    Pernikahan anak : kajian sosiologis pada film Dua Hati Biru

    Pernikahan anak merupakan salah satu praktik pernikahan yang dilakukan oleh pasangan berusia dibawah 18 tahun atau bahkan dengan orang dewasa. Praktik pernikahan anak cenderung akan membawa para pelakunya terpaksa menghadapi realita kehidupan keluarga yang mengalami disfungsi. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana realitas pernikahan anak yang digambarkan pada film “Dua Hati Biru” serta mengetahui cara penyelesaian masalah keluarga yang muncul di dalam pernikahan anak pada film “Dua Hati Biru”, sehingga hal ini dapat menjadi sarana edukatif ataupun tempat pembelajaran untuk masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian media (media research) dengan metode kualitatif, kemudian pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif yaitu upaya menjelaskan suatu fenomena atau realitas sosial yang terjadi. Data yang telah digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua jenis, diantaranya data primer berupa film drama keluarga Indonesia berjudul “Dua Hati Biru” dan data sukunder yang peneliti gunakan dari berbagai bentuk, seperti jurnal, skripsi, buku, dan web digital. Penelitian ini memakai dua teknik pengumpulan data, observasi dan dokumentasi melalui pengamatan serta pengambilan potongan scene pada film “Dua Hati Biru”. Maka, teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah semiotika atau teknik untuk mengkaji tentang pemaknaan dari suatu tanda. Model semiotika yang dipakai milik Ferdinand de Saussure, yang membagi tanda ke dalam dua bentuk, yaitu penanda (signifier) dan petanda (signified). Penelitian ini menggunakan teori representasi Stuart Hall untuk menjelaskan proses representasi terkait realitas pernikahan anak. Hasil penelitian kali ini menunjukkan bahwa representasi terkait pernikahan anak pada film “Dua Hati Biru” melihatkan kondisi kehidupan keluarga yang sering kali mengalami berbagai macam pemasalahan. Hal tersebut diantarnya, pergaulan bebas faktor dari pernikahan anak, terganggunya kesehatan reproduksi, ekonomi tidak stabil, dan hubungan keluarga tidak harmonis. Permasalahan inipun kembali berdampak terhadap anak yang dilahirkan, diantaranya yaitu kualitas lingkungan hidup anak yang tidak baik, anak tidak mendapat perhatian yang cukup, hilangnya fungsi perlindungan terhadap anak, dan terganggunya mental dan emosional anak. Melalui penyampaian pesan representasi terkait kondisi keluarga tersebut, peneliti mengungkap makna bahwa pernikahan anak lekat terjadinya disfungsi keluarga. Sehingga, adapun representasi terkait upaya yang dilakukan untuk menciptakan ketahanan keluarga, seperti mengikuti pelatihan keluarga, mengakui kesalahan dan meminta maaf, memaksimalkan potensi diri dalam dunia kerja, serta menciptakan waktu berkualitas keluarga. Selain itu, terdapat upaya untuk menciptakan karakter berkualitas pada anak yang dilahirkan, seperti melakukan konseling psikolog anak serta menanamkan nilai agama dan moral anak. Maka, pengungkapan makna pada representasi ini, dapat mempengaruhi cara pandang masyarakat untuk memahami realitas pernikahan anak yang akan memberi dampak negatif kepada pelakunya. ABSTRACT: Child marriage is one of the marriage practices carried out by couples under the age of 18 or even with adults. The practice of child marriage tends to lead the perpetrators to be forced to face the reality of dysfunctional family life. Therefore, this research aims to find out how the reality of child marriage is depicted in the movie “Dua Hati Biru” and find out how to solve family problems that arise in child marriage in the movie “Dua Hati Biru”, so that this can be an educational tool or a place of learning for the community. This research uses a type of media research with qualitative methods, then the approach used is descriptive, which is an effort to explain a phenomenon or social reality that occurs. There are two types of data that have been used in this research, including primary data in the form of an Indonesian family drama film entitled “Dua Hati Biru” and secondary data that researchers use from various forms, such as journals, theses, books, and digital web. This research uses two data collection techniques, observation and documentation through observation and taking pieces of scenes in the movie “Dua Hati Biru”. So, the data analysis technique in this research is semiotics or a technique to study the meaning of a sign. The semiotic model used belongs to Ferdinand de Saussure, who divides the sign into two forms, namely the signifier and the signified. This research uses Stuart Hall's representation theory to explain the representation process related to the reality of child marriage. The results of this study show that the representation of child marriage in the movie “Dua Hati Biru” shows the conditions of family life that often experience various kinds of problems. These include promiscuity as a factor of child marriage, disruption of reproductive health, unstable economy, and disharmonious family relationships. These problems also have an impact on the children who are born, including the quality of the child's living environment that is not good, the child does not receive sufficient attention, the loss of the function of protecting children, and the mental and emotional disruption of children. Through the delivery of representation messages related to family conditions, researchers uncovered the meaning that child marriage is closely related to family dysfunction. Thus, there are representations related to efforts made to create family resilience, such as attending family training, admitting mistakes and apologizing, maximizing self-potential in the world of work, and creating family quality time. In addition, there are efforts to create quality character in children who are born, such as counseling child psychologists also instilling religious and moral values in children. Thus, the disclosure of meaning in this representation can influence people's perspective to understand the reality of child marriage, which will have a negative impact on the perpetrators

