Afrîğ Hanedanı: Hârezmşâh II. Muhammed’in Soyağacı Üzerine Bir İnceleme
Bu makale 386/996 senesinde iktidardan düşürülerek idam edilen Hârezmşâh II. Muhammed’in Bîrûnî tarafından üç parça halinde kaydedilen soyağacını incelemektedir. Mezkûr soyağacından Hârezmşâh II. Muhammed’in M. 305 yılından başlayarak 22 nesil boyunca Hârezm’e kesintisiz bir şekilde hükmeden köklü bir hanedanın son temsilcisi olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Bîrûnî’ye göre Afrîğ’den neşet eden bu silsile İrânî kökenli olup Sâsânî Hanedanının uzantısıdır. Ancak Bîrûnî, soyağacında kaydettiği isimlerin hükümdarlar olup olmadıklarına dair net bilgiler vermemiştir. Bu nedenle söz konusu şecere, Hârezm hükümdarlarının kronolojik listesi gibi algılanmaktadır. Diğer taraftan Bîrûnî’nin sunduğu listedeki birçok isme günümüze intikal edebilen sikkelerdeki yazıtlarda rastlanmamaktadır. Bu durum Bîrûnî’nin kaydettiği şecerenin şüpheyle karşılanması sonucunu doğurmuştur. Sunduğumuz makale, Hârezmşâh II. Muhammed’in soyağacındaki kişi adlarını Bîrûnî’ye alternatif yazılı kaynaklar ve nümismatik bulgular ile sorgulamaktadır. Sonuç olarak şeceredeki yedi ismin tarihi şahsiyetler ve hükümdarlar oldukları; bu şecerenin Hârezm’e hakim olan hükümdarların sıralı bir listesi değil, II. Muhammed’in soyundan geldiği atalarından ibaret sayılması gerektiği; zira şecerede adları zikredilmeyen hanedan mensubu Hârezmşâhların da bulunduğu, tahtın Afrîğ’den II. Muhammed’e intikal sürecinin açıklanabildiği ve Bîrûnî’nin kaydettiği bilgilerin tutarlı oldukları anlaşılmıştır
Investigation of Drawability of Al 1050 Sheet Metal Material
In this study; The effects of drawing speed (punch speed), sample width and punch diameter change on the Erichsen Index of Al 1050 (99.53% commercial purity) material, which is widely preferred in the industrial sector, were investigated experimentally. Fully automated Erichsen cupping equipment designed, manufactured and calibrated was used in the experimental studies. The tests were carried out with 8 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm spherical end punches in accordance with ISO 20482 standard at 5 mm/min, 6.25 mm/min and 8 mm/min punch speeds. From the results of the Erichsen cupping test; It has been determined that, from the point where the punch diameter reaches 1.5 times the value of the punch diameter, the punch load and the Erichsen Index-EI value decrease when the sample width is equal to the punch diameter. In addition, it was found that EI increased with increasing punch diameter. Experimental findings obtained from the test device designed, manufactured and calibrated; It has demonstrated that it is a hardware capable of detecting reliable Erichsen Index values with a precision of 0.01 mm
How Should I Start Research in Cyber Security? Suggestions for Researchers According to Bibliometric Analysis Data
The aim of this study is to discover the research trends in the field of cyber security with performance analysis and to reveal the intellectual structure of the field of cyber security with scientific mapping. For this purpose, articles published in the field of cyber security between 1998-2021 in the WoS database were examined. The research was carried out in accordance with the bibliometric analysis guide. In the data collection phase, 1,631 articles were included in the study by taking into account the criteria determined among 15,781 studies using the PRISMA procedure. R program was used in bibliometric analysis. According to the findings of the study, there has been a significant increase in article productivity in the field of cyber security after 2020. Although IEEE Access is the journal with the highest number of publications in the field, IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid ranks first according to h-index and g-index values. Considering the topics studied according to the years, it is seen that in the first years, issues related to the law such as cybercrime and cyber terrorism were examined, and recently, in addition to these, current technological issues have been included. It is observed that the most effective publication is 'The Internet of Things for Health Care: a Comprehensive Survey' by Islam et al. which examines the security of the Internet of Things in health care, which is also a current issue
Prenatal Attachment and Related Factors in Adolescent Pregnant Women
