelitve sredstev v portfelju kriptovalut z uporabo večkriterijskega odločanja. This thesis addresses the problem of optimizing asset allocation in a cryptocurrency portfolio using multi-criteria decision making methods. Due to high volatility, non-stationarity and heterogeneous characteristics of cryptocurrencies, classical portfolio approaches based solely on return and risk often fail to capture all relevant aspects of asset evaluation. Therefore, the AHP, TOPSIS and PROMETHEE~II methods are applied, where AHP is used to determine criteria weights, while the multi-criteria methods are used to rank alternatives and construct cryptocurrency portfolios by simultaneously considering both financial and market-related criteria. The empirical analysis shows that the results of multi-criteria evaluation are sensitive to changes in preferences, market conditions and the selected set of criteria while at the same time providing a more transparent and interpretable framework for cryptocurrency ranking compared to the traditional models such as mean-variance model
Detektivka v sodobni slovenski in španski književnosti
(Španija) in 80. letih (Slovenija). Zanimali nas bodo vzroki za specifično asimilacijo žanra v obeh literaturah in njegov ponovni razcvet v kontekstu (postmodernistične) svetovne literature.A comparison of two literatures as different and with as few mutual influences as Slovene and Spanish literatures, was in the not so distant past looked upon with a great deal of methodological skepticism (e.g., A. Ocvirk). A survey of the presence of the detective genre in the contemporary Slovene and Spanish literatures nevertheless shows some interesting similarities concerning the appearance of the genre (in neither of them the genre was autochthonous), transplanting it on the local literary scene (translations, critical distance towards the genre in both cases), and particularly the decline and reappearance of the genre in the 1970s (Spain) and 1980s (Slovenia). The author is interested in the motives for the specific assimilation of the genre in both literatures and its renewed flourishing in the context of (postmodernist) world literature
Robotic system with machine vision for manipulation of aluminium products
Osrednji del naloge predstavlja tehnična integracija dveh industrijskih robotov Yaskawa GP7 in GP12 z napredno kamero in programirljivim logičnim krmilnikom (PLK).
The integration of robotics into modern industrial processes has become essential for ensuring competitiveness, as it brings key advantages such as reduced production costs, increased productivity, consistent quality assurance, and significantly improved workplace safety. This thesis discusses the design, programming, and implementation of the robotic cell ROM-42, intended for the automated manipulation of aluminum castings.
The core of the thesis presents the technical integration of two Yaskawa industrial robots GP7 and GP12 with an advanced camera and a programmable logic controller (PLC). The process begins at the input conveyor, where a Keyence VS-L500MX camera determines the position and orientation of randomly oriented parts. This is followed by picking with the first robot, the Yaskawa GP7, which, after verifying the presence of geometric features using sensors on the gripper, transfers the part to the second robot, the Yaskawa GP12, via an intermediate buffer table. The Yaskawa GP12 robot then loads the part into a measuring machine and, upon completion of the measurement, places the product onto the output conveyor. The entire synchronization, safety functions, and communication between subsystems are coordinated by an ET200SP series programmable logic controller.
The thesis provides a detailed presentation of the hardware components, with an emphasis on selecting appropriate motion types (MOVJ, MOVL, MOVC) and configuring the machine vision system. Special attention is given to camera calibration, the determination of intrinsic and extrinsic parameters, and the programming logic required to convert coordinates obtained from the camera into the robot coordinate system.
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a modular robotic cell with integrated machine vision that, in conjunction with the controller and Yaskawa robots, enables the continuous, repeatable, and safe manipulation of aluminum castings
tanko Škerlj: Student in Vienna and Paris, and visionary lecturer
V prispevku je podan biografski in strokovno-znanstveni profil Stanka Škerlja (1893–1975), ene osrednjih osebnosti slovenske romanistike 20. stoletja. The present article offers a biographical and an academic profile of Stanko Škerlj (1893–1975), who was a central figure in the field of Romance Studies in 20th century Slovenia and, along with Fran Šturm (1881–1944), established the study of Romance languages and literatures at the University of Ljubljana. Particular attention is given to his intellectual formation above all at the University of Vienna, where he was a student between 1911 and 1916, and then to his time at the École des hautes études in Paris in the early 1920s, where he completed another dissertation and obtained a further de-gree. Then his activity as a lecturer at the University of Belgrade is briefly discussed as well as later career, after the Second World War, at the University of Ljubljana. Finally, the paper focuses on some of his publications that highlight his three main academic interests: the study of language, the study of literature, and the development of the discipline of Romance Studies in Slovenia. In the area of linguistic research, Škerlj was primarily a syntactician. He concep-tualised a type of syntactic change, stereotypization, where syntactic constructions change their function, whether through extension or in other ways, without undergo-ing any formal change. In the area of literature, the paper discusses his contribution to translation criticism published in response to an anthology of Slovene poetry in Italian translation. In conclusion, the article highlights Škerlj\u27s wide-ranging approach to Romance Studies in Slovenia, which shows him to be an open, broad-minded and modern academic. His views on the proper scope and goals of Romance Studies (in Slovenia) as well as on the relationship between academia and the outside world con-tinue to be valid today
