No full textThe relationship between theory and practice in academic film studies depicts a state of segregation and distancing which turns out to be, at the same time, cause and effect of a deep crisis of understanding between academics and film makers. Nevertheless, this crisis cannot be faced, in the first place, from the assumption of that intellectual dichotomy between them and we ―wherever this otherness may be located in the approach—, neither from the observation of any radical conflict between both professional cinematographic environments, since that conflict, at least in an explicit manner, doesn´t exist. What kind of epistemic or didactic perspectives bring this situation to the film and cinematographic studies? How can cinema be taught under these circumstances? In this article, we analyze this controversial situation and we stress the necessity of breaking that dichotomy to relocate the focus of attention onto the necessary and existing conditions to explain and to be able to transcend, under an epistemic and substantially didactic perspective, that apparent distance between two sides of the same coin we call cinema.La relación entre teoría y práctica en los estudios académicos cinematográficos sufre un estado de segregación y distanciamiento que es causa y efecto de una profunda crisis de entendimiento entre académicos y cineastas. Sin embargo, esta crisis no puede afrontarse, en primer lugar, desde la asunción de esa dicotomía intelectual entre el ellos y el nosotros ―desde dondequiera que se sitúe la otredad en el enfoque―, ni tampoco desde la observación de ningún conflicto radical entre ambos mundos profesionales del cine, ya que ese conflicto, al menos de forma manifiesta, no existe. ¿Qué perspectivas didáctica y epistémica genera esta situación de cara a los estudios fílmicos y cinematográficos? ¿Cómo se puede enseñar cine en estas circunstancias? En el presente artículo se analiza esta controvertida situación y se acentúa la necesidad de romper esta dicotomía para resituar el foco de atención en las condiciones necesarias y existentes para explicar y poder trascender, desde una perspectiva epistémica y sustancialmente didáctica, esa aparente distancia entre dos caras de una misma moneda que llamamos cine

This dimension clearly contributes to the game’s success or failure, therefore creators consider it very carefully during the previous design of the experience.Comparing these communities among those from the educative environment we find correspondences between the social structures of both systems, which favor extrapolation and application of research results on video games to University’s lecture rooms.This adaptation is outlined on a comprehensive action plan to strengthen students’ performance and learning. These actions originate in the methods developed in previous research with the purpose of fostering stability and integration of the users in video game communities.Los géneros de videojuegos basados en dinámicas multijugador están sostenidos por la dimensión social inherente a estas. Esta dimensión contribuye de manera evidente en su éxito o fracaso y por tanto los creadores la consideran atentamente durante el diseño previo de la experiencia.Comparando estas comunidades con las que se dan en el ámbito educativo encontramos paralelismos en las estructuras sociales de ambos sistemas, lo que propicia la extrapolación y aplicación de los resultados de investigación sobre videojuegos a las aulas universitarias.Esta adaptación se plantea a través de un plan integral de acciones para potenciar el rendimiento y el aprendizaje del alumnado. Get PDFWeb platforms are one of the most effective instruments for the socialization of scientific knowledge. The study of the presence and production of scientific communities on web has few references in the national Cuban context. The Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas (Cuba) has few investigations whose purpose is the measurement of scientific activity on web, through the presence of researchers on web platforms. In the current investigation, the objectives were: 1) to determine the metric indicators that allow a characterization of the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas researchers presence on web and 2) to describe the presence of the scientific community of the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas on web. The current research is classifies as descriptive and cuantitative. The used research methods were theoretical and empirical, fundamentally the bibliometric method. Metric indicators were used to obtain results on the presence of researchers from the institution on web. ResearchGate, LinkedIn, Mendeley, Dspace@UCLV and ORCID were the platforms analyzed for the development of database. Dspace@UCLV is identified as the most used site by the researchers of the institution and LinkedIn as the most used social network. The faculty with the greatest presence on web is Mathematics, Physics and Computing, the authors were identified with greater productivity and impact.Las plataformas web son uno de los instrumentos más efectivos para la socialización del conocimiento científico. El estudio de la presencia y producción de las comunidades científicas en la web tiene escasos referentes en el contexto nacional cubano. En la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas (Cuba) existen pocas investigaciones cuyo objeto sea la medición de la actividad científica en la web a partir de la presencia de los investigadores en plataformas. En la presente investigación se plantearon como objetivos: 1) determinar los indicadores métricos que permitan caracterizar la presencia de los investigadores de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas en la web y 2) describir la presencia de la comunidad científica de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas en la web. La investigación realizada clasifica como descriptiva de tipo cuantitativo dominante. Para la investigación se utilizaron métodos en los niveles teórico y empírico, fundamentalmente el método bibliométrico. Se emplearon indicadores métricos para la obtención de resultados sobre la presencia de los investigadores de la institución en la web. Se analizaron las plataformas ResearchGate, LinkedIn, Mendeley, Dspace@UCLV y ORCID para la elaboración de bases de datos. Se identifica el Dspace@UCLV como el sitio más empleado por los investigadores de la institución y LinkedIn como la red social más empleada. La facultad con mayor presencia en la web es Matemática, Física y Computación; en la misma se localizan los autores con mayor productividad e impacto

