TELAAH KESESUAIAN BUKU GURU MATEMATIKA KELAS X KURIKULUM 2013 BERDASARKAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK
Abstract. Textbooks play important roles in learning process. They function as references to gain knowledge and to find answers of questions given by teachers. However, not all textbooks have good quality. Some textbooks do not have complete explanation and appropriate language use. Therefore, teachers should analyze the content of textbooks and analyze their relevance to the current curriculum.Based on 2013 curriculum, government provides textbooks for teachers and students from Elementary School to Senior High School and Vocational School. Teacher book and Student Book were published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Teacher Book has short explanation about learning activities so that teachers and students can adjust learning process with the latest curriculum.This research is intended to analize whether Teacher Book of Mathematics is relevant to Scientific Approach and to describe mathematics teachers’ difficulties in comprehending the Teacher Book. The design of this research is Descriptive Research. Source of information in this research is Teacher Book of Mathematics. Besides, information is also obtained from mathematics teachers in Lumajang. Some instruments used in this research are table consisting of questions about the content of Teacher Book and questionnaire. Procedures of collecting data are content analysis and documentation. Answers from the tables were counted to know the percentage of appropriateness. The finding shows that there are 99 activities in observing stages, 59 activities in questioning stage, 58 activities in experimenting stage, 79 activities in associating stage, and 94 activities in communicating stage. It means that Teacher Book is relevant to Scientific Approach since five stages of Scientific Approach are included in this book. Based on the result of the questionnaire, it is found that one teacher said that observing is difficult, three teachers said observing is mediocre, and one teacher said that observing is easy to do. In questioning stage, two teachers said that questioning is easy, two teachers said that questioning is average, and one teacher is easy. In the third stage, three teachers said that experimenting is mediocre, and two teachers said that experimenting is easy. In the fourth stage, four teachers said that associating is mediocre and one teacher said that it is easy. In the last stage, two teachers said that communicating is easy, two teachers said that communicating is mediocre, and one teacher said that it is difficult. Therefore, it is recommended to use Teacher Book and combine this book with interesting activities in the classroom such as solving problems, experimenting, and discussing. PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN BERMAIN PERAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IIIB SDN SEMBORO 01 KECAMATAN SEMBORO KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstrak. Salah satu masalah pokok dalam pembelajaran pada pendidikan formal adalah rendahnya daya serap dan hasil belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajran.Hal tersebut dikarenakan berbagai sebab diantaranya, pola pembelajaran makin bersifat guru sentris yang berarti pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru, model pembelajaran yang diterapkan di sekolah masih bersifat konvensional yaitu hanya dengan ceramah, penggunaan alat peraga/media jarang sekali digunakan, praktik pembelajarannya kurang memanfaatkan situasi nyata di lingkungan siswa, dan siswa kurang dilibatkan dalam proses pembelajaran dan cenderung pasif. Kecenderungan pembelajaran demikian, mengakibatkan lemahnya pengembangan potensi diri siswa dalam pembelajaran, siswa selalu diam saja ketika mendapatkan kesulitan dalam belajar, siswa selalu menunggu guru untuk memberi contoh-contoh soal dan cara pengerjaannya yang benar tanpa mencoba berpikir untuk menggali dan membangun idenya sendiri, siswa tidak pernah mengajukan pertanyaan yang kurang dimengerti, sehingga prestasi belajar yang dicapai tidak optimal.Adapun model atau alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di SDN Semboro 01 kecamatan Semboro kabupaten Jember yaitu melalui pembelajaran dengan model bermain peran.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IIIB melalui penerapan metode bermain peran pada mata pelajaran IPS pokok bahasan jual beli di SDN Semboro 01. Tahap penelitian tindakan diawali dengan perencanaan tindakan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (action), observasi (observation), dan melakukan refleksi (reflection), dan seterusnya sampai perbaikan atau peningkatan yang diharapkan tercapai.Analisis hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siklus I dari jumlah 23 siswa terdapat 15 siswa yang mendapat skor ≥ 65, dan dikatakan tuntas secara klasikal mencapai 65,22 %. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan dari 23 siswa terdapat 21 siswa yang mendapat skor ≥ 65 dan dikatakan tuntas secara klasikal sebesar 91,30%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS dengan model bermain peran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas IIIB SDN Semboro 01 Kecamatan Semboro Kabupaten Jember. PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA MODERN BERBASIS MEDIA LABORATORIUM VIRTUAL BERDASARKAN PARADIGMA PEMBELAJARAN ABAD 21 DAN KURIKULUM 2013
Abstract. A research has been conducted to develop media and physics learning device of Modern Physics based on virtual laboratory. Paradigm of 21st century learning and the curriculum 2013. Subject is class XII IPA SMA Tut Wuri Handayani Makassar at academic year 2013/2014. The development procedure followed the four-D models. Results showed (1) virtual laboratory were valid and reliable; (2) learning tools in the form of Lesson Plan, Students Textbook, and Students Worksheet, (3) activity learners above 80%, of the activity of each criterion are: observing , asking , try/collect data , associate , and communicate. This indicating that learning was able to activate the learners. (4) The percentage of learners perceptions above 90% indicates very amenable to learning is done. Activities and perceptions of learners shows that media-based learning virtual laboratory practical and effective.

