    Utilization of the Banten Great Mosque Site as Learning Resource in History Subject in Class X in Class X SMAN 1 Pontang

    This research aims to determine the use of the Banten Grand Mosque site as a learning resource in history subjects in Class X of SMAN 1 Pontang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were interview, observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques. When the data was collected, data validity was tested using triangulation. The data technique used is the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results of this research show that the use of the Banten Grand Mosque site as a learning resource was carried out well using the face-to-face method, in which there were three stages in the process, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. From this implementation, weaknesses were obtained both in planning and during implementation. Meanwhile, the advantages obtained are in both the cognitive and affective domains

Archives are important part historical research data, the transformation of archives from manuscripts to digital very necessary. This research uses historical methods with the steps of collecting the researched data, criticizing, interpreting and compiling historical events into stories. Obtain and validate research data, the researcher then conducted field research, namely interviews with museum managers, tour guides, and related agencies. The results the research illustrate that digitalization the most important thing in archive management. Changing the system from manuscript to digital archives can improve creativity, productivity, efficiency, and innovation performance.     The aim of this research is to analyze the challenges and efforts of teachers in developing students' interpersonal communication skills in history learning at SMAN 8 Banjarmasin. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques through the stages of observation, interviews, and document study. Data collection was carried out purposively. Triangulation techniques were used to test the validity of the data. Meanwhile, the data analysis stages are carried out, which include collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and coming to conclusions. As a result of the research, history teachers at SMAN 8 Banjarmasin agreed that interpersonal communication skills are an important element in encouraging activeness in history learning. However, in practice, there are several obstacles such as students' difficulties when expressing ideas, shyness, and lack of confidence in conveying arguments during discussions. Therefore, history teachers try to develop students' interpersonal communication skills by providing examples of good communicators, being attentive listeners, and creating a sense of security and comfort through strengthening literacy

    History Heroism Commander Gocah in the Kingdom of Aru

    The purpose of this study is to find out the history of the commander Gocah of the Aru kingdom. The method used is the historical method. The research results show that the Aru Kingdom is the oldest kingdom in North Sumatra, which has existed on the east coast of North Sumatra Province now since the 13th-16th century AD. The Karo people say that Aru is Aru which comes from the said Karo. This research method uses qualitative techniques with a descriptive approaches to describe the heroic history of Panglima Gocah and the Kingdom of Aru. The results showed that the Clan twins formed the Aru community, which is the Karo community. The Kembaren clan is thought to have originated from Pagaruyung in Minangkabau Land, there are rumors that the Kingdom of Aru and the Kingdom of Pasai (Aceh) often clashed. The Aru attacked Pasai in the early 16th century and massacred a large number of the local population. However, Pasai retaliated against the attack. Aceh was able to penetrate the fortress of the Kingdom of Aru with a series of attacks. Aceh had sent powerful military expeditions to the kingdom of Deli on several occasions to maintain power. In the end, Aceh appointed its commander as Major of the State in an attempt to increase its politics influence and keep Deli from escalating rebellions. It was Seri Paduka Gocah Pahlawan who became this commander, he was a pioneer in the history of the Deli Sultanate

    The Economy of Inland Rejang Bengkulu in the Early 20th Century

    This study aims to examine the Rejang plateau region which became a new economic center in Bengkulu in the early 20th century. This research is a historical research including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. This research uses an economic approach, data collection techniques in this research through literature studies such as tracing archives of colonial government annual reports and literature studies. The results of this study show that the Rejang region became the economic center in Bengkulu because the Rejang region was chosen as the location for the opening of private companies engaged in plantations and mining. Rejang was chosen as the location of private companies in Bengkulu because it has potential, especially favorable geographical factors. The operation of private companies in Rejang had an impact on the construction of increasingly massive roads from the interior region to the city of Bengkulu. Road construction in Rejang has opened up new economic opportunities for the community, such as the formation of markets or small towns and the emergence of new employment opportunities.

