PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI TEPAT GUNA ALAT PENABUR PUPUK UREA DI DESA MONTOR
This community service project was conducted in Tani Makmur Village, aiming to introduce and implement appropriate technology in the form of a simple fertilizer spreader. The program was initiated to address farmers' challenges, namely time and labor inefficiency, as well as health risks associated with manual fertilization methods that require a bent posture. In this activity, the KKN students not only conducted socialization sessions but also held a participatory workshop to build the fertilizer spreader with the community using locally available materials like PVC pipes. As a result, the farming community realized that the fertilization process could be more efficient, faster, and ergonomic. The fertilizer spreader proved to reduce physical fatigue, shorten working time, and ensure a more even distribution of fertilizer. This project successfully raised awareness about the importance of simple innovations and strengthened the collaboration between students and the community in solving local agricultural problems
Vocational High School Students' Learning Outcomes Using Number Head Together Model: A Comparative Study
This study aims to describe the difference in student learning outcomes using the numbered head together (NHT) learning model and the problem based learning model. the type of research used is quasi experiment research with non-equivalent control group design using a quantitative approach. The research was carried out at State Vocational High School 1 Kediri Building Modeling and Information Design Expertise Program and took place in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 school year. The sampling technique used for this study was with a purposive sampling technique of 36 students as an experimental group and 33 students as a control group. The instrument used in this study is a test of 20 multiple-choice questions in measuring student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique in the study used a different test (t-test). The results of the study showed a significant difference in student learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together model (0.000) compared to the Problem-Based Learning model. The NHT model prioritizes collaboration and active participation, which has been proven to improve student learning outcomes. The NHT model prioritizes collaboration and active participation, proven to improve student understanding. This is shown by the interaction between students can strengthen their understanding through explaining to each other. In addition, the NHT model also encourages students to be more confident in expressing their opinions. Thus, the results of this study confirm the interactive and collaborative NHT model in improving student learning outcomes in the future
The Effect of Adding Purple Sweet Potato (Ipomoea batatas L) on the Organoleptic Quality of Mocaf Flour-Based Pukis Cake
Pukis cake is a traditional snack that is generally made from wheat flour. To reduce dependence on imported flour, mocaf is used as an alternative, along with purple sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) as a natural coloring agent that also increases nutritional value and visual appeal. This study aims to investigate the effect of adding purple sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) on the organoleptic properties of mocaf-based pukis cake, including color, aroma, taste, and texture. The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments: A1 (50 ml purple sweet potato), A2 (100 ml), and A3 (150 ml) per 500 ml of dough, each repeated three times. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically using ANOVA, followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at the 5% level. Results showed that treatment A2 (100 ml purple sweet potato) yielded the best results with color values of 5.30, aroma 5.40, taste 5.40, and texture 5.25. The addition of 100 ml of purple sweet potato resulted in an attractive purple color, distinctive aroma, natural sweet taste, and soft texture that was significantly preferred by the panelists (p<0.05)
Supply Chain Management Strategies on Oil and Gas Companies Performance in Nigeria
Nigeria's oil and gas sector, a significant contributor to the country's economy, accounts for 92% of export value and 5.5% of GDP. However, challenges such as supply chain inefficiencies hinder its optimal performance. This study investigates the impact of supply chain management strategies on the performance of Nigerian oil and gas companies. Adopting a mixed-method research design, the study utilized Taro Yamane’s formula to determine a sample size of 100 respondents, employing stratified random sampling to select participants from the upstream, midstream, and downstream operational strata of the oil and gas industry. Data collection was conducted through structured questionnaires and interviews, while data analysis employed descriptive statistics, including frequency distributions, percentages, means, and standard deviations. Hypotheses were tested using chi-square statistics to establish relationships and validate findings. The results revealed that the integration of advanced technologies, third-party logistics providers, and effective risk management significantly enhances supply chain performance in the oil and gas sector. The study recommends the adoption of advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for data-driven decision-making, risk prediction, operational optimization, and demand forecasting. Additionally, oil and gas companies should conduct comprehensive risk assessments, develop robust business continuity plans (BCPs), and implement regular drills and simulations to ensure operational resilience during disruptions. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on supply chain management strategies in the oil and gas sector, particularly within the Nigerian contex
