    Binuclear complex, [N(n.C4Hg),J[MnIiFell/~ ox()oi]x=oxalate),has been synthesized and characterized.Binuclear complex with formula of [N(n-C4Hg),J[Mn/lFel/(oxh]was synthesized by forming precursor K3[Fe(oxh] which was followed by adding manganese chloride and tetrabutyl ammonium chloride. Characterization of the complex was made by microanalysis, FT-IR spectroscopYl x-ray diffraction and Magnetic Susceptibility Balance. Magnetic moment of binuclear complex [N(n-C"Hg),J[MnIFell/(oxh]is 7.81 BM.     Based on the analysis of genetic structuralism suggested by Lucien Goldmann, showed that Emile Zola as an adherent of naturalism, through the mediation of his work LaReteHumaine, has managed to bring a distinctive world view. In his career as an author who engage fully in social and political life of his time, Zola has been firmly demonstrated a world view that is different with the rulers at that time. His involvement in the political field, as well as to the weak, and become victims of an unjust system of capitalism, and his commitment to the truth which he believed, had produced changes in the field of social and political. This is evident with the recognition of social rights of workers in those days, and the .release of Alfred Dreyfus from prison. Yet all that must be redeemed by his life. Zola died of assassinated by political opponents. Berdasarkan analisis strukturalisme genetik yang disarankan oleh Lucien Goldmann, menunjukkan bahwa Emile Zola merupakan penganut naturalisme, melalui perantaraan karyanya La Rete Humaine, telah berhasil mengemukakan sebuah pandangan dunia yang khas. Dalam karimya sebagai seorang penulis yang terlibat penuh dalam kehidupan sosial dan politik pada masanya, Zola telah dengan tegas menunjukkan pandangan dunia yang berbeda dengan penguasa pad a waktu itu.     In Indonesia, sexual activity that has not been legitimized by the state is one of the realities that are constructed by the language of "masculine-heterosexual", as an absolute discourse defines in the hands of the state. This paper is about to dismantle about usage of" masculine-heterosexual" language by the Indonesian mass media discourse in defining and putting illegitimate sexual activity in the landscape of the nation\u27s sexuality discourse in Indonesia. Using critical multiculturalism framework, identity theory and constructivist paradigm, this paper will explore discourse articulated by mass media in the articles that explain those matters. Using discourse analysis as the method, there\u27s four tabloids as research subject, Tabloid Nova No. 1165/XXIII 21-27 Juni 2010, Tabloid Bintang Edisi 997 Tahun XX Minggu Ketiga Juni 2010, Tabloid Wanita Indonesia No. 106921-27 Juni 2010, and Tabloid Genie Edisi 50 Tahun VI, 21-27 Juni 2010. Di Indonesia, aktivitas seksual yang belum dilegitimasi oleh negara merupakan salah satu realitas yang dikonstruksi oleh bahasa "maskulin-heteroseksual" yang dalam konteks tersebut merupakan diskursus yang pendefinisiannya mutlak di tangan negara. Tulisan ini hendak membongkar lebih lanjut mengenai penggunaan bahasa "maskulin-heteroseksual" oleh media massa Indonesia dalam mendefinisikan serta meletakkan diskursus illegitimate sexual activity anak bangsa dalam lanskap diskursus seksualitas Indonesia. Menggunakan kerangka pikir critical multiculturalism, teori identitas serta paradigma konstruktivis yang berargumen bahwa media massa merupakan agen konstruksi realitas, tulisan ini hendak mengeksplorasi diskursus yang berusaha diartikulasikan media dalam artikel-artikel yang membahas mengenai hal terse but.     Effect of Allicin for Re-epithelialization During Healing in Oral Ulcer Model

    Allicin (diallyl thiosulfinate) isthe main component offresh garlic with multi-bioactivities astherapeutic agent. Recently,allicin is being proposed as alternative therapy for aphthous ulcer. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of topical allicin in aqueous garlic extract on re-epithelialization during healing of acetic acid induced oral ulcer model. Thirty malesSDrats aged 2 months were equally divided into two groups as experimental and control groups. After sedated with 0.2 ml intramuscular Ketamine injection, ulcer model was made by applying 99.5% glacial acetic acid-moistened paper disc on rat buccal mucosa.This would generate an immediate necrotic tissue, which produced a single crateriform ulcer in each of the experimental rats for the next two days. In the experimental group, one drop of allicin was applied twice daily onto the lesion. Three rats in each group were sacrificed on days 2, 3, 6, 9 and 12 after induction and were recorded as H&#8320, H&#8321, H&#8324, H&#8327and H&#8321&#8320groups, respectively. The tissue samples from buccal mucosa were processed for Hematoxylin Eosin (HE) staining, and then evaluated histologically. Re-epithelialization was assessed by measuring the thickness of the epithelium using an ocular micrometer under a light microscope.     Calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2]is widely used as medicament in dental pulp and root canal therapy. Previous\u27 studies demonstrate the aoility of calcium hydroxide to induce necrosis in dental pulp tissue. However, the mechanism of tissue destruction remains unknown. The aim of this study was to investigate fibroblast cell viability in response to calcium hydroxide exposure. In this study, Vero fibroblast cell line was treated with various concentrations of calcium hydroxide for 24 hours. Cellviabilitywas measured by using MTTassay. Our results showed significantdecrease in cellviabilityafter exposed with calcium hydroxide at concentration 62.5 and 125 Jlg/ml. The result indicated that calcium hydroxideinduced cell death in Verocell line in a dosedependent manner. This study suggests that fibroblast cell death may involved in the mechanism of pulp tissue necrosis caused by calcium hydroxide