The profile of the entrepreneur. Cultural construction of post-Fordist labor subjectivity
Get PDFEl auge del emprendimiento en las últimas décadas es una constante en numerosos ámbitos económicos, políticos y socio-culturales. Aquel tiende a presentarse bajo la impronta de un modelo empresarial exitoso y con voluntad expansiva, pero es ineludible considerarlo a su vez en sus aspiraciones a modelo normativo para la actual subjetividad laboral. El objetivo de nuestro estudio es determinar los rasgos distintivos básicos del emprendedor. Para ello hemos analizado el discurso de la literatura de autoayuda orientada a la conformación de “subjetividades emprendedoras”. Dicha literatura se nos presenta hoy como espacio privilegiado de producción de personalidades auto-dirigidas en un ámbito cultural contemporáneo por lo demás profundamente psicologizado. Constatamos finalmente siete rasgos distintivos del emprendedor, los cuales nos remiten a un perfil esperable de éxito económico pero, a su vez, a un modelo que invisibiliza y despolitiza la gran precarización de las condiciones laborales en la nueva realidad postfordista.The rise of entrepreneurship in recent decades is a constant in many economic, political and socio-cultural areas. It tends to present itself as a successful business model, but we want to reveal its imposing aspirations as an undeniable normative reference for the current models of labor subjectivity. The objective of our study is to determine the basic normative traits of the entrepreneur. In order to do this we have analyzed the discourse of self-help literature oriented to the formation of “entrepreneurial subjectivities”. Today, this literature is a privileged space for the production of self-directed personalities in a deeply psychologized contemporary cultural environment. We finally detected seven distinctive features of the entrepreneur, which refer us to an expected model of economic success, but also, to a model that depoliticizes and makes invisible the great precarious working conditions in the new post-Fordist reality