PENERAPAN METODE LEARNING TOGETHER UNTUK PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PECAHAN PADA SISWA KELAS III SEMESTER GENAP DI SDN PETUNG 02 SUMBERBARU JEMBER TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013
Abstrak. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan metode learning together yang diterapkan saat pembelajaran matematika pada materi pokok Pecahan yang dilaksanakan pada sekolah dasar kelas III. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan desain penelitian model Kemmis dan Taggart. Alur penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari: 1. Perencanaan, 2. Tindakan, 3. Pengamatan, 4. Refleksi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 27 siswa. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode observasi, metode tes, dan metode dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptifkuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari siklus I, II, dan III yaitu masing-masing 74,07%, 81,48%, dan 88,88%. Pada siklus III ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal telah tercapai. Kata Kunci: metode learning together, prestasi belajar
ANALISIS DESKRIPTIF LEVEL PERTANYAAN PADA SOAL CERITA DI BUKU TEKS MATEMATIKA SMK PROGRAM KEAHLIAN RUMPUN SENI, PARIWISATA, DAN TEKNOLOGI KERUMAHTANGGAAN KELAS XI PENERBIT PUSAT PERBUKUAN DEPARTEMEN PENDIDIKAN NASIONAL BERDASARKAN TAKSONOMI SOLO
Abstract: The goal of this research aims to describe the percentage of each level question about the narrative question on mathematics textbook for second class of SMK for art, tourism, and household technology skill program based on SOLO taxonomy. The data used in the research is form of narrative questions on the mathematics textbook. To analyze the data, we use descriptive approach. The result of this research was precentage of level question based Taxonomy SOLO. Therefore, the percentage of Unistructural Level are 0%; Multistruktural Level are 49,52%; Relasional level are 50,48%; and Extended Abstrack Level are 0%.

PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DENGAN TEKNIK WHOLE BRAIN TEACHING MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISI LENGKUNG PADA SISWA KELAS IX
Abstract: The development of mathematics learning device research was intended to produce a beteer learning device in arch, which was oriented on scientific approach through whole brain teachin technicue. Furthermore, it was conducted by describing the development process of learning device, analyzing the result of learning device development, comparing the scores of the students who applied scientific approach through whole brain teaching technique to the scores of the students who applied conventional mathematics learning. The result of the analysis showed that (1) learning device development products were lesson plans, students’ book, teacher’s book, students’ worksheets and the test result that had met good criteria, (2) teaching and learning mathematics based on scientific approach through whole brain teaching was effective in teaching arch with a percentage of 90,86%. from four times meetings, had showed a good result. (3) in the trial, the practicality of the learning device was shown by the average of teacher’s observation achievement 93,15% which showed good interpretation (4) Learning outcomes of the students who applied whole brain teaching technique had better result compared to learning outcomes of the students who applied conventional mathematics learning. It was shown by the result of the t arch 5,039> from t table. It meant there was a significant different between control class and experiment class. PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR SISTEM GERAK MANUSIA BERBASIS PETA KONSEP DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP SISWA KELAS XI SMA DI KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstract. A Concept map provides a concrete visual aid to help organizing the information before it is learned in order to create a meaningful learning. This research aimed to determine process of learning materials of human movement system based on the concept map and to know the level of mastery concepts of the students. This research was a developmental research using 4-D models. To evaluate the quality of learning materials, it used the questionnaire validation that assessed by 6 validators. The learning materials applied to three different school to get respons of learning materials quality. The results showed that the average from material expert was 75% with proper category, the average from developmental expert was 81,25% with very proper category, the average from media expert was 76,6% with proper category, and the average from teachers were 87,8% with very proper category. The results of the research indicated that learning materials of human movement system based on concept maps improved the level of mastery concepts with an average of the evaluation test enhancement, at the first meeting was 68.70, second meeting was 77.70, and third meeting was 82.76. The average of evaluation result increased at 9.00 in the first and second test and 5.06 in the second and third test.

