Full text linkThe presence of Female Daily Network is giving convenience in accessing and sharing various information about the beauty. This research aims to know the information literacy among the users of Female Daily Network. This research uses descriptive quantitatives method. This research shows that information literation about beauty amongst users can be categorized as high with the average score of 75,95%. It indicates that this platform can fulfill the needs of beauty information by users. The majority of users consist of productive female adolescents who really need beauty information that supports their needs of daily life appearance, as well as to overcome various beauty problems

Full text linkHigh quality data and data quality assessment which efficiently needed to data standardization in the research data repository. Three attributes most used i.e: completeness, accuracy, and timeliness are dimensions to data quality assessment. The purposes of the research are to increase knowledge and discuss in depth of research done. To support the research, we are using traditional review method on the Scopus database to identify relevant research. The literature review is limited for the type of documents i.e: articles, books, proceedings, and reviews. The result of document searching is filtered using some keywords i.e: data quality, data quality assessment, data quality dimensions, quality assessment, data accuracy, dan data completeness. The document that found be analyzed based on relevant research. Then, these documents compare to find out different of concept and method which used in the data quality metric. The result of analysis could be used as a recommendation to implement in the data quality assessment in the National Scientific Repository

Full text linkThis study aims to determine the process of building children's character who likes reading through reading story books. The research objectives are knowing the storytelling process and the benefits of storytelling in building the character of children who love reading. Qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The source of research data is one community leader, two managers of the Taman bacaan Permata Hati, and one person from the education office. Collecting data through interviews with key informants, direct observation of research objects, and literature studies. Test the validity of the data through triangulation. Descriptive data analysis through stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the storytelling process to build the character of children who love reading is to set goals, form of storytelling, supporting facilities, storytelling steps, and assessment design
IMPLEMENTASI VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK (VPN) DI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS ISLAM MALANG
Full text linkThis study aims to explain to use a VPN in the UNISMA Library. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative and data was obtained through interviews with five informants, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. While the validity of the data was obtained through triangulation. The results showed that the use of VPN in the UNISMA Library to speed up internet connection and data privacy. UNISMA library uses a proxy server router operating system for VPN networks. To be able to make Mikrotik a VPN server, configuration is required which includes IP pool configuration, IP router configuration, PPP configuration, DHCP server configuration, NAT by pass firewall configuration and IP security configuration. The library selection of VPN products considers the aspects of strong authentication, encryption that is strong enough, meets standards, integration with other field network services

Full text linkThe purpose of this study was to determine and describe the implementation of the National Standards for Higher Education Libraries (SNP-PT) that have been carried out by UM Library. The method used in this research is a combination of qualitative-quantitative, by observing and conducting interviews related to the implementation of the SNP-PT at the UM Library as well as using data in the form of numbers on the performance indicators of each component of the national standard. Achievement of collection indicators, UM Library have implemented 12 out of 14 collection standards for higher education libraries (85,7%). Achievement of facilities and infrastructure indicators, UM Library have implemented 18 of 19 standard facilities and infrastructure for higher education libraries (94,7%). Achievement of service indicators, UM Library have implemented 5 out of 5 service standards for higher education libraries (100%). Achievement of staff indicators, UM Library have implemented 8 out of 10 staff standards for higher education libraries (80%). Achievement of standard administration indicators, UM Library has implemented 6 out of 7 higher education library administration standards (85,7%). Achievement of management indicators, UM Library have implemented 12 out of 12 management standards for higher education libraries (100%). This research shows that the implementation of the SNP-PT policy has been “good” done in UM Library with an average achievement 91,01% of the standards that have been set

Full text linkArchives have an important role in the preservation of cultural heritage buildings by the form of information about the history and development of cultural heritage buildings. Archives of heritage buildings are dynamic archives that are vital. Management thus must take priority. This study aims to the use of archives in the preservation of cultural heritage in Indonesia. A systematic review method was used with a qualitative approach. Collection data methods were conducted by planning, implementation, and reporting. The findings showed there are only two articles that review the archives in preservation heritage. Furthermore, our challenge is the lack of cultural heritage documents that most archives used were under regulations on the preservation of cultural heritage. Almost all articles thus showed a preservation model on physical forms and cultural heritage buildings

