    Development of Discovery Learning-Based History E-Modules in Class XI History Learning at the Senior High School Level

    This research aims to develop a learning media in the form of a discovery learning-based history e- module in grade XI history learning at the high school level. This type of research is Research and Development (research and development). The development model used is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of this study indicate that the e-modules developed are valid and practical with details: First, the material in the e-module developed is categorized as very valid with a percentage of 95.2%. In the media aspect, it got a very valid category with a percentage of validity reaching 93.6% and the validity of the language aspect also got a very valid category with a percentage of validity of 94.6%. Second, the developed history e-module is in the very practical category with a final score percentage of 85.33% and 89.80%, respectively obtained from the analysis of teacher and learner practicality questionnaire data. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the discovery learning-based history e-module in class XI history learning at the high school level developed is feasible to use in the learning process

    Model of Islamic History Learning in Majelis Taklim in Indonesia As-Syafi’iyah

    This research aims to describe the communication models and teaching methods used by the ustaz in delivering religious material in majelis taklim. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, with data obtained from interviews, observations, and literature review, namely The method of da'wah such as hikmah emphasizes wisdom in delivering messages, adjusting the delivery method to the context and characteristics of the message recipients, while mujadalah involves constructive discussions and dialogues to clarify and strengthen arguments, often in the context of debates and disagreements. This was used long before mau'idhah hasanah became the main focus of this method, delivering teachings with a gentle and wise approach, and tailored to the characteristics of the audience. And mau’idhah hasanah has been used since the time of the Prophethood, initially to convey teachings to the community and the early spread of Islam. after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was appointed as a messenger, and it was used and developed during the Mecca and Medina periods

    Religious Life of the Mototonan Community of the Mentawai Islands (1997-2023)

    This research examines religious life in Matotonan Village, Mentawai Islands, from 1997 to 2023, focusing on the relationship between Muslim and Christian communities and the traditional Arat Sabulungan activities. The Matotonan community exhibits a peaceful, respectful, and cooperative religious life. Tolerance is reflected in collective efforts to build public facilities, social gatherings, and mutual respect in practicing their faiths. Arat Sabulungan activities, known as Liat Pulaggajat, involve all villagers regardless of religion, where Muslims and Christians mingle. Although they do not meet during religious rituals, this does not lead to conflict. Social tolerance is evident in important ceremonies such as births, deaths, and marriages, which involve mutual aid and cooperation. In conclusion, harmonious religious life has been well-established in Matotonan since before 1997, with the community united in social interactions despite religious differences

    Analysis of Factors Influencing Learning Difficulties in History in Grade X Students at Nurul Amaliyah Private Senior High School Tanjung Morawa

    This study aims to identify the factors that cause the learning difficulties of history class X students at SMA Swasta Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa, which is motivated by the low interest and achievement of student learning, coupled with the students' assumption that history is a boring subject. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that the obstacles in learning history consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors include lack of motivation to learn, negative views of history subjects, low academic achievement, lack of confidence, and inconsistent learning patterns. Meanwhile, external factors include influences from the family and peer environment, the limited ability of teachers to manage learning, teaching methods that are less varied, limited learning media, and lack of available learning resources. Based on these findings, innovations are needed in the history learning process, such as the utilization of interactive learning media, contextual approaches, and increased active student participation to create more interesting and effective learning

    The tradition of proposing in Jambi Malay wedding customs is an important aspect that reflects social, religious, and cultural norms passed down through generations. In Jambi Malay culture, proposing is not only the initial process leading to marriage but also solidifies relationships between families and the community. This study aims to explain the origins of the proposing tradition, its processes, and the meaning of each stage. The historical research methods used include heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study show that the proposing tradition in Jambi Malay wedding customs includes various official processes with profound meanings. Based on interviews with traditional leaders, community members, and literature analysis, it was found that this tradition is regulated according to Islamic teachings, as expressed in the Jambi Malay proverb "Adat menurun, Syarat mendaki, Adat bersendi syarak, Syarak bersendikan kitabullah." This emphasizes that customary rules and Islamic law go hand in hand, with religious prohibitions also being customary prohibitions.