    Fasa y-Li&#8322Sc&#8323(P0&#8324)&#8323merupakan material konduktor superionik yang dapat diaplikasikan sebagai baterai yang dapat diisi ulang (rechargeable). Ion Li ± dalam struktur y-Li&#8322Sc&#8323(P0&#8324) dapat mengalami migrasi dari posisi terisi ke posisi kosong. Penelitian ini telah memodelkan migrasi ion Li+dalam struktur y-Li&#8322Sc&#8323(P0&#8324)dengan menggunakan metode bond valence sum (BVS). Metode ini dapat memprediksi bilangan oksidasi suatu atom berdasarkan jarak dengan atom-atom tetangga. Source code berbasis BVS yang digunakan adalah JUMPITER yang mensimulasi efek gaya listrik eksternal yang bertindak pada ion litium sehingga nilai BVS litium dapat dipetakan terhadap jarak. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa konduksi ion Li+dapat terjadi pada arah [010], [101], dan [120]. Namun, lintasan konduksi ion Li+ lebih mudah terjadi pada arah [120] atau bidang ab dengan nilai maksimum BVS adalah 0,982. y-phase of Li&#8322Sc&#8323(P0&#8324)&#8323is a lithium super ionic conductor which can be applied as a rechargeable lithium battery . Lithium ions of y-Li&#8322Sc&#8323(P0&#8324) can migrate from occupied site to vacant site. In this research. simulation of Li+ ions migration in the structure of y-Li&#8322Sc&#8323(P0&#8324) carried out using bond valence sum (BVS) to predict the oxidation state of Li+ion based on the distance of the ion to neighboring atoms. BVS-based code used JUMPITER to simulate the effect of external electricalforce acting on the lithium ions to produce the lithium BVS value which can be mapped to the distance. The simulation results shows that Li+ ion conduction can be occurred on [010}. [101}. and [120} directions. However. the Li ion conduction pathway occur more easily in the direction of [120} or ab plane with the B VS maximum value is 0.982

    Pcnclitian pcngembangan metode sintesis furfural dengan bahan dasar campuran limbah pertanian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menentukan waktu pemanasan dan konsentrasi asam optimum serta mewujudkan prinsip green chemistry. Dalam penelitian-inidigunakan campuran limbah pertanian ampas tebu, limbah daun nanas dan limbah tanaman jagung dengan perbandingan 1:1:I. Proses sintesis melalui tahap hidrolisis pentosan, dehidrasi, dan siklodehidrasi untuk membentuk furfural dengan menggunakan alat refluks termoditkasi. Identifikasi furfural menggunakan uji wama dengan anilin asetat, uji indeks bias, spektrofotometer UV -Vis, dan JR, serta Gc. Analisis pemenuhan prinsip green chemistl) mcnggunakan daftar ceck 12 prinsip green chemstry. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Waktu pcmanasan dan konsentrasi asam sulfat optimum pada pembuatan furfural dari campuran limbah pcrtanian adalah 5 jam dan konsentrasi asam sulfat 10% (1,876 M) dengan rendemen sebesar 5,58%. Mctode sintcsis furfural yang dikembangkan dapat memenuhi 11 dari 12 prinsip green chemistry yang telah ditetapkan. The study of developing furfural synthesis method from compost heap mixture had been done to determine optimum condition jar this process and to reach out the green chemistry principles. In this research. the compost heap mixture isfrom three kinds of compost heap (bagasse, pineapple leaf, waste of\u27 corn plant) with same amount (I: 1:1). The steps offurjilral production process are hydrolysis of pentose by sulfuric acid. dehydration, and cyclode hydration to form furfural. It was produced by using a modtlication rellux apparatus. IdentifY offurfural product by using qualitative analysis color test with aniline acetate, refractive index test, UV-Vis, IR spectrophotometer, and Gc. Green chemistry principles are analyzed by using check list of 12principles of green chemistry. Based on this research was ohtained that the optimum concentration of sulluric acid is 10% (I.876M) with 5 hours heating process and 5,58% yield.     Nowadays, the rational drug usage is the main orientation of pharmaceutical service. One of parameter that can be used to measure the rationality of drug usage is by using valuation toward drug usage description, so this research\u27s done to see the drug usage description toward outpatient in Panti Nugroho Hospital Sleman. This research is descriptive non experimental. The data was taken prospectively with systematic random sampling method. The data taken from the prescription that given for outpatient, patients direct observation that is started from consultation with the doctor in polyclinic until the patients got the drugs, and key drugs (drug of choice) in RSPN Sleman that is analyzed by using WHO drugs usage indicator 1993. The result of this research showed that the average number of drug per encounter is 2,44 Rl, the percentage of drugs prescribed by generic name is 27,92%, the percentage of encounters with an antibiotic prescribed is 15,27%, the percentage of encounters with an injection prescribed is 0,33%, and the percentage of drugs prescribed from hospital formulary is 85,05%. However, based on the patients service indicator research result, the result is that the average consultation time is 8 minutes 24 seconds, the average dispensing time is 9 minutes and 56 seconds, the percentage of drugs actually dispensed is 95,89%, the percentage of drugs adequately labeled is 99,66%, and the percentage of patient\u27s knowledge of correct dosage is 90,00%. From the research result using health facility indicator, it can be seen that in RSPN, there is hospital\u27s formularium (1), and the percentage of key drugs availability is 100,00%