    Mempertahankan tradisi punjungan dalam upacara kelahiran di era budaya global : studi di Desa Tulusrejo, Kecamatan Grabag, Kabupaten Purworejo

    Tradisi punjungan merupakan sebuah tradisi kebudayaan yang berasal dari masyarakat Jawa, di mana tuan rumah menyediakan hidangan nasi beserta aneka lauk untuk keluarga, kerabat, dan tetangga sebelum atau saat mengadakan acara hajatan, seperti pernikahan, khitanan, atau kelahiran. Tradisi punjungan upacara kelahiran dilakukan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas kehadiran seorang anak dalam sebuah keluarga. Transformasi sosial budaya yang dipicu oleh globalisasi dan modernisasi telah mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk ritual adat dan tradisi lokal. Namun tradisi punjungan di Desa Tulusrejo Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Purworejo masih dijaga oleh sebagian masyarakat sebagai wujud identitas dan kearifan lokal. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti ingin menjawab (1) bagaimana proses pelaksanaan tradisi punjungan dalam upacara kelahiran di Desa Tulusrejo, (2) bagaimana strategi mempertahankan tradisi punjungan dalam upacara kelahiran di Desa Tulusrejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dengan memberikan kerangka yang memungkinkan pemahaman mendalam tentang tradisi punjungan dalam konteks sosial, budaya, dan keseharian masyarakat. Adapun jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian lapangan yang dilakukan di Desa Tulusrejo, Kecamatan Grabag, Kabupaten Purworejo. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur dengan informan berjumlah sembilan orang, dan dokumentasi. Setelah semua data terkumpul kemudian data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, tradisi punjungan upacara kelahiran di Desa Tulusrejo, Kecamatan Grabag, Kabupaten Purworejo mempunyai beberapa tahapan yaitu musyawarah keluarga dan pembentukan panitia untuk memastikan acara berjalan dengan lancar dan sesuai nilai-nilai tradisi, bantuan tenaga tetangga dan pemuda untuk membantu proses teknis menyiapkan makanan, pembagian punjungan untuk menyebarkan keberkahan dan rasa syukur, doa bersama dan makan yang memiliki makna spiritual yang mendalam, pembubaran panitia yang menandakan bahwa tanggung jawab telah selesai dilaksanakan. Kedua, strategi mempertahankan tradisi punjungan upacara kelahiran ini berupa peran pemerintah dalam pelestarian tradisi di tengah arus globalisasi serta sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada generasi muda untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan terhadap tradisi punjungan ini.   ABSTRACT: The punjungan tradition is a cultural tradition originating from the Javanese community, where the host provides rice dishes along with various side dishes for family, relatives, and neighbors before or during a celebration event, such as a wedding, circumcision, or birth. The punjungan tradition of birth ceremonies is done as a form of gratitude for the presence of a child in a family. Socio-cultural transformations triggered by globalization and modernization have affected various aspects of community life, including customary rituals and local traditions. However, the punjungan tradition in Tulusrejo Village, Grabag Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency is still maintained by some people as a form of identity and local wisdom. Based on this, the researcher wants to answer (1) how the process of implementing the punjungan tradition in the birth ceremony in Tulusrejo Village, (2) how the strategy to maintain the punjungan tradition in the birth ceremony in Tulusrejo Village. This research uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach by providing a framework that allows an in-depth understanding of the punjungan tradition in the social, cultural, and daily context of the community. The type of research is field research conducted in Tulusrejo Village, Grabag District, Purworejo Regency. Data collection in this study was obtained through observation, semi-structured interviews with informants totaling nine people, and documentation. After all the data were collected, the data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that: First, the tradition of birth ceremony punjungan in Tulusrejo Village, Grabag Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency has several stages, namely family deliberations and committee formation to ensure the event runs smoothly and according to traditional values, assistance from neighbors and youth to help the technical process of preparing food, distributing punjungan to spread blessings and gratitude, praying together and eating which has a deep spiritual meaning, dissolution of the committee which indicates that the responsibility has been completed. Second, the strategy to maintain the punjungan tradition of this birth ceremony is in the form of the government's role in preserving traditions in the midst of globalization and socialization and education to the younger generation to increase interest in this punjungan tradition