The aim of this study was to determine the level of prenatal attachment and related factors in adolescent pregnant women. The study is cross-sectional descriptive type. The sample consisted of 34 adolescent pregnant women who applied to obstetrics outpatient clinics in a Training and Research Hospital. The data were collected between June 2018-June 2019. The Personal Information Form was collected using the Prenatal Attachment Inventory (PAI), Marriage Life Scale (MLS) and Health Practices in Pregnancy Scale (HPPS). The mean scores obtained from the scales are PAI 38.38±11.47; MLS is 32.74±8.16 and HPPS is 94.93±10.87. A significant negative correlation was found between PAI and HPPS mean score, and a positive and strong relationship between PAI and MLS score mean. While the mean score of PAI and MLS in adolescent pregnants is below the average level, HPPS is above the average. Prenatal attachment level was found to be low in those who are secondary school graduates, married for 2 years, whose first pregnancy and gender of the baby were male, and who evaluated the relationship with their husband at a moderate level. Prenatal attachment increases as satisfaction with marriage increases, while prenatal attachment decreases as health practices during pregnancy increase. Midwives should especially evaluate the prenatal attachment level and related factors of adolescent pregnants, and perform applications to increase prenatal attachment
A Study on the Wide Frequency Range Electrical Variables in the Al/Coumarin–PVA/p-Si Diodes at Room Temperature
Coumarin-PVA is deposited onto p-Si wafers using the spin coating technique. I examined the fundamental electrical variables of the Al/Coumarin?PVA/p-Si type Schottky barrier diodes (SBDs), by utilizing capacitance/voltage(C-V) and conductance/voltage (G-V) measurements at different frequencies varied from 10kHz to1MHz. I have thoroughly explored how the Coumarin?PVA interlayer, series resistance (Rs) and surface states (Nss) affect the electrical properties of SBDs. In order to remove Rs's influence on the observed C and G values, I corrected them. The observed high values of C/G measured at low frequencies result from the existence of interfacial states. There is evidence that while NA decreases exponentially with increasing frequency, ?B increases exponentially. A particular distribution of Nss density, polarization processes, and the existence of an interfacial layer can all contribute to explaining these characteristic features of them. According to experimental findings, I conclude that the interfacial polymer Coumarin?PVA layer as well as the Nss and Rs also have a significant impact on the C/G-V quantities of SBDs
VERGİ GELİRLERİ VE KAMU HARCAMALARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ: SEÇİLMİŞ ÜLKELERDEN KANITLAR
Bu çalışmada, 71 ülkede vergi gelirleri ile kamu harcamaları arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. 1990-2019 dönemine ait verilerle yapılan çalışmada, Dumitrescu-Hurlin Panel Nedensellik (2012) testi, Gergenbach, Urbain ve Westerlund (2016) eşbütünleşme testi ve Pedroni (2001) DOLSMG katsayı tahmincisi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan eşbütünleşme testi sonucunda, değişkenler arasında eşbütünleşme ilişkisinin olduğu görülmüş, nedensellik analizi sonucunda ise vergi gelirlerinden kamu harcamalarına doğru tek yönlü bir nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir. DOLSMG katsayı tahmincisi ile hem panelin geneli hem de ülkeler bazında vergi gelirlerinin kamu harcamaları üzerindeki etkisi ortaya konulmuştur. Buna göre, 58 ülkede vergi gelirleri kamu harcamaları üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahiptir. Ancak bu etki Bahreyn, Malezya ve Meksika olmak üzere üç ülkede negatif yöndedir. Ayrıca vergi gelirlerinin kamu harcamaları üzerinde pozitif etkiye sahip olduğu 55 ülkeden 12’sinde katsayı değeri birden büyüktür. Sonuç olarak, analiz sonuçları genel olarak Friedman (1978)’deki öngörüye paralel olarak Vergi-Harcama Hipotezi’nin geçerliliğini ortaya koymaktadır. Ancak Bahreyn, Malezya ve Meksika’daki sonuç Buchanan ve Wagner’in öngörüsüyle tutarlıdır
Lendemeriella vaczii, a new lichenized fungal species from Antarctic Peninsula-with a key to the genus Lendemeriella
Lichens are most dominant elements of Antarctic terrestrial vegetation, however, they are still not well known. In this paper, Lendemerialla vaczii is described as a new lichen la, based on morphology and phylogenetic analysis. The new species is characterized by brownish cream or buff-colored areolate thallus lacking vegetative propagules, black and lecideine apothecia and very thin (up to 1 mu m) septa in ascospores. Phylogenetic analysis of nrITS sequence data shows that new species clusters in the genus Lendemeriella with a high bootstrap support. The new species is compared with other Lendemeriella species and other related crustose Teloschistaceae species without anthraquinones and a comprehensive description is provided. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the orthopaedics outpatient clinic