    THE OPTIMIZATION OF ENZYMATIC SYNTHESIS FOR LAUROYL-N-METHYL GLUCAMIDE SUR FACT ANTS

    The optimization of enzymatic synthesis for lauroyl-N-methylglucamide surfactants is studied. The fraction of palm kernel oil namely lauric acid (AL) was amidificationed with N-methyl glucamine (MGL) to produce lauroyl-Nmethyl glucamide. Study was carriedout by using immobilizedlipase from Candidaantarctica (Novozyme 435 ® ), and tert-amylalcohol as a solvent. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) based on a five level, three variable design was employed, firstly, for studying the interactive effect of various parameters on the reaction, and secondly, for the optImization. The reaction parameters observed were Novozyme concentration, substrate molar ratio, and temperature. Simultaneouslyincreasing Novozyme concentration, substrate molar ratio, and temperature improves the reaction yield and the effect of temperature is noted more significant. The expected optimum condition was at molar ratio MGL: AL 1:1, the Novozyme concentrationof 8% and the reaction temperatureof 50-55°C. The reactions at the optimum condition produce the convertion of lauric acid of 64.5% and yield of 96.5%. With the optimization procedure the higher alkyl glucamide yield was achieved

    ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH DAN PROFITABILITAS AGROINDUSTRI RUMAH TANGGA ETANOL DI KABUPATEN SUKOHARJO = The ValueAdded and Profitability Analysis of Ethanol Home Agroindustry in Sukoharjo Regency

    This research aims to: (1) measure thefeasibility rate of agroindustry of ethanol, (2) thefactors that affect valueadded agro-processing of sugar cane molasses into ethanol, (3) thefactors that affect the profit of ethanol agroindustry, (4) the relationship or the mutual influence between the value added to the feasibility of covering the profit, profitability, and break eventpoint (BEP). The research was conducted in Sukoharjo regency in theperiod of November 2009 until October 2010. The results of this research indicate that: (1) the average gain per unit of marketing during the period November 2009 to October 2010 amounting to Rp. 220,311,318.00. and the level of profitability (net B/C ratio) for each agro-processing of molasses into ethanol is 53.91% so it can be seen that the ethanol agroindustry is feasible to develop and deliver benefits for business owners. (2) Factors that significantly influence the value added are: the production capacity, the amount of raw materials, and the amount of fuel. (3) Factors that significantly influence the profit are: the price of sugar cane molasses as the main raw materials, auxiliary input price of caustic soda, and wage labor. (4) The existence of a positive relationship between the value added to profits and profitability, while the relationship between value-added is inverseproportional to the break evenpoint. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kelayakan agroindustri keeil etanol, (2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niJai tambah agroindustri pengolahan tetes tebu menjadi etanol, (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keuntungan usaha agroindustri keeil etanol, (4) hubungan atau pengaruh timbal balik antara nilai tambah dengan kelayakan yang meliputi keuntungan, profitabilitas, dan titik impas (BEP). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Sukoharjo pada periode usaha Nopember 2009 sampai dengan Oktober 2010. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Agroindustri etanollayak untuk dikembangkan dan memberikan keuntungan bagi pemilik usahanya. Rata-rata keuntungan per usaha selama periode Nopember 2009 sampai dengan Oktober 2010 sebesar Rp. 220.311.318,00 dan tingkat profitabilitas per usaha agroindustri pengolahan tetes tebu menjadi etanol adalah 53,91%. (2) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai tambah adalah kapasitas produksi yang dihasilkan, jumlah bahan baku, dan jumlah bahan bakar. (3) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keuntungan adalah harga tetes tebu sebagai bahan baku utama, harga input penolong soda api, dan upah tenaga kerja. (4) Adanya hubungan positif antara nilai tambah dengan keuntungan dan profitabilitas, sementara itu hubungan antara nilai tambah berbanding terbalik terhadap titik impas
