Abstract : The research purpose are knowing process and result of Developing Characterized Mathematics Learning Materials Based On Quantum Teaching For Social Arithmatics Topic At Grade Seven Of Junior High School. Learning Set development models refers to 4D Thiagarajan models. This research has product namely Sillaby, Lesson Plan, Student book, Worksheet, and evaluation test which have advantages. This product has been implemented in characteristics of Quantum Teaching Model and character building in all of learning sets. Based on validation process and tryout the learning materials can be concluded that the learning materials had been appropriate with validate, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract : The purpose of this study was to identify the historical temple in Malang Regency clown as a place of Reshi Agastya pendarmaan which was built by the Licwa / Gajayana who ruled the kingdom Gajayana langgam Central Java but geographically located in East Java. The results of this study indicate that there is a motive of political upheaval in Central Java which makes a style temple Clown no influence of style temple in Central Java. IMPROVING THE EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS’ DESCRIPTIVE TEXT WRITING ACHIEVEMENT BY USING SINGLE PICTURES AT SMPN 1 SEMPU IN THE 2012/2013 ACADEMIC YEAR
Abstract : This research was intended to improve the eighth grade students’ descriptive text writing achievement at SMPN 1 Sempu by using single pictures. The data that were collected were the students’ achievement in writing descripitive text and picture’s facilitation in composing descriptive text. The methods used to collect the data were : test and questionnaire. The data about students’ achievement was collected through writing test and the data about picture’s facilitation was collected through questionnaire. The analysis data in this research was collected from writing test and observation. The result of writing test in the form of the students’ scores of writing test was analyzed quantitatively. The research findings of the writing achievement revealed the students who got score ≥ 70 or more increased from 54.8% in the first cycle to 77.4% in the second cycle. The result of questionnaire also increased from 54.8% in the first cycle to 84.3% in the second cycle. In conclusion, the use of single pictures could improve the eighth grade students’ descriptive text writing achievement at SMPN 1 Sempu. TINDAK TUTUR EKSPRESIF GURU TERHADAP SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 7 JEMBER
Abstract : Human beings never be separated from the use of oral language in the form of speech acts, speech act it’s very important part in communicating. One of the interesting events studied language pragmatics is speaking events between teachers and students in school interactions. The use of language, particularly the Indonesian language in a classroom learning the realities of communication that takes place in classroom interaction. In classroom interaction, teachers have always used language to expedite the process of interaction. Teachers as having an important role in the learning process, always use speech as a medium to convey ideas to students. Teachers have a tendency to use speech acts are adapted to function and situation. Based on these events in this study, researchers examined several issues, among others, the function of expressive speech acts, mode of expressive speech acts, and the effects caused by perlocution expressive speech. The study design used is qualitative research, this type of study is a descriptive study. Based on these results, obtained results that the function expressive speech acts are widely used by teachers is expressive speech acts rebuke function, mode of speech acts which are widely used by teachers is imperative bermodus speech, and many emerging perlokusi is embarrass partner said. IMPROVING THE VIII C CLASS STUDENTS’ SPEAKING ABILITY BY USING ROLE-PLAY TECHNIQUE AT SMP NEGERI 11 JEMBER IN THE 2010/2011 ACADEMIC YEAR
Abstract : This article is intended to describe the research result on the use of Role-play in improving the VIII C class students’ speaking ability and students’ active participation in teaching learning activity. The research problem was the students’ experienced difficulties in speaking. It is hard for students to express their ideas orally. To solve this problem, the role-play technique was used to improve students’ active participation and their speaking ability achievement. The research design was classroom action research and the primary data were collected by using reading comprehension test and observation. The result of the research showed that the use of role-play could improve the students’ active participation and their reading comprehension achievement. PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN ACCELERATED LEARNING DENGAN MODALITAS OTAK TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA (SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 9 JEMBER)
Abstract Alternative education strategies need to be developed to produce superior learners through the provision of care,treatment and educational services based on their talents, interests and abilities. But in fact, learning in SMP Negeri 9Jember is still conventional, where the delivery system is more dominated by teachers. This may result in low activity and student learning outcomes. Therefore, we need a approach education of learning appropriate. One approach to learning that can be used is the approach of Accelerated Learning and Modality Brain. The application of this learning model aims to determine learning activity and the difference learning outcomes with conventional model in SMP Negeri 9Jember. Classroom action research subject is class VIIIB and VIIID SMP Negeri 9 Jember academic year 2012/2013.Based on the analysis results, student learning activities including an active category is equal to 70.24%./ Learningoutcomes better than conventional model while the average student learning outcomes in the cognitive product of 70.68;cognitive processes of 77.26; psychomotor at 82.14, and 78.71 for affective. Abstract. This article is intended to describe the research result on the use of implementing Small Group Working Technique in improving tenth grade students’ reading comprehension achievement. The research problem was the students’ difficulties in comprehending English text and poor of vocabularies. To solve this problem, implementing Small Group Working Technique was used to improve students’ active participation and their reading comprehension achievement. The research design was classroom action research and the primary data were collected by using reading comprehension test and observation. PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY TWO STRAY (TSTS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII G SMP NEGERI 4 JEMBER TAHUN AJARAN 2012/2013
Abstract : Cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) is a learning model that allowing the group to share results and information with other groups. Cooperative learning provides an opportunity for students to learn and understand the problem first, then they will be actively involved in discussion groups of 4 people who have different ability, then 2 people will visit another group, 2 people living in the group will share the results of discussions, and guests excused theirself and will match and discuss their work. This learning technique developed by Spencer Kagan (1992), if can be used in all subjects and for all ages of students. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), student activity and student learning outcomes were analyzed using percentage formula. The results of the research showed that the learning activities of students increase from 69,67% in cycle 1 to 80,11% in cycle 2. The results of the percentage formula in cycle 1 showed that the students is inactive, while in cycle 2 showed that the students were classified as active. Furthermore, the students learning outcomes had increased. The students who reached KKM in first cycle is 22 students or 73,33%, while in cycle 2 they were 25 students or 83,33%. The result showed that the student’s outcomes increased 10% from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Key ords: Cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), learning activity, and learning outcome
IMPROVING THE EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION ACHIEVEMENT BY USING JIGSAW IV TECHNIQUE AT SMPN 1 RAMBIPUJI JEMBER
Abstract : The aim of this research is to improve the Class 8A students’ reading comprehension achievement by using Jigsaw IV technique at SMPN 1 Rambipuji Jember. The respondents of this research were Class 8A students of SMPN 1 Rambipuji Jember in the 2012/2013 academic year. The research respondents were determined purposively based the result of the previous reading test score got from the English teachers. The data of this research were obtained from the students’ scores of reading comprehension test, interview, documentation and observation. Based on the results of reading comprehension test in Cycle 1 and 2, it showed that there was improvement of the number of students who got scores more than 71. There were 48.64% of the Class 8A students who achieved the standard score in Cycle 1 while in Cycle 2, the number was improved to 78.37%. It indicated that the number of students who achieved the standard score improved and reached the target percentage of this research that was 75% of the total number of the Class 8A students got more than 71.