    The Role of Interactive Digital Media in Enhancing Conceptual Understanding of History in Secondary Schools

    History learning in secondary schools often faces challenges, such as low student interest and limited understanding of abstract and chronological concepts. This study aims to examine the role of interactive digital media in improving students' conceptual understanding of history based on findings from previous studies. The research employed a literature review approach, gathering relevant scholarly articles, journals, and research reports related to history education and the use of digital media. The findings indicate that interactive digital media, including historical simulations, interactive quizzes, and visual animations, can enhance students’ conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and engagement in the learning process. These results underscore the importance of integrating digital media as an innovative instructional strategy that supports the development of students’ critical thinking and analytical skills. This study recommends the systematic implementation of interactive digital media within the history curriculum to foster more engaging and effective learning experiences

    This study aims to explain history of the role of the KUD of three Sekawan in the welfare of the palm oil farmer community in the village of Pulau Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province. The role in question is through the KKPA program that partnered with PT Citra Mulia Manunggal during 2012-2023. The methods used in this study are historical scientific methods, including: Heuristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation and Historiography. Based on the results of the research conducted, it is known that the KKPA program that was held by KUD three Sekawan had not been able to encourage the welfare of oil palm farmers in the village of Pulau Batanghari Jambi Regency during 2012-2023. This is because in the implementation of the KKPA, problems were encountered, including: The absence of transparency of fund management and publication distribution of business results carried out by the KUD management to cooperative members. The unclear distribution of results and the period of land surrender to cooperatives as a form of partner cooperation with PT. Citra Mulia is also not in accordance with the agreement. For this reason, further supervision is needed from all parties involved in its implementation

    This article aims to: (1) Explain the emergence of Bumiputera press, (2) Explain the struggle of the Indonesian national movement in the early 20th century, (3) Explain the role of Bumiputera Press in the Indonesian national movement. The author uses methods in historical research that consist of several stages, namely: collecting sources, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this article indicate that: (1) The emergence of Bumiputera press was supported by the development of education in the Dutch East Indies, (2) The emergence of educated people became the driving force behind the birth of the Indonesian national movement, (3) Bumiputera Press served as a tool to voice the interests of the people against the injustices of colonial and feudal rulers and as a medium of provocation to awaken the courage of the common people against the ruling groups

    The Influence of Intermarriage (Java-Lampung) on Social Change in the Community in Gunung Sugih Village

    The aim of the research is to analyze Javanese and Lampung traditional marriages in Gunung Sugih Village, the factors that cause intermarriage, the implementationprocess, and the social changes that arise in society. The method used in this researchis qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The subjects used in thisresearch were traditional leaders from the Lampung tribe, husband and wife couplesinvolved in intermarriage (amalgamation), Javanese people. Data collectiontechniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation.Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing, presenting data anddrawing conclusions. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that (1)Javanese and Lampung traditional marriages in Gunung Sugih Village, Gunung SugihDistrict, Central Lampung Regency, still maintain their respective traditions eventhough there are stages of Javanese customs that are not used. (2) The factors thatcause intermarriage to occur are feelings of love and a sense of compatibility,education, local environment and work. (3) The process includes pre-wedding,implementation and post-wedding stages, which combine the traditions of both tribes.(4) The social changes that occur include changes in social structure and kinshipintegration, changes in language and communication and marriage customs

    This study discusses the History and Impact of Covid-19 on Culinary Tourism Nasi Sek at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City: Pondok Salero Ibu Ina (1987-2020). The problems of this research are: how was the early history of selling Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina as a culinary tour at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City (1987-2020), and how did the Covid-19 outbreak affect Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina. The purpose of this study is to determine the early history of selling Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina as a culinary tour at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City (1987-2020), and to determine the effect of the Covid-19 outbreak on Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina. The research method used in this study is the Historical Research Method, this method is divided into four stages: 1) Heuristics, 2) Source Criticism, 3) Interpretation, 4) Historiography. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: 1) the early history of starting to sell and the development of Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina as a culinary tour at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City (1987-2020). Because Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina is often visited by visitors from various regions outside Pariaman City and this Nasi Sek is also a typical culinary of Pariaman City to be tasted. 2) The Impact of the Covid-19 Outbreak on Nasi Sek Pondok Salero Ibu Ina. Because the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak has been felt by various groups in society which has caused economic life to decline
