A study investigates how blockchain technology adoption can benefit Bangladesh's banking industry. Despite global interest, its widespread implementation faces hurdles like technical challenges and low awareness. By examining factors like technology, organization, and trust, the research aims to shed light on adoption barriers. Using data from 384 banking officials in major cities, the study reveals significant influences of technology, environment, organization, and trust on blockchain adoption. These findings offer valuable insights for policymakers and decision-makers, aiding in crafting effective strategies. As a developing nation, Bangladesh can harness this knowledge to navigate technological advancements in its banking sector.</p

Digital Twin: An emerging tool with Machine learning to detect real world cyber-attacks and anomaly in the Industry 4.0 manufacturing system
As a result of the extensive adoption of Industry 4.0 manufacturing systems, two major problems have arisen: cybersecurity and anomaly detection. The initial part of the study involves an examination of potential cybersecurity threats, followed by the introduction of a dataset generated from a real and contemporary system.
Subsequent sections present a novel approach that leverages the capabilities of both digital twin and machine learning technologies to design intrusion detection systems for cybersecurity attacks and identify anomalies within Industry 4.0 systems. The study further introduces domain adaptation techniques to increase the effectiveness of Machine learning models.</p
Success Factors of New Technology-based Firms in Vietnam
New technology-based firms (NTBFs) are vital for employment, innovation, and economic growth. Despite their importance, NTBFs face a high risk of failure. This study proposes a comprehensive framework to analyse factors contributing to NTBF success in Vietnam, including environmental characteristics, financial resources, social capital, and firm strategy. Survey data from 201 NTBFs in Vietnam was analysed using structural equation modeling. The results confirm significant relationships between these factors and NTBF performance, with social capital and firm strategy playing key roles in mediating the impacts of environmental characteristics and financial resources on NTBF performance.</p
Cellulose microfiber isolated from residual of Musa Saba’ midrib for reinforcement of starch-based active biofilm
This research explores the use of banana midrib, typically a waste product, to create biodegradable and active food packaging films. By extracting cellulose fibers from the midrib, the study developed starch-based films that are stronger, more durable, and have improved resistance to moisture. These films can also release antimicrobial agents to preserve food, offering a sustainable alternative to plastic packaging. The findings highlight the potential for reducing food waste and environmental impact by utilizing natural, biodegradable materials in food packaging. This research benefits society by contributing to eco-friendly packaging solutions for the food industry.</p
A Kaleidoscope Model to Address Changes in Construction 4.0 Policy
The research explores the potential of Industry 4.0 to drive economic growth but highlights challenges in understanding and implementing policy changes. The Kaleidoscope Model is introduced as a tool for policymakers to navigate these challenges, with a focus on cultural change and challenges within the model's framework. The study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods, revealing that only Policy Adoption and Implementation significantly impact the effectiveness of Construction 4.0 policy. Surprisingly, no direct connection is found between the Kaleidoscope Model and policy effectiveness, contributing valuable insights for successful policy implementation in political science.</p
Characterization and Applications of Flexible Polymer Metasurface Passive Cooling Films
Radiative cooling technology is an emerging passive cooling technique that requires no energy consumption. This thesis focuses on practical applications, designing and manufacturing high-performance radiative cooling films that are simple in process, low in cost, suitable for mass production, and reusable, all from the perspectives of optics, and thermodynamics. Additionally, a comprehensive analysis of the heat transfer processes and the mechanisms of multiple influencing factors in radiative cooling has been conducted. This research will aid in further exploring feasible methods to enhance radiative cooling performance and promote the broader application of radiative cooling technology.</p
Cross-Cultural Adaptations of Post-War American Literature in Post-1990s Iranian Cinema
The thesis explores Iranian film adaptations inspired by post-war American literature, such as Pari (based on J. D. Salinger’s Franny and Zooey), The Stranger (based on Tennessee Williams’s A Streetcar Named Desire), and The Salesman (based on Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman). Using a sociological approach, it examines how contextual elements such as censorship, gender roles, and social class have influenced thematic resonances between post-war American literature and post-90s Iranian film adaptations. This research contributes to adaptation studies by focusing on sociological influences behind the adaptations, offering new insights into how political and cultural contexts affect film adaptations.</p
A Mixed-Methods Investigation of Barriers and Facilitators to Mental Health Service Utilisation amongst Sri Lankan Australians
This research project is the first comprehensive investigation of Sri Lankan Australians' mental health literacy, stigma beliefs, and facilitators to mental health service engagement; and helped provide insights into factors that may be resulting in Sri Lankan-born Australians having one of the lowest mental health service access rates compared to the Australian-born population. This project found that improving access requires a multi-faceted, culturally responsive approach. This project generated clinical implications, service recommendations, and a provisional framework that could be used to directly translate findings into a community intervention, that is likely to benefit community members and health professionals alike.</p
Development of a novel hybrid polymer concrete with improved damping performance
The research focuses on studying a novel formulation of polymer concrete which has an improved damping capacity while ensuring high mechanical properties of the final product. This study is crucial for many applications where both damping and mechanical properties are required. The novel polymer concrete is developed based on a combination of an ecofriendly particulate elastomer filler and a nanofiller-based-copolymer resin binder. The research helps to develop understanding related to the enhanced damping performance of this hybrid polymer concrete. It also contributes to addressing the environmental impact by using reclaimed filler materials to achieve the above.</p
