Mathematic Learning Using Discovery Learning Model to Improve Students' Critical Thinking Skills
Get PDFThis study was conducted with the aim of knowing the process and effect of discovery learning to improve critical thinking skills of Vocational School NU Al-Hidayah students as many as 10 students for test questions and 21 students for the application of learning using the discovery learning model. In this study, the teaching module was prepared using the discovery learning model which consisted of 6 learning syntaxes and was conducted for 2 meetings. The research method used is a pre-experimental design with the type of one-group pretes-posttes design and uses a quantitative research approach. The test instrument was in the form of pretest and posttest description questions to measure students' critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing. However, before testing the hypothesis, the data obtained was first tested for normality. Based on the results of the data normality test with Shapiro-Wilk, the pretest results have a significance value of 0.113 and the posttest results have a significance value of 0.253. The normality test is normal. Based on the paired sample t-test calculation, it shows that the t value is 0.000 with a significance of 0.000. The significance value shows 0.000 < the error rate of 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Acceptance of Ha means that there is a positive influence on the critical thinking skills of students in class X APHP Vocational School NU Al- Hidayah after applying the paired sample t-test
Children Learning in Science Model Integrated with Project-Based Worksheets on Students' Science Process Skills
Get PDFThe research aims to determine the effect of the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model integrated with project-based worksheets on students' Science Process Skills (SPS). The approach in this study is a quantitative with a quasi-experimental research type using the Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population is fifth-grade students of SDN 3 Parepare, and the sample used in this study were all students in class V.1 as an experimental class and class V.3 as a control class. Data were obtained by an essay SPS test. The data analysis used was the Independent Sample T-test. The results showed that in the experimental class, in addition to being guided by project-based worksheets, each learning syntax has directed students to carry out project completion procedures using their SPS, such as observing, concluding, classifying, making predictions, and communicating the results. Based on the inferential statistical analysis with the T-Test, it produces a Sig value (2tailed) = 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. Thus, there is a difference in SPS in the control and experimental classes. The conclusion is that there is an influence of the CLIS learning model of project-based worksheets on students' SPS

One of the increasingly popular communication media is Running Text, or what is often called running text. The work program for making Running Text is a program that is part of the community service program. The purpose of this program is to optimize the use of technology and increase the use of technology in the daily lives of village communities, encouraging adaptation to increasingly rapid digital developments. There is also a reason why the work program for making Running Text is as a digital clock and display of village hall information, so that the wider community can obtain information about the existence of the Manungal village hall. The flexibility of using Running Text, which is updated in real time and can be adjusted to the needs of the main hall, makes it a flexible medium for various types of information, from routine announcements to urgent notifications. The method applied in this service includes three main stages, namely design, implementation, and evaluation. Design is the process of work or design used to design a design object. In designing Running Text, the first step is to identify the main purpose of the information to be conveyed. Running Text is used to convey short and precise information. The sentences used must be short but informative, and use language that is easily understood by the community. The implementation of this community service program has succeeded in achieving the desired goals. The following are some of the results that have been achieved in the implementation of this community service program: Increasing Access to Information, Utilization of Digital Technology, Cost Savings by the village hall, and Increasing Time Awareness

No full textThe limited understanding of village officials in Ngampel Village, Ngusikan District, Jombang Regency, regarding the development and utilization of the Village Information System (SID) is caused by limited human resource support and minimal facilities and infrastructure available. This condition has an impact on the low awareness of village officials regarding the importance of utilizing the village website as a tool for disseminating information. Until now, the knowledge of village officials regarding the creation and management of websites is still very limited, so that the dissemination of information through this platform has not been optimal. In this community service activity, a research team from KH. A. Wahab Hasbulloh University also designed a website for Ngampel Village and provided training to village officials to improve their ability to manage the Village Information System (SID) effectively. The main objective of this activity is to increase accessibility and socialization of village programs and information. The approach used involves the application of appropriate technology through training and management of the SID website. The results of this activity include the creation of the Village Information System (SID) website and a significant increase in the skills of village officials in managing the website
Inovasi Singkong SnacKarang untuk Penguatan UMKM dan Ekonomi Desa Petahunan
Get PDFCassava is a tuber crop that can easily be found in community land, especially in rural areas. Petahunan village has abundant cassava agricultural products but its utilization is still limited to traditional products with low economic. Community Service through Real Work Lecture (KKN) from Institute Technology and Business Widya Gama Lumajang aims to improve the skills and economic independence of village communities through innovation of processed products made from cassava. The program is carried out with an integrated training approach that includes the provision of tools and materials as well as direct practice in making processed products. The target of this activity is housewives and micro-entrepreneurs who have high enthusiasm in developing local businesses. Innovation is focused on making a snack product called Snackarang, which is a snack made from cassava that is processed by grating it lengthwise, frying it until crispy and seasoned with a combination of spicy and sweet flavors. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to produce snacks that have high appeal and better selling value compared to previous products. This activity succeeded in opening new opportunities, increasing community creativity in processing local agricultural products and strengthening the village's economic potential through the development of value-added products
Organoleptic and Hedonic Quality of Salted Chicken Eggs with the Brick Salting Method: Desa badas kec sumobito kab jombang
No full textThis study aims to analyze the organoleptic and hedonic quality of salted chicken eggs against the duration of incubation using the brick salting method. This study has 4 variants of incubation time with the code: ABB with a storage time of 3 days, BCC with a storage time of 5 days, CDD, with a storage time of 10 days and DFF with a storage time of 15 days. The method used in this study is data collection through organoleptic tests and hedonic tests with panelists. The results showed that the longer the storage, there was an increase in salt content and significant changes in the texture and taste of salted eggs. This study is an experimental RAL study involving 10 panelists. Sensory analysis used advanced ANOVA and BNT tests with a level of 5%. The results showed that the DFF egg variant had the softest texture among all salting treatments.

