The Impact of Green Supply Chain Management on Climate Change: Cursory Glance on the Food Industry
The study assesses and ascertains how food industries can use effective green supply chain practices to lessen the effects of climate change. Positioning the supply network and assigning strategic objectives of the study will open insights into the integration of climate change into green supply chain management in the food industry. Implementing green supply chains can result in a dynamic capability that shall enable organizations to respond to uncertain and changing business environments and sustain their position in the market. The outcome can lead organizations to work efficiently, the attainment of which can be regarded as the key to sustaining businesses and competitive advantage. The Agonizing Narrative of Environmental Dilapidation in the tussle of Armed Conflict; from the Lens of International Humanitarian Laws
It is reasonable that humans have long recorded war fatalities in terms of injuries, death of combatants and civilians, the devastation of cities, and lost livelihoods; we fail to consider the environment, yet, we cannot disregard this issue. The study focuses on how war fuelled catastrophic environmental proceedings have continued to contamination of land, destruction of forests, plunder natural resources, and climate change, forcing the mass displacement of populations within and across borders and creating threats to human health; accordingly, these threats include the direct and indirect consequences of war and conflict such as a lack of clean air, water, nutrition, and housing, increased exposure to infectious diseases, and psychological trauma. The United Nations already tries to reduce the destruction from warfare through international laws called the Fourth Geneva Convention. However, this law has not stopped the degradation of the environment during the war. There is a need for a new set of rules that protect human health and the environment during armed conflict. In this study, the current study engaged in the debate and contextualises it with the research related to the war and environment to offer a better explanation than what already exists and, on its subtext, what the social renovation model needs to bear to stand the test of time and challenges. This research is a normative legal study in which part of the literature will be reviewed to acquire the necessary data using normative approaches. This study will collect and use secondary data from primary, secondary, and legal documents
The Impact of Social Media on Afghanistan's Tourism Industry: A Roadmap for the Future in the Internet Highway
This paper examines the impact of social media on the development of Afghanistan’s tourism industry. Despite the country’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, tourism in Afghanistan has been hindered by ongoing conflicts and security concerns. Social media has emerged as a potential solution to this problem, providing a platform for promoting Afghanistan’s tourism destinations to a global audience. This paper explores the opportunities and challenges of using social media for tourism development in Afghanistan, including increased visibility, user-generated content, direct communication, influencer marketing, and destination marketing. However, the paper also highlights the challenges that must be addressed, such as ensuring the safety of tourists and the need for infrastructure development. Through an analysis of the current state of Afghanistan’s tourism industry and its potential for growth, this paper bridges the gap between theory and practice, providing insights for policymakers and practitioners in the field of tourism development
Water Disputes and the Imperative for a Comprehensive Framework in India
India, as a union of states, has constitutional provisions that outline the allocation of responsibilities between the central government and the states. These provisions are categorized into the Union List (List-I), the State List (List-II), and the Concurrent List (List-III). Article 246 of the Constitution specifies the subject matter of laws to be enacted by the Parliament and the state legislatures. Given that many rivers in the country flow across state boundaries, the regulation and development of water from these inter-state rivers often give rise to differences and disputes between states. The Constitution designates water as a matter falling under Entry 17 of List-II, which pertains to the State List. However, this entry is subject to the provisions of Entry 56 of List-I, which relates to the Union List. This constitutional framework establishes that while states have the primary authority over water resources, the central government also possesses powers to legislate on inter-state water issues. This abstract highlights the significance of water as a subject matter governed by the constitutional distribution of powers in India. With most rivers being inter-state in nature, conflicts arise regarding the regulation and utilization of water resources. This study emphasizes the constitutional provisions that allocate responsibilities for water regulation and development in India. It underscores the need for cooperative governance and effective mechanisms to address inter-state differences and disputes related to water resources
Structural and theoretical insights towards the understanding of the effect on the conformation of ligand by complexation process
The ligand and the palladium complex were synthesized and characterized by the single crystal X-ray diffraction method. The Hirshfeld surface analysis quantified the intermolecular interactions stabilizing the crystal packing in both compounds. DFT (density functional theory) calculations were used to opti-mize the geometric structures and calculate the electronic properties of the synthesized compounds. The ligand and complex's electronic structure and UV-Vis spectrum are interpreted by DFT and TD-DFT (time dependent-density functional theory) calculations. The NBO (natural bond orbital) analysis was employed to study the origin and nature of the hyperconjugation interactions. The intramolecular interaction ener-gies associated with different topologies were calculated using the QTAIM (Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules), and the non-covalent interactions revealed the type and nature of the interactions exhibited by the compound. The structural and theoretical analysis revealed the change in the properties of the ligand due to the complexation process. (c) 2022 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved
Cg…Cg interactions driven 1D polymeric chains bridged by lattice solvents in N3-(2-pyridoyl)-4-pyridinecarboxamidrazone Pb(II) complex
This study will shed light on the non-covalent interactions present in the N3-(2-pyridoyl)-4-pyridinecarboxamidrazone Pb(II) complex (L)Pb(CH3OH)(H2O)2 and their significance in the context of crystal packing and material properties. The complex was synthesized and characterized using single crystal X-ray structural analysis, providing valuable insights into its molecular structure. Our focus was on analyzing the non-covalent interactions in the crystal structure, where these interactions played a crucial role in the formation of one-dimensional network chains observed in the crystal. To quantitatively analyze these interactions, we employed Hirshfeld surfaces analysis. Furthermore, we performed density functional theory computational studies to calculate the molecular geometry and global reactive parameters, allowing us to gain a better understanding of the properties of the novel molecule. The molecular electrostatic potential was plotted to visualize the charge distribution and identify the electrophilic and nucleophilic sites in the molecule. Finally, we explored the non-covalent interactions and electron charge density distribution using the QTAM and NCI models, providing further insights into the complex's behavior. This study contributes to the understanding of non-covalent interactions in the context of crystal growth and design, and expands the knowledge of the structural and electronic properties of the N3-(2-pyridoyl)-4-pyridinecarboxamidrazone Pb(II) complex. © 202
