Instrument of Lecturer Performance and Student Activity In the Lecture at Primary School Teacher Education Program
The purpose of the study was to develop lecturer performance instruments to measure the ability of lecturers to bring lectures and instruments for student activities while attending the lecture. This study is a research and development (R & D) design developed from the instrument by Rusilowati, which included: (1) needs analysis, (2) determination of indicators and grids, (3) development of questions, (4) expert review, limited trials, field trial (is a cycle activity between review and revision), (5) analysis of trial results and (6) product assembly. The results of the study (1) indicators for lecturer performance instruments were: work ability, initiative in work, work quality, accuracy of work, lecturers’ behavior and appearance, communication and nationalism. (2) indicators for lecture activity instruments: readiness to attend lectures, attendance in lectures and timeliness of completing assignments. (3) the instrument tested on 50 students and lecturers in the Primary School Teacher Education program at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang shows that both instruments were valid and reliable. It was concluded that the two instruments can be applied because they were valid and reliable to measure lecturers in bringing lectures and student lecture activities while attending lectures
Improving the Natural Science Learning Result through the Implementation of Teams Games Tournament Learning Model Aided with Video Learning
The aim of this research is to know the improvement of student learning outcomes in science subjects using the cooperative model type TGT-assisted video learning media at grade IV SDN 02 Lebak Grobogan. This type of research is Research Action class. The subject of this research is the grade IV. Data collection used are tests, documentation, and observations. Data analysis technique used is the comparative descriptive analysis of quantitative data, i.e., Comparing test scores initial conditions, test scores after the cycle I and cycle II after the test value. The results of this study showed that after given learning by applying a model of education occurs learning video rocks TGT improved preconditions from cycle to cycle I and cycle II. An increase in the application of the model proves that media video-assisted learning TGT can improve the learning results of IPA students 4th grade State 02 Lebak Grobogan
Entrepreneurship Interests Students Viewed From Internship Experience and Role Of Teachers
This study aims to reveal the experience of internship and the role of teachers in the interests of student entrepreneurship. This study uses the ex-post facto method with a quantitative approach. The study population was vocational students in the Technical and Informatics Expe rtise Program in Buol District, which was precisely 160 students. The number of research samples is 113 students using proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection uses questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that partially the internship experience (24.19%) and the role of the teacher (13.61%) had a positive and significant influence on the interest in entrepreneurship. While simultaneously the two variables are insightful for entrepreneurship interests of 37.8%. These results indicate that the experience of internship and the role of teachers are more so that it can produce vocational graduates not only ready to work but also able to entrepreneurship
A Preliminary Study Strategy on Development of Personalized Education Tool Using Joint Requirement Planning Technique
Involving a number of the prospective system user and applying various techniques to discover user requirements are fundamental in software engineering. This paper briefly reports upon the inceptive phase of software development life cycle (SDLC) that aimed to assemble potential user’s recommendation in developing educational purposed application for the mobile system. The conducted study implemented Joint Requirement Planning (JRP) technique to substitute individual interview which spends a huge effort in time and cost. This small-scale research entangled 45 students of Vocational Information Technology at State Islamic University Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh Indonesia, whose acquaintance with both software engineering and pedagogical knowledge. They were entreated in observing eight selected applications that exist on the market. The software packages were utilized as a role model for developing a future personalized education tool (PET) system. The students’ experience during JRP session then were qualitatively analyzed using QDA Miner to draw a recommendation for creating a better personal learning software. This study found that the explored applications were insufficient to fulfill students’ needs, therefore the main outcome of this research expounds user requirements that will be used to design a better tool in supporting formal learning i.e. variety learning activities, incomplex navigation, and adaptable system
Development of Project-based Blended Learning (PjB2L) Model To Increase Pre-Service Primary Teacher Creativity
One of the aims of Indonesian education is to develop the potential of learners to become creative human beings. It takes a creative teacher to meet this need. Not just teaching, but teachers who are able to teach with innovative models, strategies and methods provide an opportunity for students to be skilled from creative products including in the field of mathematics in elementary school (SD). The aim of this research is to develop model to grow pre-service primary teacher students’ creativity in designing the lesson plan. The method used in this research was R&D with ASSURE development model. Product validation was done through an expert’s assessment by using the expert’s validation sheet. Product effectiveness was seen by implementing limited development testing to a particular class with a one group pretest-posttest design and the result was analyzed by using a Paired-Samples T-Test. The result of this research was a project-based e learning model to increase the creativity of pre-service primary teacher college students in designing a lesson plan. The validity of the learning model was proven by the result of the expert assessment in learning (face-to-face and online), material and instructional media. This model is also effectively usable in instructions to produce creative lesson plans for teaching Elementar School Mathematics as it is shown by the difference in the average pretest and posttest scores with sig.
