The use of wheat flour continues to dominate the Indonesian food industry despite growing dependency on imports. To reduce this reliance, mocaf (Modified Cassava Flour) offers a promising local alternative with similar characteristics to wheat flour. This study investigates the effect of adding celery (Apium graveolens L.) to the organoleptic properties of mocaf-based wonton filling, including aspects of color, aroma, taste, and texture. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments: P (2 g celery), Q (4 g celery), and R (6 g celery) per 500 g dough. A descriptive qualitative method and ANOVA followed by LSD (Least Significant Difference) test were used for data analysis. Results showed that treatment R (6 g celery) yielded the most favorable sensory outcomes with color 4.60, aroma 5.12, taste 4.89, and texture 4.65. The addition of 6 g celery provided a distinctive green color, strong aroma, pleasant taste, and soft texture without mushiness, significantly improving the organoleptic properties (p<0.05)

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the national economy, including in Karangasem Regency, Bali. One active business player in this region is UD. Kusuma Bali Mandiri, Karangasem Branch, which is facing challenges in preparing financial reports in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK EP). The Association Between Training Perceptions and Self-Reported Performance: A Case Study of Social Forestry Employees in Indonesia

    Get PDF
This study examines the association between training perceptions and employee performance in a social forestry administration in Indonesia. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey was conducted at the Balai Perhutanan Sosial dan Kemitraan Lingkungan Sulawesi, Section One, Bili-Bili, Gowa, involving all forty employees who had participated in formal training programs. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and supported by brief interviews and document review. Results indicate generally favorable perceptions of training and high self-reported performance levels. Regression analysis shows a strong positive correlation between training and performance, suggesting that well-delivered and relevant training is associated with higher perceived effectiveness, timeliness, and initiative. However, as the data are cross-sectional and self-reported from a single organization, causality cannot be inferred. The findings are preliminary and should be interpreted as indicative rather than conclusive. They highlight potential areas for further investigation on how communicative instruction, relevant materials, and interactive methods contribute to improved workplace outcomes. Future research employing longitudinal and multi-source designs is needed to verify these relationships and support evidence-based policy development in public sector training

Risk and Benefit Analysis of Unsecured and Non-Contractual Lending Practices in the KOBATEKSI Cooperative: A Legal and Economic Perspective

    Get PDF
This study examines the practice of providing unsecured loans without written agreements at KOBATEKSI Cooperative, which operates based on social solidarity in Jombang. The research highlights the tension between social values, legal certainty, and financial risk management. Internal data and interviews indicate high economic risk (NPL increased from 14% to 27% between 2022–2024) and legal risk due to the absence of formal contracts. Findings suggest that trust-based strategies are effective in small communities but insufficient as the cooperative expands. The study recommends governance reforms through simple written agreements, risk-based loan SOPs, enhanced legal and financial literacy for members, and internal mediation mechanisms. This approach aims to balance social inclusion principles with legal certainty to ensure cooperative sustainability

Web-Based E-Learning System Optimization for SMA Negeri Ploso

    Get PDF
This research focuses on enhancing education at SMA Negeri Ploso by creating a web-based e-learning platform that offers organized access to educational resources, tasks, tests, and interaction between educators and students. The platform was developed to overcome the drawbacks of traditional teaching methods by providing more flexibility, easier access, and improved efficiency for both in-person and remote learning experiences. A qualitative methodology was used in conjunction with a development process that involved analyzing requirements, designing the system, implementing it, and conducting testing. The platform utilizes a structured access model based on user roles for administrators, educators, and students, allowing each group to execute specific functions aligned with their duties. Administrators handle user information, course management, and feedback, educators can upload and oversee educational content and assess students' work, while students can view course materials, turn in assignments, and check their grades. During the testing phase, it was confirmed that all primary functions worked properly and delivered accurate outcomes as designed. The user interface was crafted to be straightforward, easy to navigate, and usable on multiple devices including laptops, desktops, and smartphones. The launch of this web-based e-learning system significantly enhanced the adaptability and effectiveness of the educational process and has the potential for future developments such as incorporating online quizzes, automated feedback, and communication tools to further improve the learning journey

Implementation of Automatic Lamp Using Arduino with PIR Sensor

    Get PDF
This research aims to design and implement an automatic lamp control system using Arduino and Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors to reduce electrical energy waste due to human negligence. The system uses two PIR sensors placed in sequence at the entrance to detect human movement and determine the direction of entry or exit. Arduino Uno is used as the microcontroller to process sensor inputs and control the relay that switches the AC lamp on or off. The testing results show that the system works effectively in distinguishing between entry and exit movements. The PIR sensors perform optimally at a distance of 1–2 meters with a response time of less than 500 ms and reliability reaching 100%. The system successfully saves energy by ensuring that the lamp only lights up when someone is inside the room and turns off automatically when the room is empty