    Manajemen program budaya disiplin dalam mengembangkan karakter disiplin siswa di SMP Negeri 18 Semarang

    Manajemen program merupakan bagian terpenting dalam meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi agar semua program berjalan sesuai rencana. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya nilai karakter disiplin siswa sehingga masih terdapat siswa yang datang terlambat, meninggalkan rumah tanpa datang ke sekolah, membolos atau pergi tanpa izin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen program budaya disiplin dalam mengembangkan karaker disiplin siswa di SMP Negeri 18 Semarang. Salah satu upaya sekolah dalam menanamkan nilai karakter disiplin yaitu dengan melaksanakan program budaya disiplin sehingga dengan adanya pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang dilaksanakan setiap hari di sekolah dapat membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan karakter disiplin. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan teknik penelitian observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa dalam manajemen program budaya disiplin dilakukan melalui perencanaan dengan pembentukan tim, menetapkan tujuan dan menyusun program kerja, pelaksanaan melalui sosialiasi ke semua warga sekolah, pemilihan agen semai, pelaksanaan program seperti program posko kehilangan, program kantin kejujuran, program tertib masuk sekolah, program tertib sholat dhuhur berjamaah dan program tertib do’a siswa kristiani, dan evaluasi dilakukan oleh internal (sekolah) dan eksternal (inspektorat)

    Pengaruh kualitas layanan dan bonus terhadap loyalitas anggota : studi kasus produk Simpanan Mutiara di KSPPS Tamzis Cabang Kebumen

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Kualitas Layanan dan Bonus Terhadap Loyalitas Anggota di KSPPS BMT Tamzis Bina Utama. Kualitas layanan menjadi faktor utama dalam mempertahankan anggota, sementara pemberian bonus merupakan strategi untuk meningkatkan loyalitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada anggota BMT dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas layanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas anggota. Demikian pula, bonus yang diberikan oleh BMT memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas. Nilai t hitung variabel kualitas layanan sebesar 2, 938 dan variabel bonus sebesar 4,435 yang lebih besar dari nilai t tabel yaitu 2,021. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa BMT perlu meningkatkan kualitas layanan dengan memperhatikan aspek kecepatan, keramahan dan kemudahan transaksi, serta mempertimbangkan program bonus yang lebih menarik agar dapat meningkatkan loyalitas anggota. ABSTRACT: This study aims to analyze the Influence of Service Quality and Bonuses on Member Loyalty at KSPPS BMT Tamzis Bina Utama. Service quality is the main factor in retaining members, while providing bonuses is a strategy to increase loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to BMT members and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on member loyalty. Likewise, bonuses given by BMT have a positive and significant effect on loyalty. The t-value of the service quality variable is 2.938 and the bonus variable is 4.435 which is greater than the t-table value of 2.021. The implication of this study is that BMT needs to improve service quality by paying attention to aspects of speed, friendliness and ease of transactions, as well as considering more attractive bonus programs in order to increase member loyalty

    Pengaruh digital literacy, kemudahan penggunaan, dan keamanan transaksi terhadap minat menggunakan QRIS BSI : studi pada komunitas Novo Club Region Semarang

