Designing Worksheets for Circle Material to Improve Students’ Numeracy Skills
Get PDFNumeracy is the ability to use numbers, data, and mathematical symbols, as well as knowledge and skills in making decisions related to real-life problems. In the current learning era, students are challenged to enhance their numeracy skills. Therefore, instructional materials that can accommodate this need are essential. Hence, the purpose of this research is to develop student worksheets on the circle to improve the numeracy skills of eleventh-grader students in a public school in Yogyakarta. This study employs a research and development approach using the ADDIE model (Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating). Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, questionnaires, numeracy skills tests, expert material validation questionnaires, and expert media validation questionnaires. The sources of data in this study are eleventh-grader students in a public school in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, two material expert validators, and two media expert validators. The curriculum, learning model, learning resources, and student characteristics become the objects of this research. The results of this study indicate that: (1) students’ numeracy skills are in the medium category, necessitating an analysis of the need for students worksheets to improve these skills; (2) the researched developed student worksheets containing covers, introductions, learning achievement, learning objectives, content, bibliography, and authors identity; (3) the media design results were then validated by material and media experts, indicating that all experts stated that the media is in the good category, making it valid for use. This research will proceed to the implementation and evaluation stages
The Effectiveness of Activated Carbon as an Adsorbent in Reducing Acid and Peroxide Levels in the Refining of Rice Bran Oil (Oryza sativa L.)
Get PDFRice bran is one of the by-products of the rice milling process that has the potential to be utilized becauseit contains 10-13% bran oil. Rice bran oil can be used as raw material for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics,and food oils. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of activated carbon concentration andblanching process time on the quality of rice bran oil and it is hoped that bran oil will meet qualitystandards by looking at 3 parameters, namely acid number, peroxide number, and color inspection. Thepurification process is carried out in 4 stages, namely the extraction, distillation, degumming, andbleaching processes. The dependent variable in this study was the concentration of activated charcoalcarbon and the bleaching time where the concentrations used 5%, 6%, 7% of the weight of the oil and thebleaching time was 15 minutes, 25 minutes, 35 minutes. The independent variables are the value of theacid number and the peroxide number which will be compared before and after purification. The bestresearch results on acid number using 7% activated charcoal carbon concentration and a bleaching timeof 35 minutes the value is 0,36 mg NaOH/g with a percentage decrease of 61%. The best results on theperoxide number using activated charcoal carbon concentration of 7% and bleaching time of 25 minutesthe value is 6,7 mek O 2 /Kg with a percentage decrease of 77%. The results of the analysis, activatedcharcoal can be used as an adsorbent in the bran oil purification process because it provides asignificant value before and after purification
Pemanfaatan dan Pengelolaan Aplikasi Website Desa sebagai Sarana Informasi di Desa Pulorejo Tembelang Jombang
Get PDFDesa pulorejo sebelumnya sudah mengenal sistem informasi yang efektif sebagai media mendapatkan dan menyebarkan informasi desa yaitu website namun dalam pengelolaan website tersebut masih kurang. Website tersebut sebelumnya hanya dikelola oleh pihak teknisi dan perangkat desa. Mayoritas warganya belum mengerti tentang adanya website desa yang bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai media komunikasi, mendapatkan maupun menyebarkan informasi. Untuk Pengelolaan website sendiri memang berbayar, dari pihak teknisi dan juga perangkat desaa belum mengetahui hal tersebut. tampilan website yang sudah pernah dibuat namun sudah tidak aktif dan tidak terkelola dengan baik. Sejak batas waktu penggunaan website secara online tidak terupdate maka website menjadi tidak aktif.. Hal ini disebabkan karena website harus diakses secara online dan untuk mengelola website tersebut memang harus berbayar. Sehingga website yang sudah mencapai batas waktu yang telah ditentukan sudah tidak bisa diakses untuk pengelolaannya. Untuk itu pengabdian ini. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dirasa perlunya pengembangan dalam pengelolaan website desa. Pada peneltian ini penulis menggunan metode problem solfing yaitu observasi dengan merumusakn permasalahn dan memecajkan permasalahn yang ada. Maka dengan adanya pelatihan tentang pengelolaan website menjadi sangat penting untuk pemerintahan desa dan masyarakat pulorejo. Tujuanya agar tercipya kemajuan teknologi mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat, sehingga memudahkan tersebarnya informasi secara online. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan, pendidikan, bisnis, administrasi perkantoran, komunikasi, pemerintahan dan kegiatan lain, secara menyeluruh memegang peranan yang penting dan cukup besar dalam kehidupan