So companies can survive in the business environment, they must innovate products, expand markets, improve service quality, improve production processes, improve organizational systems, and make cost savings. A company needs to view knowledge as a valuable and strategic resource. With good knowledge management, organizational resources are not easily imitated by business competitors. Knowledge management in this study uses the APO Assessment Tools framework to assess the maturity level of knowledge management of plantation companies. APO Assessment Tools have 7 categories, namely leadership, processes, people, technology, knowledge processes, learning and innovation, and the results of knowledge management. The results showed that knowledge management in plantation companies in Indonesia was approaching maturity
REFERENCE ERROR IN BOOK MANUSCRIPT FROM LIPI: HOW GOOD OUR SCIENTISTS ARE IN COMPOSING REFERENCES
Full text linkReference lists from 13 book manuscripts that were submitted to LIPI Press in 2018 written by the writers from LIPI were examined. In total, there were 879 reference list entries, and the accuracy of each citation was examined. The examination was conducted by firstly determining the type of error and reference style used for cross-checking. Afterwards, each entry was thoroughly checked for errors. Found errors were grouped into each type of error. The result, only 100 entries were error-free, and from the 779 entries that contain errors, 3,651 errors were found. The errors were categorized into 1,576 punctuation errors; 396 capitalization errors; 338 italicization errors, 206 spelling and word choice errors; 126 syntax errors; 642 spacing errors; 46 extraneous information errors; and 321 missing data errors. From that result, error rate of 4.15 was achieved. This paper concluded that the overall huge error rate found shows the negligence of the writers in composing references

Full text linkThis study aims to determine: (1) the publication of journals and proceedings using e-publishing technology; (2) the prospect of the industry in publishing journals and proceedings in the digital era in the Indonesian context; (3) challenges and efforts to disseminate e-journal and e-proceeding. The study approach is qualitative with the literature review method. The results of the study show that: (1) the use of e-publishing technology is an important part of the publication of e-journal and e-proceeding in the future, which is more flexible, efficient and effective than before; (2) the prospect of publishing the journal and proceedings in the future is fairly bright because publishing technology is more sophisticated, so it encourages better publishing products in terms of types and numbers that are increasingly numerous, interactive, easily accessible, utilizing artificial intelligence, until finally all archiving has made use of big data; (3) the challenges in publishing journals and online proceedings are the competence of human resources, many competitors in this business, the quality of publications tend to be ignored, the disruption of professions, and many abrupt publishers. Meanwhile, digital technology has made the dissemination of journals and proceedings easier, faster and more efficient because they do not involve many parties anymore. E-publishing also reduces the bureaucracy of publishing journals and proceedings, such as not requiring printed correspondence, but simply through e-mail or tools in OJS or OCS applications
PUBLICATION OF RESEARCH DATA MANAGEMENT IN OPEN ACCESS JOURNAL ANALYSIS BASED ON SCOPUS DATA
Full text linkThe study aims to determine: (1) the number of open access resources for research data management publications indexed by Scopus, including the year of publication, source of publication, authors, institutions, countries, types of documents and funding agencies; (2) mapping research data management based on keywords. The results of the study showed that the number of open access resources for research data management publications has started since 1981 and the number has continued to increase starting in 2014 and the highest number occurred in 2019, namely 49 publications. The most publicized journals that open access to research data management was the Data Science Journal, which was 11 publications. The most productive author of conducting research data management publications was Cox, A.M. and Pinfield, S. The largest institutions contributing to the publication of open access research data management were the University of Toronto and New York University. The countries that contributed the most were the United States with 50 publications, then China with 38 publications. The most open access research data management in the form of articles as many as 107 and 37 conference paper publications. The institutions that provided the most funding sponsors were the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and the National Science Foundation. The results of keyword mapping with VOSViewer showed that big data, research data management, information management, data management, medical research topics, software, information processing, and metadata were the most researched topics
