    The Implementation of School Regulations in Forming the Disciplined Character of Class X Students at SMK Satria Bhakti Nganjuk

    This study aims to describe and explain the implementation of school rules in shaping the disciplinary character of tenth-grade students at SMK Satria Bhakti Nganjuk, as well as to analyze the outcomes of its implementation on changes in student behavior. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. The data analysis technique used in this study follows the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data were analyzed comprehensively and supported with triangulation. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of school rules that are educative, participatory, and model-based is effective in fostering students’ disciplinary awareness through value habituation, guidance, and moral reflection. Student discipline improved particularly in the aspects of punctuality, wearing uniforms in accordance with regulations, and complying with school policies. This study emphasizes that school rules have the potential to serve as an effective form of character education for developing student discipline when managed consistently and integrated into the school culture

    Education is the foundation that connects knowledge about nutrition and parenting with concrete actions in everyday life. With quality education, we can create a healthy, intelligent generation that is better able to face future challenges. Based on the results of observations in the Nglele village community, especially with one of the integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres in Nglele Village, there is a problem of stunting in Nglele Village, due to several factors, one of which is the lack of insight into the importance of maintaining a balanced diet for the baby. The purpose of this socialization of the importance of balanced nutrition and parenting is to improve the quality of nutrition towards a superior generation in Nglele Village. The methods used in this service are socialization and mentoring methods. Based on the results and discussions of the implementation of community service activities with the socialization of "The Importance of Balanced Nutrition and Parenting as an Effort to Prevent Stunting" in Nglele Village, Sumobito, Jombang, it was concluded that the socialization activity successfully increased community knowledge about the importance of balanced nutrition and the dangers of stunting. Most participants showed high enthusiasm and a good understanding of the material presented. There are indications of behavioral changes in eating patterns and family parenting patterns

    Penguatan Literasi Digital melalui Workshop Media Pembelajaran Interaktif di SDN Budugsidorejo Sumobito Jombang

    Pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis digital terbukti mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa serta membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi dengan lebih variative. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar melalui workshop pemanfaatan media pembelajaran interaktif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SDN Budugsidorejo, Jombang, dengan melibatkan 35 siswa kelas IV sampai VI. Materi workshop meliputi pengertian dan manfaat literasi digital, etika bermedia digital, penggunaan gadget secara bijak, serta cara menjaga keamanan digital. Sebagai luaran utama, program ini memperkenalkan aplikasi pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris “SiDino” yang dikembangkan oleh tim KKN. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang literasi digital serta motivasi untuk menggunakan teknologi secara produktif dalam pembelajaran. Program ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan keterampilan literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar serta menghadirkan media pembelajaran berkelanjutan di sekolah

    Literasi Digital untuk Pencegahan Bullying dan Pembentukan Karakter Siswa

    The development of information and communication technology has led to the increasing use of social media among elementary school students. This condition poses serious challenges, particularly regarding low levels of digital literacy and the prevalence of bullying behavior, both directly and through social media (cyberbullying). This community service program aims to improve students’ digital literacy, especially in understanding morals and ethics in using social media. The program was carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation, targeting fourth to sixth-grade students. The partner in this activity was SDN Talun Kidul, involving the principal and teachers. The results of the program indicate positive changes among students. After the activity, students were able to distinguish between good and bad behavior, reduce the use of negative language, demonstrate mutual respect, and show the courage to reprimand peers engaged in bullying. The program concluded with an anti-bullying declaration as a collective commitment to creating a safe and conducive school environment. Thus, digital literacy socialization has proven effective in fostering students’ wisdom, empathy, and social responsibility. This program is recommended to be implemented sustainably by involving students, teachers, parents, and schools to build a positive culture in the use of social media

    Developing PowerPoint-Based Learning Media to Improve Student Learning Comprehension

    Learning is a process in which students interact with educators and various learning resources in an environment that supports learning activities. This research is motivated by the challenges in learning Aqidah Akhlak at Islamic Junior High School Rahmat Said Bongkot Peterongan, where students often experience difficulties in understanding the material and low interest in learning due to the use of learning media that are less creative and monotonous. The main objective of this research is to develop an effective PowerPoint-based interactive learning media to improve student understanding. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model approach. The validation results show that the media is very valid with an average acceptance rate of Aqidah Akhlak teachers of 93.7% and ICT teachers of 81.8%. In addition to validation, this media was also tested for practicality and was declared practical with an assessment of 88.8% from Aqidah Akhlak teachers. The effectiveness test was conducted on 29 eighth-grade students, and the results showed that 26 students (89.6%) succeeded in achieving learning completion, which is included in the "very good" category. The student response questionnaire also showed a positive response to the use of this media. Thus, it can be concluded that this PowerPoint-based interactive learning media is highly effective and suitable for use in teaching aqidah and akhlak. This media has been proven to increase student understanding and interest in learning, thus providing an innovative solution to address existing learning challenges

    Can EWS, Altman, and Ohlson Models Comparatively Predict PT Garuda Indonesia’s Distress?