    Kemajuan teknologi telah memberikan dampak signifikan pada sektor keuangan digital, mendorong pergeseran dari sistem pembayaran tunai ke nontunai. Mobile banking salah satu layanan yang disediakan oleh bank untuk memfasilitasi transaksi keuangan secara daring melalui perangkat telepon seluler. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) meluncurkan aplikasi BSI Mobile yang menyediakan layanan pembayaran digital melalui QRIS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh digital literacy, kemudahan penggunaan, dan keamanan transaksi terhadap minat menggunakan QRIS BSI pada anggota komunitas Novo Club Region Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu anggota Komunitas Novo Club Region Semarang dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner melalui google form menggunakan skala likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji instrumen penelitian, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji t (parsial) menunjukkan bahwa variabel digital literacy berpengaruh terhadap minat menggunakan QRIS BSI. Variabel kemudahan penggunaan berpengaruh terhadap minat menggunakan QRIS BSI. Variabel keamanan transaksi berpengaruh terhadap minat menggunakan QRIS BSI. Berdasarkan uji f (simultan) menunjukkan bahwa digital literacy, kemudahan penggunaan dan keamanan transaksi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan terhadap minat menggunakan QRIS BSI.   ABSTRACT: Technological advances have had a significant impact on the digital financial sector, driving a shift from cash to cashless payment systems. Mobile banking is one of the services provided by banks to facilitate online financial transactions via mobile telephone devices. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) launched the BSI Mobile application which provides digital payment services via QRIS. This research aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy, ease of use, and transaction security on interest in using QRIS BSI among members of the Novo Club Region Semarang community. This research uses quantitative methods with sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling. The population in this research is members of the Novo Club Community in the Semarang Region with a total sample of 100 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form using the Likert scale. Data were analyzed using research instrument tests, classic assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research based on the t (partial) test show that digital and literacy variables influence interest in using QRIS BSI. The ease of use variable influences interest in using QRIS BSI. Transaction security variables influence interest in using QRIS BSI. Based on the f test (simultaneous), it shows that digital literacy, ease of use and transaction security have a positive and significant influence simultaneously on interest in using BSI QRIS

    Pengaruh user satisfaction, ease of use dan security terhadap loyalitas nasabah dalam penggunaan Byond by BSI di Kabupaten Demak

    Perkembangan layanan digital perbankan mendorong hadirnya aplikasi seperti Byond by BSI yang dirancang untuk memberikan kemudahan, keamanan, dan kenyamanan bagi penggunanya. Namun, dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan berbagai keluhan, Masalah penelitian muncul dari adanya keluhan pengguna terkait kesulitan penggunaan aplikasi, gangguan transaksi, serta keraguan terhadap aspek keamanan dan layanan customer service. Kondisi ini menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai sejauh mana user satisfaction, ease of use, dan security berperan dalam membentuk loyalitas pengguna aplikasi Byond by BSI di Kabupaten Demak. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh user satisfaction, ease of use, dan security terhadap loyalitas pengguna aplikasi Byond by BSI dan memberikan rekomendasi bagi peningkatan layanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan melibatkan 100 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus lemeshow. Data didapatkan dari penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala likert lima poin. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linier berganda dengan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik secara parsial maupun simultan user satisfaction dan ease of use dan security berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pengguna Byond by BSI. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan User satisfaction, Ease of use dan security untuk meningkatkan adopsi dan memperkuat loyalitas nasabah. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas sampel dan mempertimbangkan variabel tambahan yang dapat mempengaruhi loyalitas pengguna secara lebih komprehensif. ABSTRACT: The growth of digital banking services has led to the development of applications like Byond by BSI, which are designed to offer users convenience, security, and comfort. However, various complaints still exist in practice. The research problem arises from user complaints about difficulty using the application, transaction disruptions, and doubts about security and customer service aspects. These issues raise questions about the extent to which user satisfaction, ease of use, and security influence the loyalty of Byond by BSI users in Demak Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of user satisfaction, ease of use, and security on user loyalty to the Byond by BSI application, and to provide recommendations for improving the service. This research used a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique involving 100 respondents, determined using the Lemeshow formula. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. Multiple linear regression models were used for data analysis in this study with SPSS 23. The results showed that user satisfaction, ease of use, and security had positive and significant effects on Byond by BSI user loyalty, both partially and simultaneously. These findings confirm the importance of increasing user satisfaction, ease of use, and security to strengthen customer loyalty and increase adoption. Future research is recommended to expand the sample size and consider additional variables affecting user loyalty