ANALYSIS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF KARET JATIMLEREK DAM ON AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION IN PLANDAAN DISTRICT, JOMBANG REGENCY
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of water distribution from the Jatimlerek Rubber Dam in irrigating agricultural land in Jatimlerek, Purisemanding, Karangmojo, and Plandaan Villages, Plandaan District, Jombang Regency. The method used is quantitative. The results obtained are the efficiency of distribution in the Jatimlerek secondary channel of 86.13%. Water loss along the Jatimlerek secondary channel is 0.38% of the efficiency in the secondary channel under normal conditions of 90%, so it can be concluded that Jatimlerek secondary irrigation is less effective. Water loss occurs due to the poor condition of the existing irrigation network lining. The conclusion based on the calculation of water loss and irrigation efficiency along the Jatimlerek secondary channel from BJM 2 - BJM 7 is that water loss is 0.38% and the efficiency of Jatimlerek secondary channel irrigation is 86.13%. Then the condition of the Jatimlerek secondary irrigation structure from BJM 2 - BJM 7 of the six BJMs observed, there were two BJMs that experienced damage to the secondary channels, namely BJM 5 located in Plandaan Village and BJM 7 in Purismanding Village which resulted in a decrease in the flow function
LITERASI WAKAF UNTUK PEMBERDAYAAN WAKIF BERBASIS PLATFORM MEDIA DIGITAL
Get PDFLiterasi wakaf memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam berwakaf. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi digital, platform media digital menjadi sarana yang efektif dalam menyebarkan informasi terkait wakaf. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana literasi wakaf berbasis platform media digital dapat memberdayakan wakif di Aceh, dengan studi kasus pada Baitul Mal Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media digital oleh Baitul Mal Aceh dalam sosialisasi wakaf telah meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang wakaf produktif. Media digital juga memfasilitasi transparansi pengelolaan wakaf serta meningkatkan kepercayaan wakif. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi adalah literasi digital yang masih rendah pada sebagian masyarakat serta keterbatasan akses internet di beberapa daerah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi literasi digital yang lebih komprehensif untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan wakaf berbasis teknologi.
Implementation Of Mobile Learning In Islamic Cultural History (ICH) Lessons
Get PDFThe background of this research is that the emergency situation of the entry of the corona virus outbreak in Indonesia has made the government impose a stay at home policy to suppress its spread. Given the importance of education for citizens, the ministry of education enforces a distance learning policy (PJJ program) for all school institutions with the aim of continuing to study at the same time supporting government policies to reduce the spread of the corona virus. This research aims to determine 1) the implementation of m-learning in ICH lessons at MIN 1 Jombang, 2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of ICH lessons at MIN 1 Jombang. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The source of research data comes from primary data and secondary data. The validity test used the time tringulation technique and the extension of the research time. Data analysis using interactive analysis. The application of m-learning in ICH learning at MIN 1 Jombang includes the planning stages and the implementation stages of learning. The supporting factors are adequate network because the school and the average student are in the city center, teacher workshops, and free quota assistance. While the inhibiting factors lies in the knowledge of the technique of using e-learning madrasah and the difficulty of assessing a basic competency in ICH lessons which can be assessed face-to-face only
