    Abstract: National Competence-Based Curriculum and School Level Curriculum require that changes in the achievement of required basic competencies, the model of learning activities, and evaluation of learning patterns take place. This change is perceived differently by many teachers because of various reasons. This Classroom Action Research aims at developing students’ comprehensive abilities in accordance with the competencies required by optimizing the active, creative, effective and joyful learning model. This research was conducted in two cycles. The result shows that the implementation of the social studies by optimalizing the active, creative, effective and joyful learning model promotes both teachers’ and students’ level of enthusiasm, and students can develop their comprehensive abilities (cognitive, affective, and psychomotoric)

    Abstract: The purpose of this pre-experimental was to describe result of implementation of problem solving model in the elementary schools' mathematic teaching. Subjects were fifth grade class SDN 128 Palembang. The data were collected using observation, test, and interview. Results showed students had capability in applying steps of problem solving in the material form of space and cubus. Optimized the model could give positive influence to students. Students will have skills problem solving in coping to problems at ordinary life. Weakness of  the problem solving model is the problem of time consume in every step. Keyword: problem solving model, mathematic teaching, elementary school.   Abstrak: Penelitian pra-eksperimental ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan model pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD. Subyek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN 128 Palembang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, tes, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa mampu menerapkan langkah-langkah pemecahan masalah dalam materi bangun ruang balok dan kubus. Pengoptimalan model ini dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa. Siswa akan memiliki kecakapan pemecahan masalah dalam menghadapi permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kelemahan model pemecahan masalah, diperlukan waktu yang relative lama pada tiap tahapnya

    Abstract: The aim of research is to develop CD interactive for beginning reading learning in first grade of an elementary school. This research has following contributions: (1) to improve reading ability of student in first grade of elementary school and (2) to improve students activities, participations, and effectivity of reading learning, and (3) to improve student achievement in reading and others subject matter. This study is research and developmental design with four D model. Four D model stands on define, design, develop, dan disseminate. This research produced an CD interactive as media for beginning reading learning in first grade of elementary school.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan  CD interaktif  untuk belajar membaca permulaan pada kelas satu sekolah dasar. Manfaat penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa pada kelas satu sekolah dasar (2) untuk meningkatkan aktivitas, partisipasi, dan efektifitas belajar membaca, dan (3) untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa dalam  membaca dan mata pelajaranan lain.Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D. Model 4D ini terdiri dari perumusan, perancangan, pengembangan, dan pengenalan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan CD interaktif  sebagai media untuk belajar membaca permulaan pada kelas satu sekolah dasar.

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun model penilaian dalam pembelajaran mengarang bahasa Indonesia di SD kelas kelas VI dengan pendekatan research and development (R&D), yaitu penelitian yang menggunakan sebuah proses untuk mengembangkan validitas produk pendidikan. Subyek penelitian adalah 103 siswa dari 4 SD di kota Bandung. Prosedur penelitian meliputi studi awal (studi literatur, studi hasil penelitian sebelumnya, dan studi lapangan); perancangan model (tujuan, penyusunan rancangan model, penyusunan rancangan uji lapangan); uji coba model (tujuan, perencanaan implementasi, evaluasi, revisi); dan validasi model melalui diskusi dengan guru-guru dari tempat penelitian dan mahasiswa Program S1 PGSD yang mengambil konsentrasi Bahasa Indonesia SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada tiga jenis penilaian holistik yang dapat dipergunakan untuk menilai tiga jenis karangan (eksposisi, narasi dan argumentasi) sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, yaitu (1) model penilaian holistik White, (2) model penilaian holistik berfokus (skema komunikatif), dan (3) penilaian holistik yang disesuaikan (diadaptasi dari White)

Therefore, the right decision to choose between study or career becomes an important matter to the life of students as a human. Due to the importance of study/career problems in human being, making right decisions needs to be well-prepared since the children is at the elementary school in order to help them plan their future by giving them an ongoing education program and guidance. Nowadays, a counselor has no structural position in elementary school/Islamic elementary schools. Therefore, the position elementary school teachers’ is very important to play their role and carried the responsibilities to understanding the students and help students’ development task optimum
