This study aims to analyze the competence of teachers who have a non-linear educational background with the subject of Biology in the context of learning in schools. The research was conducted in a madrasah involving a biology teacher and 24 tenth-grade students as respondents. The method used is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approaches through interviews and questionnaires. The results of the questionnaire showed that, in general, the competence of biology teachers with inappropriate educational backgrounds was considered quite good by students, with an average percentage of 72.9% in the good category. However, it was found that there was a tendency that students to feel more helped, motivated, and understand the material better when learning was carried out by teachers who had a background in biology education. Teachers with appropriate educational backgrounds are considered superior in terms of mastery of materials, implementation of practicums, the use of teaching aids, and learning approaches that are relevant to the characteristics of science. These findings show the importance of the suitability of teachers' educational backgrounds to the subjects taught, especially in concept-based and practice-based learning. Even if teachers with inappropriate backgrounds still show proper competence, continuous professional development efforts are needed to improve the quality of equal learning

This research seeks to analyze and clarify the mediating effect of destination image on he connection between electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) and the likelihood of visiting is being among potential tourists of Kampung Majapahit Tourism Village, Mojokerto. A quantitative associative–causal approach was applied, employing purposive sampling to select respondents who had viewed information, comments, or reviews about the destination on Instagram or Google Maps but had not yet visited in person. The minimum required sample size was calculated using 10 times rule, resulting in 50 participants, and further validated with a G*Power analysis that suggested 68 participants. To ensure sufficient representation, the final sample consisted of 100 respondents. Data was gathered using an online survey created with Google Forms. Participants evaluated the statements on a five-point Likert scale ranging from complete disagreement to complete agreement. Data analysis was conducted employing the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) method in SmartPLS 4, encompassing both measurement and structural model assessments. The research demonstrates that electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) substantially improves perceptions of a destination, which in turn encourages people to visit, and also directly motivates travel intentions. Moreover, the impact of electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) on the intention to visit a place is, to some extent, explained by the image that place creates in people’s minds. Within the framework of cultural tourism, these findings highlight the need to enhance digital communication strategies and refine destination image in order to encourage more prospective tourists to make a visit

This study analyzes the implementation of the Regional Government Credit Card (KKPD) in the management of petty cash funds at the Regional Secretariat of Magelang City. The primary issue identified is the lack of integration between KKPD transaction records and the Regional Government Information System (SIPD), as well as the complexity of administrative procedures associated with KKPD usage. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and guided by policy implementation theory, this research conducted in-depth interviews with nine key informants, including finance staff, division heads, and system administrators directly involved in KKPD management. The findings indicate that the KKPD has been fully implemented across all divisions since 2026, offering advantages such as transaction flexibility, convenience in expenditure, and automatic billing recapitulation from the bank. Despite these benefits, challenges persist, notably the complex registration process and continued reliance on manual transaction recording. This study recommends the development of an integrated information system to connect KKPD transactions with SIPD, thereby enhancing efficiency and accountability in public financial management

In the last decade, Indonesia has faced the problem of extremism and radicalism. The strengthening of these two ideologies is driven by a pattern of thinking that is exclusive, closed, and intolerant of religious texts. This radicalism and extremism ideology has infiltrated in various forms and modus operandi, ultimately targeting young people in Islamic boarding schools, universities, schools, and even tahfiz houses. This ideology is better known as the Salafi group, which understands Islam exclusively, textually, and intolerantly, because its understanding of the verses of the Quran is not deeply understood. This community service activity aims to address this by providing support to the Bustanqu Institute in Merjosari, Malang. The goal is to reduce intolerant attitudes toward religion and to help students understand the Quran through the Inclusive Verse Literacy Program. This community service method uses Participatory Action Research, which, in the future, is expected to create a community of students at the Bustanqu Tahfidz House with an inclusive and tolerant national and Islamic perspective. The results of this mentoring program include changes in the students of the Bustanqu Tahfidz House in their understanding of the Koran's verses in a deep, non-textual way, as well as visible changes in their attitudes toward being moderate, tolerant, and gentle in their religious life

The program to assist in the processing of Lantung oil into diesel fuel and asphalt, implemented by KKN Group 02 STAI Darussalam in Lerpak Village, Geger Subdistrict, Bangkalan Regency, aims to optimize the use of local natural resources while promoting the economic empowerment of the village community. Lantung oil, which has traditionally been used in a traditional manner, has great potential to be developed into an economically valuable product through a simple distillation process. The activities were carried out using a participatory and sustainable approach, including internal planning, coordination with the village government and community, technical capacity building through study visits, hands-on oil processing, product testing, socialization, and program evaluation. The results of the activities show that Lantung oil can be processed into several fractions, mainly diesel fuel and asphalt, which can technically be used as diesel engine fuel and road hardening material. Field trials have proven that the product functions well, while socialization activities have increased community knowledge, participation, and awareness of work safety and the economic potential of Lantung oil. In addition, the involvement of BUMDes Lerpak as a marketing partner strengthened the institutional and sustainability aspects of the program. Overall, this activity successfully transformed local knowledge into productive practices with added value and has the potential to be developed as a model for village community empowerment based on local natural resources

One of the key elements in education is student learning motivation. Learning motivation is an important factor influencing student success in the learning process. This study aims to examine the application of the Team Games Tournament learning model in improving student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the Team Games Tournament model was effective in increasing student learning motivation, as seen from increased student participation, enthusiasm, and enjoyment during learning. Students became more motivated because the learning process was presented in a fun, challenging way, and actively involved all group members. However, several challenges were identified, such as students' unpreparedness in facing competitive situations and diverse academic abilities within the group. Therefore, the Team Games Tournament model is effective in improving student learning motivation, especially when implemented with strategies that consider students' mental and academic readiness. It is hoped that this study can serve as a reference and basis for further research with a focus on improving the implementation of the Team Games Tournament model more optimally, such as developing tournament variations that are friendly to anxious students, and integrating Team Games Tournament with other learning models for different subjects