    Exploring EFL teachers in implementing educational technology for generation Z students

    Technology's quick development has drastically changed how education is taught, especially for Generation Z (Gen Z) pupils, who are digital natives and extensively rely on technology for learning. This study investigates how English teachers adapt to the distinct learning preferences of Gen Z students by incorporating and mastering technology into their lessons. Data were gathered using a qualitative research approach at SMK Islamic Center Baiturrahman through document analysis, classroom observations, and interviews with English teachers. The results show that educators use various technology tools to improve student engagement, including projectors, smartphones, online learning environments (like Google Classroom and E-Class), and interactive apps (like Kahoot and Quizizz). The survey also shows that teachers encounter several difficulties, such as restricted access to technology, lessons that require more time to prepare, and the requirement for additional digital literacy training. Teachers use techniques including self-study, attending workshops for professional development, and peer collaboration to get past these challenges. Although technology has improved student interest and instructional efficacy, the study concludes that ongoing assistance and training are necessary to maximize its incorporation in English language instruction. This study adds to the continuing conversation about digital pedagogy and offers suggestions for improving English language instruction in the digital age.     Video clip-assisted task through cultural intervention to promote EFL students’ critical intercultural awareness

    With the position of English as an international language that plays an important role in the field of education to equip students on how to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds effectively and appropriately, in practice, in the EFL classroom is still lacking in the implementation of intercultural learning in English language learning. Therefore, This study aims to promote students' critical intercultural awareness (CIA) in English language learning at the secondary school by incorporating video clip-assisted task through cultural interventions into teaching materials, this study used a mixed method design where students' CIA data were obtained from pre-post test questionnare from 1 pre- experiment class consisting of 22 students, then regarding students' responses were collected through open ended questionare and observation, The qualitative data were analyzed through miles huberman and saldana’theory and the quantitative data were analyzed through T-test. The results showed that the average CIA scores of students upgraded after receiving cultural interventions, and supported by positive responses given by students from both the cognitive, affective, and conative domains. It is hoped that future research can conduct a longitudinal study within the use of full experimental treatment to explore the long-term effects of the intervention on students' critical intercultural awareness and integrate more than one or two cultures in learning and integrate more than just one or two cultures in learning. As well as by conducting direct encounters with intercultural people so that the understanding of critical intercultural awareness will be more comprehensive.     Technology integration in EFL classroom: an exploration of pre-service teachers’ preparedness and pedagogical experiences

    The integration of technology has become one of important things in learning, especially in language learning. However, the preparedness of pre-service EFL teachers to effectively incorporate technology into their teaching practices remains a concern. This study aims to discover pre-service EFL teachers’ preparedness in integrating technology in EFL class and to explore the pre-service EFL teachers’ pedagogical experiences supporting their preparedness. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, this study involved eight pre-service EFL teachers from an undergraduate English Education Department during their teaching internship at SMPN 23 Semarang. Observation and interview are used in this study as the data collection method then the data were analyzed by data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusion of the data. To ensure the validity of data, this research use methodological triangulation. Findings indicate that participants are proficient in using various technologies to enhance students’ learning. Participants also demonstrate the preparedness in implementing appropriate methods and materials, and also integrating teaching materials into the students’ level. This study revealed various pedagogical experiences of pre-service EFL teachers such as, teaching practicum experiences, professional development and also experiences in attending formal class that significantly support their confidence and preparedness to use technology in EFL classroom. In conclusion, this study provide valuable insight for pre-service EFL teachers that can support their preparedness to effectively integrate technology in learning process.     EFL learners’ listening strategies to improve listening skills

    This study aims to examine the listening strategies employed by EFL learners to comprehend spoken English, focusing on the types of strategies used and the challenges learners encounter. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews with eight senior high school students at SMAN 8 Semarang during the 2024/2025 academic year, employing an interactive model that involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that learners employ cognitive, metacognitive, and social-affective strategies, often supported by authentic materials such as songs, movies, and podcasts. These strategies help improve vocabulary, confidence, and overall comprehension, especially when aligned with students’ interests. However, challenges such as fast speech, unfamiliar accents, and limited vocabulary remain common. Despite this, students adapt through repetition, using subtitles, and seeking peer support. The study concludes that the use of interest-based and consistent strategies enhances listening comprehension.
