Research on urban thermal environment around schools and factories based on multi-source data
Get PDF北九州市立大学博士(工学)With the rapid development of global urbanization, urban thermal environment problems have become more and more prominent. Based on multi-source data, this study conducted comprehensive study of urban thermal environment on two cities with different development models from three urban scales. Remote sensing data was used to explore the intensity and spatial distribution characteristics of urban heat island in different seasons from the urban macroscale. Then, schools and factories, two essential functional areas in cities, were chosen to investigate the intensity of industrial heat island and the effect of urban structure on land surface temperature around elementary schools from the urban mesoscale, using land use data and local climate zone classification system. Finally, through field measurements, questionnaires and software simulations, the thermal benchmark suitable for the factory area was constructed, and the impact of urban morphology on the microclimate around elementary schools was analyzed, both from the urban microscale.doctoral thesi
Study on the spatiotemporal trends and driving mechanisms of urbanization in Jilin Province

This study examines urbanization trends in Jilin Province, China, with a focus on spatiotemporal distribution and driving mechanisms. Chapter 1 discusses global urbanization challenges, emphasizing sustainable development and China's theoretical approaches to urban environmental monitoring and socio-economic development. Chapter 2 highlights research trends through bibliometric analysis, pinpointing urban land expansion and its drivers. Chapter 3 outlines research methods, such as remote sensing, GIS, and statistical analysis. Chapter 4 analyzes urbanization from 2012 to 2021 using nighttime light data and statistical validation. Chapter 5 investigates the factors influencing urban expansion through principal component and regression analyses. Chapter 6 compares urban land expansion predictions using the MCR and UEER models, with the latter offering more precise results by considering ecological factors. Carbon emission patterns and impact mechanisms of urban growth and shrinkage in China and Japan
Get PDF北九州市立大学博士(工学)This study examines the carbon emission patterns of growing and shrinking cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) of China and Japan, with an emphasis on the differing urban development patterns between developed and developing countries. It highlights the need for differentiated urban mitigation policies to address carbon emissions. The study categorizes cities into four types: growth, potential shrinkage, smart shrinkage, and continuous shrinkage, and analyzes carbon emission trends across these categories. Results show that shrinking cities in both China and Japan exhibit higher carbon emissions, but Japan shows a stronger trend toward decreasing emissions. The research also explores how factors like urbanization rates, population aging, and industrial structure impact carbon emissions, demonstrating nonlinear and spatial effects. It suggests that regional coordination carbon mitigation strategies are essential, particularly for shrinking cities, which face unique challenges in promoting environmental sustainability.doctoral thesi

Get PDF本稿では、ベトナム人技能実習生等の外国人の急増する福岡県田川地区の地域仏教寺院を調査地として、当寺院で実践された留学生と地域住民との国際共修が多文化共生社会の実現に向けてどのような意義があるかについて考察している。結果、国際共修の実践を通して地域仏教寺院の有する社会関係資本により多様な人的関係性が構築されたが、それだけでなく日本語学習を継続している多国籍の留学生の存在によって、国際共修の現場で多文化間の協働という関係性が維持されたことにも意義があった。多文化を意識してデザインされた国際共修によって、日本人と外国人という二項対立的な関係性がうまく崩れ、外国人に対する地域住民の意識変容が生じ得たと考えられる。departmental bulletin pape

The process of nurses' attitude changes in situations of conflict
Get PDFThis study explores the process of nurses' attitude changes in situations of conflict (potentially contradictory decision making). Semi-structured interviews and questionnaire surveys regarding satisfaction levels of self-choice were conducted with seven nurses who had less than 10 years of experience. Results showed that characteristics of nurses' attitudes were classified into five categories and that the issues that arose between comparable intentions tended to be resolved by integrated processing. The five categories that emerged:Ⅰ-① prioritize one policy, Ⅱ-② feel a conflict between both policies, Ⅱ-③ accept both policies and coexist, Ⅲ-④ add modifications to potentially contradictory decisions, Ⅲ-⑤create a new policy that integrates all potentially contradictory decisions. The findings discussed in the paper regard resolution of potentially contradictory decisions through integrated processing in the hopes for deeper understanding and research development of nursing psychology.departmental bulletin pape
