Utilization of Online Learning Media Platforms During the Pandemic Covid-19
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the online learning media platform used in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at MTsN 3 Jombang. This research method is a qualitative research approach based on the philosophy of postpositivism. The data collection technique in this study used triangulation techniques and the results of qualitative research data analysis emphasized meaning rather than generalization. Retrieval of data source informants carried out purposive and snowball. The results of the research were then discussed through a literature review of relevant references and research findings so that several platforms were found that were used at MTsN 3 Jombang during online learning, namely Google Classroom, Google Form, Quizizz, Whatsapp, and Youtube. The results of this study are an increase in student learning outcomes during online learning and teachers at MTsN 3 Jombang state that an effective platform for online learning at MTsN 3 Jombang is Google Classroom

Multicultural Based Character Education at The Tebuireng Jombang Islamic Boarding School

Islamic boarding school as an educational institution that has a history of nation-building in Indonesia, of course can be a forum in implementing multicultural education in the face of diversity. This paper describes the multicultural education at Islamic boarding school as a strategy to fostering the social soul in diversity. In its implementation does not distinguish from each other ranging from groups such as gender, ethnicity, race, culture, social background through treatment. Multicultural education has been stressed to the students in order to develop the potential and capacity to the maximum as it requires no special space in themselves and their environtment. This study uses data collection techniques with interviews and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School has implemented multicultural education. These activities include a study of the book of adab alim wal muta’allim, ORDA (Regional organization in Islamic boarding schools), basic characters in Tebuireng Islamic Boarding Schools, the culture of queuing for students, attitudes of Tebuireng Islamic Boarding Schools towards non-Muslims, and tawadhu attitudes of students towards non-Muslim guests
Development of Qurdio as a Media for Learning Al Qur'an Hadith for Class IX Students of MTs Nizhamiyah Ploso
Get PDFThis study aims to develop learning media in the form of video animation. For the presentation of the material using the subjects of Al-Qur'an Hadith, class IX students of Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso. The development of learning media using the Kinemaster Application as a medium for making video animations of the Qur'an Hadith. The learning media trial was conducted by class IX students of Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso with a small group trial of 5 students, and a large group trial of 25 students. This research method uses development research which is usually abbreviated as R&D, by applying several stages, namely first potential and problem analysis, second data collection, third product design, fourth design validation, fifth design improvement, sixth product trial, seventh product revision. The results of trials and product feasibility conducted by students and validators. Feasibility of the product obtained a score of 77.78% from media experts, and product feasibility from material experts obtained a score of 74.06%. The small group trial obtained an average score of 72%, and the large group obtained an average score of 75%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of video animation is very interesting and suitable to be used to help students learn in class IX Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso

Diversity Tree Varieties Mango (Mangifera indica L.) in Critical Areas
Get PDFCritical land is often a problem in various regions in Indonesia, especially in the Jombang district. Various efforts have been made by the community in tackling the critical land they face. One of them is by cultivating mango trees. In the Jombang district, there are quite a lot of mango trees with various varieties. This study aims to determine the diversity and dominance of mango varieties growing on critical land in Plandaan District, Jombang Regency. This research was conducted by purposive sampling in 3 villages with a total sample of 30 yards/gardens, based on the availability of data and information in the field. This research was conducted using a quadratic transect method by determining the research location by purposive sampling with a plot size (20x20 m2). Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Quantitative data analysis using vegetation analysis, namely: density (Kr), Frequency (Fr) Important Value Index (INP), Dominance (C), and Diversity Index (Ĥ). From the results of the study, it was found that 7 varieties of mango were planted by the community on critical land in the Plandaan District, the mango that was most widely cultivated by the community was the Gadung mango. The existence of other varieties of mango is only found in very small quantities and has begun to be abandoned by the community
A Tree Inventory in The Homegarden at The Tambakrejo Village, Jombang Regency
Get PDFBiodiversity has many variations in shape, appearance, number and characteristics that are seen in improving ecosystems, species levels and genetic levels. The homegarden can create environmental conservation, especially local trees. Tambakrejo Village is an example of an urban area located in Jombang District with the highest population density of 6.88 people/km2 with a population of 12,279 people. This study aimed to determined the types of trees in the homegarden area of Tambakrejo Village, Jombang Regency. Data collection was carried out by observing each type of tree in 68 observation sample plots in the Tambakrejo Village homegarden area. The results of the observations found 414 tree species that belong into 26 types of families. Most of these tree species came from the Anacanrdiaceae family as many as 91 tree species