    The role and existence of the mass media, especially the print media, in the process and efforts to restore and rebuild the West Sumatra region in the early days of the New Order was very important. The mass media in question are not only those that exist in West Sumatra, but also those published in overseas areas. Among the mass media published and managed by the diaspora (migrants) from Minangkabau is Aneka Minang magazine. This ethnic Minangkabau magazine published in Jakarta is not only circulated in overseas areas, especially Java, but also in West Sumatra itself. By using historical research methods, namely heuristics (source collection), criticism (external and internal), interpretation and historiography (historical writing). The research results reveal the significant role of Aneka Minang magazine as a mass media of Minangkabau people published in overseas areas in assisting the recovery and rebuilding program of West Sumatra after being devastated by the political upheaval of the Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Indonesia (PRRI) and the turbulent transition between the Old Order (Guided Democracy) regime to the New Order in the region

    Donggo Kala People’s Resistance Against the Dutch Government in Bima 1907-1910

    The aim of this research is to find out more about the existence of foreign interference in the life of a society, in this case the interference of the Dutch in the government system of the Bima Sultanate. The research method used is the historical method which includes heuristics (data collection), source criticism, interpretation (interpretation), and historiography (historical writing). The results of the research show that the background to the resistance of the Donggo Kala people was caused by the Dutch starting to exercise political domination, economic exploitation and cultural penetration with the aim being that the Dutch could gain as much profit as possible through collecting various kinds of taxes and employing forced labor. The Donggo Kala people were in the grip of the Dutch colonialists and experienced physical and spiritual torture, resulting in the enthusiasm of the Donggo Kala people to fight against the Dutch. However, the resistance of the Donggo people had a very big impact on both parties, namely the impact that occurred between the Dutch people and the Donggo Kala people. For the leader of Donggo Kala, namely, officially Donggo fell into Dutch hands, while for the Dutch, with the Donggo Kala people's resistance won, the Indies government The Dutch could control directly the entire territory of the Bima Sultanate

    Lieutenant II Muradi and the Guerrilla Struggle Against the Dutch: War Tactics in Military Aggression II in Kerinci (1948-1949)

    After the end of Japanese colonialism in Indonesia, the Dutch wanted to re-colonize Indonesia with the help of the Allies. Indonesia strongly opposed the Dutch plan, so there was great resistance from the Indonesian people and the Dutch began to carry out Military Aggression I and II in various regions, including Kerinci. In the Dutch Military Aggression in Kerinci,  lieutenan II Muradi became a very important figure because he led and organized the guerrilla war strategy against the Dutch. The main focus of this research is to look at the role of  lieutenant II Muradi and the war tactics used with his troops in the face of superior Dutch military strength. The method used in this paper is the historical method. The results show that  lieutenant II Muradi, who came from Koto Tuo Village, Kerinci Regency, completed his education at the SR CVO and the Vocational College in Bengkulu, then became a teacher in Bengkulu. During the Japanese occupation, he was appointed to the Gyugun, or Japanese auxiliary army, with the rank of Sergeant Major. In Dutch Military Aggression II, he led the war using guerrilla tactics, scorched earth tactics, and readiness detection against the Dutch. His contribution to the struggle in Kerinci is highly respected, as evidenced by the establishment of a monument to his struggle in Sungai Penuh City, Kerinci, and the naming of a protocol road in Kerinci Regency

    Development of Kramat Tunggak Localization (1966-1971)

    The problem of prostitution in Jakarta which was increasingly widespread and uncontrolled in the 1960s encouraged the emergence of the idea to build a localization in the Kramat Tunggak area, North Jakarta. In the process of realizing this idea, various dynamics occurred that influenced the development of Kramat Tunggak as the first localization built by the Jakarta government. This article aims to explain the dynamics in the development of the Kramat Tunggak Localization during 1966-1971. Through historical research methods and a structuralist approach by Christopher Lloyd, this article will discuss starting from how prostitution developed in the North Jakarta area in the 1960s, what was the purpose of Ali Sadikin in initiating the development of the localization and why Kramat Tunggak was chosen as the area for the establishment of the Jakarta localization and how the implementation process of Kramat Tunggak as the first localization in the Jakarta area. In this study, it was concluded that the establishment of the Kramat Tunggak Localization not only gave rise to pros and cons in society, but after the completion of the Kramat Tunggak Localization, it encouraged the growth of settlements, infrastructure and economic activities of the community around the localization and succeeded in localizing prostitution practices in Jakarta
