A research of public’s perception and preference to color landscape in community public space
Get PDF北九州市立大学博士（工学）The study uses color summarizer software and PCCS color coordinate to quantitatively analyze the color landscape characteristics of 95 sites in community public space, including basic color attributes, color clustering and tone feeling. Then, it assesses the color landscape perception (CLPc) and preference (CLPf) of the public to color landscape in community public space, and verifies the differences and correlation between individual factors and CLPc, CLPf. Moreover, this research tested the color landscape cognition (CLC) and color emotional response (CER) of the elderly to Yijiequ’s public spaces. Finally, eye tracking is used to test viewers' eye-movement preference (EmP) for color landscape in community public spaces, and to identify the color characteristics, CLPc factors significantly influencing their color EmP. This work complements objective quantitative and subjective assessment information on the daily color landscape of community public space, which can support color design and optimization decisions for the community.doctoral thesi

A comparative study of placemaking methods for regenerating abandoned schools between Taiwan and Japan
Get PDF北九州市立大学博士(学術)With the rapid development of globalization, industrialization, urbanization, and informatization, numerous economic activities are aggregated in cities, resulting in uneven resource distribution between urban and rural areas. While the falling fertility rate has caused many schools to be non-operational, the school delivers neither the fundamental architectural space value nor contributes any interaction with their neighbors. This research conducts 15 school architecture analyses on their regenerative programs to evaluate the relationship between space order, territory differentiation, user behavior reaction, and user perception of the built environment. Thus, the research analyzes the results of 15 schools’ regenerative progress to clarify the relationship between space use and user perception of reusing the school through placemaking design methods between Taiwan and Japan. Also, the research output is to establish an evaluation process to assist the participant in accomplishing a regeneration space design value and improve civic engagement in a local community.doctoral thesi

Polymeric nanoparticles contribute to efficient drug delivery by reducing side effects, enhancing target specificity to affected areas, and so on. The use of nanoparticles, including the incorporation of physiologically active substances into nanomaterials, is collectively referred to as nanomedicine. This thesis focused on the development of nanomedicine with understanding and tailoring the material properties.