Get PDFEl artículo estudia la figura del intraemprendedor en el marco actual de ascenso de los discursos emprendedores en el trabajo. En estos discursos, el intraemprendedor surge como nuevo arquetipo del trabajador asalariado, caracterizado por la implicación y la capacidad de innovación, y se presenta como tipo ideal en el cual ha de proyectarse cualquier empleado. El intraemprendedor es un dispositivo de activación para los asalariados. Los objetivos del artículo consisten en explorar cómo se construye el intraemprendedor desde la literatura empresarial. Para cubrir este objetivo se analizan noticias de prensa, artículos en revistas mensuales de gestión y en revistas académicas del área de economía y empresa. Un segundo objetivo busca enclavar la figura del intraemprendedor en el contexto de cambios en la organización del trabajo durante el posfordismo. Se realizará para ello un análisis crítico de algunos de los principales autores que han abordado la cuestión desde la sociología económica.This article studies the figure of the intrapreneur in the current framework of the rise of entrepreneurial discourses at work. This figure identifies the salaried worker with entrepreneurial behaviours within his or her company and can even create an ex novo one if the intra-enterprise programs of their company allow it. In the current discourses on business innovation, the intraentrepreneur emerges as a new archetype of the salaried worker, characterized by his or her involvement and the ability to innovate, and presents himself or herself as the ideal type in which any employee should project himself or herself. The intra-entrepreneur is an activation device for employees. The objectives of this article are to explore how the intrapreneur is built on the basis of business literature. To cover this objective, press releases, articles in monthly management magazines and academic journals in the area of economics and business will be analysed. A second objective seeks to place the figure of the intraentrepreneur in the context of changes in the organization of work during the post-Fordism. To this end, a critical analysis will be made of some of the main authors who have approached the issue from the point of view of economic sociology
El impacto de la economía 4.0 sobre las condiciones de trabajo y empleo. Estudio de caso en dos empresas de base tecnológica
Get PDFThis paper aims to analyse, from a practical perspective, the changes on working conditions which are now taking place in the companies that are living closely the era of digitalization. In order to achieve this objective, it uses a methodological approach which integrates interdisciplinary analysis, both legal and sociological, and the so-called “case study”. The main results highlight the success of educational system in providing basics skills, whereas public vocational training programs seems to be not so useful; the extremely flexible use of working time, which has clear negative effects on reconciliation; the extraordinarily high job rotation; and the lack of real effectiveness of some classical institutions, such as the indefinite contract or employees’ representation.Este artículo analiza, desde una perspectiva práctica, los cambios en las condiciones de trabajo que están teniendo lugar en las empresas que más de cerca están viviendo la era de la digitalización. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se empleará un enfoque metodológico que integra el análisis interdisciplinar, tanto jurídico como sociológico, con el estudio de caso. Los principales resultados destacan el éxito del sistema educativo para proporcionar la formación básica que este sector necesita y el correlativo fracaso del sistema de formación para el empleo; el uso extremadamente flexible del tiempo de trabajo, lo que tiene claras repercusiones en materia de conciliación; la altísima rotación laboral; y la ausencia de eficacia práctica de ciertas instituciones clásicas, como el contrato indefinido o la representación legal de los trabajadores

UGC (User Generated Content) images are already an audiovisual source in the editorial newsrooms of the television networks, becoming the opening images of the news bulletin. Due to UGC images have specific characteristics they have to be subjected to a verification process before using them. The management of this type of images supposes a challenge for audiovisual archives and documentalists must know the verification procedures, as well as the ethical and legal implications linked to the CGU images to determine and value their incorporation into the audiovisual archive.El periodismo ciudadano ha llegado para quedarse. Las imágenes CGU (Contenido generado por el usuario) son ya una fuente audiovisual más en las redacciones de los informativos de las cadenas de televisión, convirtiéndose a menudo en las imágenes de apertura de los informativos. Se trata de materiales con unas características específicas que las obligan a ser sometidas a un proceso de verificación previo a su uso. La gestión de este tipo de imágenes suponen un reto para los archivos audiovisuales y los documentalistas que deben conocer los procedimientos de verificación, así como las implicaciones éticas y legales ligados a las imágenes CGU para determinar y valorar su incorporación al fondo del archivo audiovisual

No full textAn analysis was carried out of the ecosystem of digital television in order to discover the transformation in the selection, documentary analysis, search, access, preservation etc... in relation to TV news programmes. The conclusion is that the new paradigm is providing considerable advantages in all these areas, is changing the traditional models of the analogical context and granting an ever more active role to the end user, the journalist. But, although they may share certain knowledge with the user, the documentalists will continue to be the experts in the organisation of areas which are increasingly more complex and technological.Se analiza el ecosistema de la televisión digital para conocer, en relación al material de los telenoticias, la transformación producida en la selección, análisis documental, búsqueda, acceso, preservación, etc. Se concluye que el nuevo paradigma aporta grandes ventajas en todas esas áreas, está cambiando los modelos tradicionales propios del contexto analógico y confiere un papel cada vez más activo al usuario final, el periodista.