    This study aims to compare three bankruptcy prediction models—Early Warning System (EWS), Altman Z-Score, and Ohlson O-Score—in detecting early bankruptcy risk at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk during the 2020–2024 period. The research method employed is a quantitative descriptive comparative approach using secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the form of annual financial reports. The analysis was conducted by calculating financial ratios and applying the three models to assess the predictive accuracy level of each. The results of the study show that the EWS model has the highest accuracy rate in detecting financial distress conditions at PT Garuda Indonesia, reaching 100%, followed by the Altman Z-Score model at 80% and the Ohlson O-Score model at 60%. These findings indicate that the EWS model is more sensitive to changes in financial ratios, particularly liquidity and solvency ratios, making it more relevant for the aviation sector, which is characterized by high-cost structures and a strong dependence on operational cash flow stability. The comparison among the three models also emphasizes that the choice of prediction model should align with industry characteristics to ensure more valid results. This research is expected to serve as a reference for management, investors, and regulators in monitoring corporate financial stability and strengthening bankruptcy risk mitigation policies in the future

    Design And Implementation of a Short Message Delivery System Using LoRa Technology

    This study presents the design and development of a short message communication system capable of operating in areas without internet connectivity by leveraging LoRa (Long Range) technology. LoRa was selected due to its extended coverage and energy efficiency, making it well-suited for deployment in remote regions. The proposed system integrates ESP32-based transmitter and receiver nodes with the LoRa RA-01 module as the communication medium. A mobile application is developed to provide a user-friendly interface for composing and displaying messages, while an SQLite database is utilized for storing communication records locally. System development follows the Waterfall model, covering requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Experimental results demonstrate that the system successfully transmits and receives messages up to a distance of 100 meters without internet connectivity. The solution offers a practical and efficient alternative for wireless communication, particularly for delivering critical information in areas underserved by conventional telecommunication infrastructure

    The advancement of knowledge closely linked to technological progress imposes a demand on countries to enhance the quality of their human resources (HR). In Indonesia, as a developing nation, the abundance of human resources requires an elevation in quality to remain competitive on a global scale. Improving the national education quality, particularly in mathematics, emerges as a strategic step in nurturing a competitive HR. Mathematics plays a pivotal role in equipping students with logical, analytical, and creative thinking skills, as well as collaborative abilities. However, the results of the 2018 PISA survey indicate a low level of mathematical literacy in Indonesia. Factors such as students' weak mathematical reasoning, insufficient practice in problem-solving, and a mismatch between test materials and the curriculum are major contributors to the poor performance in mathematical literacy. The significance of mathematical literacy is reflected in five competencies that students should possess, all of which support mathematical literacy. Mathematical literacy functions in applying mathematical knowledge in the context of everyday life, aligning with the demands of an ever-evolving era. To achieve the goal of mathematics education that aligns with the demands of mathematical literacy, attention is required towards content, processes, and context in mathematics learning. Hence, efforts to enhance the quality of mathematics education in Indonesia should consider these aspects to foster competent students capable of facing the challenges of the modern world

    Efektivitas Sosialisasi Pengelolaan Sampah dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat di RT 03/RW 002 Kelurahan Bahagia

    ABSTRACT Waste management is a complex environmental issue that requires special attention, especially at the community level. The main obstacles to creating a clean and healthy environment are the low public awareness and the lack of facilities and government support. The purpose of this study is to find out how effective waste management socialization is in increasing public awareness in RT 03/RW 002, Kelurahan Bahagia. A descriptive quantitative method was used, consisting of three main stages: initial observation, information-sharing through a forum with the local women’s religious group (majelis taklim), and providing trash bins as a form of real support. The results show that the community has changed the way they dispose of household waste. The success of the program was influenced by a communicative and participatory approach, as well as the availability of proper facilities. This socialization proves that proper education and supporting facilities can encourage a shift in public mindset towards better and more sustainable waste management. ABSTRAK Pengelolaan sampah adalah masalah lingkungan yang kompleks yang memerlukan perhatian khusus, terutama di tingkat komunitas. Hambatan utama untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat adalah rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat, serta kurangnya fasilitas dan bantuan pemerintah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif sosialisasi pengelolaan sampah dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat di RT 03/RW 002 Kelurahan Bahagia. Metode kuantitatif deskriptif digunakan, yang terdiri dari tiga tahap utama: observasi awal, pertukaran informasi melalui forum ibuibu majelis taklim, dan penyediaan tempat sampah sebagai bentuk dukungan nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat telah mengubah cara mereka menyingkirkan sampah rumah tangga. Pendekatan sosialisasi yang komunikatif dan partisipatif serta ketersediaan sarana yang memadai memengaruhi keberhasilan program ini. Sosialisasi ini menegaskan bahwa edukasi yang tepat dan fasilitas pendukung yang tersedia mampu mendorong perubahan pola pikir masyarakat menuju pengelolaan sampah yang lebih baik dan berkelanjutan.     Jembatan Komunikasi Visual Publik Melalui Running Text di Balai Desa Segodorejo

    The rapid development of information technology has encouraged local governments, including village administrations, to adopt digital media for improving public communication. Segodorejo Village faced challenges in disseminating information, such as limited media access, low transparency, and ineffective public meetings. To address these issues, a community service program was implemented by installing a running text display at the Segodorejo Village Hall. The method included planning, installation, training, and evaluation involving village officials as direct beneficiaries. The results showed that the running text facilitated real-time information delivery, enhanced transparency, improved meeting effectiveness, and increased the digital capacity of village officials. Additionally, a manual book was provided as a practical guide to ensure sustainability. This initiative successfully contributed to strengthening the digital transformation of village governance toward a smart village concept