PENERAPAN METODE EKSPERIMEN DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN MEDIA ASLI TUMBUHAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN KETUNTASAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI (POKOK BAHASAN KLASIFIKASI MAKHLUK HIDUP PADA SISWA KELAS 7A DI SMP NEGERI 2 MAESAN TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014)
Abstract. The objective of this research is to determine the application of eksperiment method with real plants to improve the activities and learning outcomes in teaching material clasification of living thing in 7A grader at SMP Negeri 2 Maesan. This research is a classroom action research that uses one class. The learning process in the action class uses two cycles. The result of the research is the average value learning outcomes in the first cycle of 75% and it improves in the second cycle to 91,66% with criteria clasical of learning outcome 70%. Student activies showed a positive response on learning process with the result 68,05% in the first cycle and 92,4% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the application eksperiment method with the help of the real plants can be used improved the student’s activities and learnig outcome in Biology lesson. PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BAERBASIS KARAKTER KREATIF DENGAN PENDEKATAN REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION (RME) PADA SUB POKOK BAHASAN TABUNG DAN KERUCUT KELAS IX SMP
Abstract. The research aims to know process and result of developing of mathematics learning aids based on creativity and Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach for cylinder and cone sub topics at ninth grade of junior high school. The research development model refers to modified of 4D Thiagarajan models. The subject of research is students of IXB class at SMPN 1 Jember in odd semester academic year 2013-2014. The data of research are obtained by validation sheet, observation sheet of teacher and students activities, observation sheet of student creativity development and student skill,student worksheet, and self assesment sheet. The product of this research are lesson plan, student handbook, and worksheet. The result shows that the learning instruments qualifies validity, practical, and effective criteria. The percentage of student creativity based on the data of observation sheet of student creativity development and self assesment sheet is 70,67%, it means that in general students at IXB class have a good creativity at learning cylinder and cone subs topic. MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SDN SIDOMEKAR 08 KECAMATAN SEMBORO KABUPATEN JEMBER PADA PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DENGAN METODE BERBASIS INKUIRI
Abstrak. Pembelajaran PKn haruslah lebih berkembang, tidak hanya terfokus pada kebiasaan dengan strategi atau urutan penyajian sebagai berikut: diajarkan definisi, diberikan contoh-contoh dan diberikan latihan soal. Hal ini sangat memungkinkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menerima konsep yang tidak berasosiasi dengan pengalaman sebelumnya. Dalam latihan soal sebaiknya dihadapi bentuk soal cerita yang mungkin terkait dengan terapan PKn atau kehidupan sehari-hari. Aktifitas belajar tidak akan terbangun apabila siswa masih merasa kesulitan dalam menerima pelajaran PKn, PKn dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang membosankan. Sehingga jangan disalahkan apabila disetiap jam pelajaran PKn siswa cenderung merasa enggan dan malas. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut perlu ada solusi dalam penyampaian mata pelajaran PKn dengan menggunakan berbagai cara yang menarik yang ada kaitannya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah “Apakah dengan metode berbasis inkuiri dapat meningkatkan aktifitasdanhasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Sidomekar 08 Kecamatan Semboro Kabupaten Jember pada Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan”. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus penelitian yaitu Siklus I dan Siklus II. Terbukti Untuk ketutasan klasikal pada siklus I yaitu 61,5% dan siklus II yaitu 91,3%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri dalam materi pemerintahan tingkat pusat dapat meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Sidomekar 08.
