    We all are familiar with memory which are being used in mobile, laptop, computer where data (such as photos, songs, videos) are stored. This memory can be non-magnetic and magnetic, but the magnetic memory has more advantageous than non-magnetic type such as energy efficient, higher data dense and higher endurance. The basic principle of this magnetic memory is the GMR and TMR. In our thesis work our aim was to develop the GMR and TMR device using a novel material Fe2CoSi. Besides, such type of devices is also being used as a magnetic sensor applications.</p

    This research developed a framework for the proactive implementation of low carbon outcomes beyond minimum standards in large development projects. The framework comprises the following components: motivating construction organisations, local governments' influential power, and a corresponding suite of strategies aligned with the first two components. This framework will be useful in practice towards guiding the transformation towards low carbon outcomes beyond minimum standards as a new benchmark standard in the built environment. This framework could find utility across many other countries too and thus if implemented, will contribute towards a substantive drop in emissions in the built environment in the future

The proposed framework provides individuals with a mechanism to share or monetize their data without compromising privacy, serving both public and individual benefit. Additionally, by integrating incentive mechanisms, our approach motivates the sharing of high-quality data while enhancing individual control over the data, thereby promoting cross-sector collaboration and facilitating data-driven decision-making in crucial sectors like healthcare and finance. We identified gaps in existing privacy-preserved technologies and developed solutions, aiming to build a foundation for future trustworthy data sharing innovations

    The Repetitions of Fast Radio Bursts

    Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are brief, bright flashes of radio emission originating from sources billions of light-years away. While some FRB sources have been observed to emit multiple bursts, the question remains: Do all FRBs repeat? This thesis investigates the repeating nature and spectro-polarimetric properties of a population of FRB sources to understand the emission mechanism causing them. The study utilizes some of the world's most sensitive radio telescopes and employs a novel search technique to process the wideband data. The findings point towards a dynamic and highly magnetized environment that surrounds at least some repeating FRB sources

    Exploring Precision Timing of Millisecond Pulsars with Wide-Bandwidth Observations

    This thesis studies the masses, velocities, and interstellar medium effects of rapidly spinning neutron stars called millisecond pulsars. The masses of seven pulsars and their binary companions are measured. A large sample of millisecond pulsar velocities were measured and their distributions in the galaxy were analysed. The random variations in the electron density towards these millisecond pulsars were analysed for their consistency between measurement methods between observations conducted at two telescopes. The thesis also presents RFIHunter for excising interference from radio pulsar observations. These studies enhance our understanding of fundamental physics of pulsars and the Milky Way kinematics, and will benefit astronomers

    An Investigation of Factors Affecting Australian Small and Medium Enterprise Performance

    This quantitative/empirical study explored the connection between ambidextrous leadership, entrepreneurial orientation (EO), organisational innovation, and firm performance in Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) focused on sustainability. The research examined these variables in SMEs with 5 to 199 employees and over five years of operation across various private sectors. Data from 344 owners and managers were collected through questionnaires. The findings indicate that organisational innovation contributes to SMEs' improved performance and long-term sustainability. Additionally, EO influences organisational innovation, indirectly impacting firm performance through its mediating role. However, ambidextrous leadership did not directly affect EO or organisational innovation through the mediation of EO

    Projects, Situations, Places: a Phenomenological Analysis of the Immersive Sim

    This paper explores the immersive sim from a phenomenological perspective, focusing on five structures of existence. Phenomenologically, immersive sim players are engaged in future-oriented projects, developing their avatar’s skill following a path mediated by their own desire and preferred playstyle on the one hand, and the environment they encounter on the other hand. Such projectuality is defining of the immersive sim only when considered alongside the players’ embodied interaction within concrete situations to which they respond by making use of tools possessing a certain equipmentality. These situations take place within strongly atmospheric gameworlds experienced as places. Dieser Beitrag untersucht die Immersive Sim aus einer phänomenologischen Perspektive und konzentriert sich dabei auf fünf Strukturen der Existenz (structures of existence). Phänomenologisch gesehen sind Immersive-Sim-Spielende in zukunftsorientierte Projekte involviert und entwickeln die Fähigkeiten ihres Avatars einerseits durch ihre eigenen Wünsche und ihren bevorzugten Spielstil und andererseits durch die Umgebung, der sie begegnen. Diese Projekthaftigkeit (projectuality) kann nur dann als Bestimmungsmerkmal der Immersive Sim eingestuft werden, wenn sie zusammen mit der verkörperten (embodied) Interaktion der Spieler in konkreten Situationen betrachtet wird. Reagiert wird auf diese Situationen mit dem Einsatz von Werkzeugen, die eine gewisse Ausstattungsqualität (equipmentality) besitzen. Diese Situationen finden in stark atmosphärisch geprägten Spielwelten statt, die als Orte erlebt werden

    TopicTracker: A platform for topic trajectory identification and visualisation

    Topic trajectory information provides crucial insight into the dynamics of topics and their evolutionary relationships over a given time. Also, this information can improve our understanding on how new topics have emerged or formed through a sequential or interrelated events of emergence, modification and integration of prior topics. Nevertheless, the implementation of the existing methods for topic trajectory identification is rarely available as usable software. In this paper, we present TopicTracker, a platform for topic trajectory identification and visualisation. The key of TopicTracker is that it can represent the three facets of information together, given two kinds of input: a time-stamped topic profile consisting of the set of the underlying topics over time, and the evolution strength matrix among them: evolutionary pathways of dynamic topics, evolution states of the topics, and topic importance. TopicTracker is a publicly available software implemented using the R software