Berdasarkan hasil analisis situasi di atas, muncul permasalahan yang perlu di selesaikan berkaitan dengan rencana kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini untuk mitra adalah : kurangnya minat remaja IPNU-IPPNU mengikuti jamiyah yasinan, dan kuurangnya pemahaman remaja IPNU-IPPNU akan pentingnya jamiyah yasinan.
Dari permasalahan diatas, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa: permasalahan pokok pertama adalah permasalahan terkait dengan semangat dan minat mereka dalam mengikuti rutinan yasinan, Serta permasalahan pokok kedua adalah permasalahan yang terkait dengan pentingnya membaca yasin dan tahlil untuk medoakan keluarga yang sudah meninggal, dengan tujuan ini harapan kami remaja IPNU-IPPNU bisa mengikuti rutinan tiap minggu jamiyah yasinan dan jikakalau bisa masuk kedalam program kerja remaja IPNU-IPPNU . The problems that need to be resolved regarding the planned community service activities are as follows: (1) Activities carried out by village teenagers experience obstacles that affect their productivity. (2) There is a shortage of teenagers who have the ability to use applications that can support their potential. (3) Frequent use of smartphones for social media and playing games has become common among teenagers. (4) Limitations in social interaction between teenagers are currently an important concern. The community service method uses the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach, namely a method that utilizes assets owned by the local community which are seen to support community empowerment activities. IPNU and IPPNU in Mancilan Village are one of the pillars of youth organizations followed by the wider community who are faced with a number of problems. From the results of pre-program identification, several problems faced by partners were found. The first problem is that the implementation of organizational management is not running well so that many organizational programs are not running optimally. The main obstacle faced is limited funds to carry out various activities aimed at achieving the organization's vision and mission. Currently, their main source of funding is membership fees, which are not always sufficient to support all the initiatives they undertake. With this background, the service team conducted training in understanding digital marketing in Mojoagung District, Mancilan Village, Jombang Regency. This service is carried out to increase sales efforts by utilizing digital platforms. Writing skills in marketplace media are very important for increasing brand awareness for potential consumers. The problem that partners have is that partners have not been able to create captions, taglines, descriptions for products that will be marketed online. Apart from that, regarding digital marketing planning, the service team brought in a resource person, one of the practitioners managing Jombang students' official Instagram accounts, to provide material related to digital marketing. Desa Turi Pinggir Megaluh yang terletak di pedesaan mempunyai potensi yang besar dalam memproduksi keripik tempe yang berkualitas namun seringkali mengalami kendala dalam pemasaran dan branding. survei awal dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan permasalahan yang dihadapi produsen keripik tempe lokal, merancang kemasan yang menarik dan fungsional, serta mengembangkan strategi sosialisasi melalui sarana digital seperti jejaring sosial dan platform e-commerce. Get PDFTujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk peningkatan pemahaman anak-anak dalam makhorijul huruf ketika membaca alqur’an memperluas wawasan ilmu mereka tentang ilmu tajwid. Dari permasalahan yang kami lihat di lingkungan sekitar desa Sumbersari, maka dari itu kami ingin meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-quran anak-anak di TPQ Desa Sumbersari melalui pendampingan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan membaca Al-Qur’an. Tujuannya agar mengetahui potensi anak-anak dan akan disalurkan melalui program Festival Anak Sholeh Indonesia. Metode pelaksanaan yang diterapkan dalam Festival Anak Sholeh di mulai dengan metode pembekalan, pelatihan, dan praktek. Metode pembekalan disini bermaksud untuk memberikan pembekalan, berupa materi kepada anak-anak yang berkaitan dengan tata cara pelaksanaan dan aturan dalam program Festival Anak Sholeh, metode pelatihan dilaksanakan pada saat anak-anak mengikuti TPQ. Metode pelatihan disini bermaksud untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kemampuan daya tangkap anak-anak Desa Sumbersari setelah diberikan pembekalan, selain itu metode pelatihan ini juga dilakukan untuk mempersiapkan kesiapan anak- anak Desa Sumbersari dalam mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan Festival Anak Sholeh, metode ini dilaksanakan pada saat kegiatan belajar mengajar di TPQ di Desa Sumbersari. Metode praktek disini dilakukan pada saat kegiatan Festival Anak Sholeh berlangsung, dimana anak-anak yang sebelumnya sudah diberikan pembekalan dan pelatihan nantinya akan menunjukkan kemampuannya dengan cara mengikuti lomba-lomba dalam kegiatan Festival Anak Sholeh tersebut. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa respon anak-anak memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan festival anak sholeh ini namun ada juga yang tidak mengikuti kegiatan festival anak sholeh ini walaupun sudah diberi pembekalan dan pelatihan. Untuk lebih meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam membaca al-qur’an serta paham hukum tajwidnya maka dibutuhkan tenaga pengajar yang lebih banyak lag

Based on the results of the situation analysis above, problems arise that need to be resolved regarding the planned community service activities in this Community Partnership Program scheme for partners, namely (1) There is still a lack of understanding among young women regarding women's jurisprudence which discusses menstruation and istihadhah. (2) There is still a lack of understanding about calculating menstrual time and istihadhah. Community service activities through seminars on women's jurisprudence which discuss menstruation and istihadhah among young women at Karang Taruna and IPPNU Betek Village have the objectives, namely (1) To improve and develop religious learning about women's jurisprudence. (2) To increase understanding of calculating menstrual time and istihadhah. This community service activity can be concluded that there is a lack of understanding in the community about menstruation and istihadzah correctly according to Islamic law, in this case KARTA and IPPNU lack understanding about menstruation and istihadzah, which then became the basis for holding seminar training on menstruation and istihadzah in Betek Village, Then, after conducting this study, we received positive responses and results. This can be proven by the average response to the questionnaire which reached 71.43%

Get PDFThis research analyzes the practice of implementing e-government at the governance horizon, namely the sub-district level. This research uses quantitative description. Apart from that, it is carried out through various media, both print, electronic and mass media, as well as through various public relations channels. The findings of this research indicate that the effectiveness of e-government in the current era is not yet optimal, as evidenced by its effectiveness in terms of efficiency, mass participation, and device adaptation with applications, development and life. Ideal conveniences in this case will enable society to participate in public procurement processes and contribute to the creation of smart cities by utilizing innovative new technologies in communication approaches with the public. Several steps can be taken between now and then, including building infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations, and creating new ones