OBJECTIVE: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted orthopaedic practice since it started. In our study, we aimed to examine these effects on outpatient services. PATIENTS AND METHODS: The patients who applied to the orthopedic outpatient clinic (n=1,518) in six months period under the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic (September 2020-March 2021) and patients (n=1,207) who applied during the same period before the pandemic (September 2019-March 2020) were analyzed according to the demographic characteristics (age, gender), reasons for admission, duration of complaints, treatments applied, surgical acceptance rate, and compliance with treatment. RESULTS: The mean age in the pre-pandemic outpatient clinic admissions was 39.1 years (1-91 years), the gender ratio was 635/572 (Female/Male), the mean age of the patients was 38.1 years (1-95), and the sex ratio was 793/725 (F/M) during the pandemic. Admissions of patients with acute complaints decreased after the pandemic, and applications for subacute or chronic complaints increased. Applications for sports medicine, pediatrics, and hand surgery increased, applications for trauma, foot and ankle surgery decreased, and applications for oncology and spine did not change. Conservative treatment recommendations decreased, the surgical treatment recommendation did not change, and the rate of patients who were given only follow-up decisions increased. There was no significant difference in the treatment rejection and surgical acceptance rate. CONCLUSIONS: We observed that the number of traumas decreased, and the hospital admission duration extended. The increase in the consultation rate and follow-up preference indicates that the treatment is more conservative in this period. In this process, patients should be adequately informed about the precautions taken, and their treatment should not be interrupted. © 2023 Verduci Editore s.r.l. All rights reserved
Enhancement of Shear Strength in Lap Joints with Different Surface Patterns
In this study, surface patterning with CNC vertical machining center was applied to aluminum surface for the enhancement of the shear strength of the epoxy bonded lap joints. It was found that the pattern shape affected shear strength and among vertical, square, horizontal, 45 degree and diamond patterns, 45 degree provided the highest shear strength of 24.6 MPa. Moreover, the pattern features also affected the shear strength. Decrease in the depth led to slightly lower shear strength, whereas increase in the depth gave slight enhancement. The optimum depth was found as 300 ?m and the obtained shear strength was calculated as 25.5 MPa. Additionally, increase in the width length led to lower shear strength. On the other hand, decrease in the width length provided higher shear strength. The increment became smaller as the width length increased. Also, after a point, the trend reversed and the shear strength decrease slightly. The optimum width length and the corresponding shear strength were found as 1.0 mm and 28.0 MPa, respectively
Fen Bilimleri Öğretim Programının (2018) Beyin Temelli Öğrenme Açısından İncelenmesi
Yaşayan bir organizma olarak insan, hayatının tüm evresinde dengeye ulaşma aşaması içerisindedir. Denge hiçbir zaman sürekli değildir ve dengeye ulaşma açısından ortaokul öğrencileri için önemli bir evredir. Öğrenciye verilen doğru uyaranlar ile beyinde doğru noktalara temas ederek öğrenmeyi sağlayacaktır. Beyin temelli yapılan çalışmalarda çoğunlukla fen eğitimi üzerinde gidilmektedir. Bu sebepten dolayı fen bilimleri öğretim programının beyin temelli öğrenme açısından incelenmesini önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2018 Fen Bilimleri Öğretim Programındaki kazanımların beyin temelli öğrenme açısından incelenmesidir. Bu bağlamda, programda yer alan kazanımların beynin hangi bölümlerini temel aldığı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle yürütülen araştırmanın verileri “Beyin Bölümleri Kontrol Listesi” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde frekans ve yüzde analizleri yapılmıştır. Prefrontal Korteks ve Medial Frontal Lob-Anterior Singulat Korteksi etkinleştiren kazanımların oldukça yüksek, Limbik-Paralimbik Bölgelere ait kazanımın ise en az olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmaya yönelik öneri olarak fen bilimleri öğretim programı beyin temelli öğrenme açısından güncellenebilir
