Analisis Manajemen Risiko Pembiayaan Natural Uncertaity Contracts (NUC) (Studi Pada PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Kantor Area Malang)
This study aims to reveal and analyze risk management developed in PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Office Area Malang by using qualitative method (qualitative research) with sub focus including: (1) identification of risk financing NUC; (2) financing risk assessment NUC; and (3) financing risk control NUC in PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Area Office of Malang. This research uses a qualitative research with a model case study approach. The data collection was done by interviewing, participant observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques use the theory of Miles and Huberman which is performed with the three steps, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. As for checking the validity of the data is done by: (1) checking the methodology used; (2) correcting the results of a research report; and (3) perform triangulation of sources and methods. The results showed that the financing risk management of NUC which is developed in PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Area Office of Malang that can be summed up into 11 stages, namely: (1) request for financing; (2) data collection and investigations; (3) analysis of financing; (4) review; (5) approval; (6) the collection of additional data; (7) verification; (8) the binding; (9) disbursement; (10) monitoring; and (11) risk control. However, the BSM is more emphasis on the analysis stage of financing that includes 5C, namely: character, capacity, condition, capital and collateral
Kitab Kuning: Warisan Keilmuan Ulama dan Kontekstualisasi Hukum Islam Nusantara
This article attempts to describe the existence of the Kitab Kuning (Arabic Book) as a legacy of Islamic scholarship literacy which has an intellectual connection with earlier scholar and to see the contextualization of Islamic law in Nusantara. By Examining many library books related to the topic, including the work of Nusantara scholar, this article uses historical reviews and analyze it critically.The result shows that the existence of Kitab Kuning is not only to conserve and preserve the heritage of Islamic scholarship but also to be a signifier of one's intellectual capacity in understanding, interpreting and contextualizing the principles of Islamic law in order to respond social and cultural change. On the other hand, the contextualization of Islamic law in Nusantara is carried out in several ways; translating the works of jurisprudence, writing a commentary (syarḥ) from a prominent jurisprudence and writing his own works by keep referring to the authoritative sources of the Islamic school of earlier scholarly work
Memahami Dasar Filosofis Hukum Ekonomi Islam
The purpose of this paper is to explain the urgency of understanding the basic philosophical economy of Islamic banking in the dynamics of global economic competition. The basic principle of Islamic economic law is different from the conventional economic system which is not based on the teachings of religion as the main basis in every application of economic transactions. In Islamic economic law it is always emphasized the basic principle that becomes universal value for the achievement of society prosperity, that is, faith, justice, equilibrium, and equity for all parties. All the basic objectives and principles implemented in the Islamic economy are inseparable from God's law, while conventional economics is based on the results of human thought and ideology. The results of this study indicate that the basic principle of Islamic economic law is to avoid thep prohibited things in the teachings of religion, such as usury or other transactions that are more concerned with profit than the values of justice for the benefit of the ummah or society in general. This is because the basic principles of Islamic economic law is always guided by the Islamic teaching source, namely al-Quran, sunnah, ijma, and qiya
Kontribusi Kiai Kholil Bangkalan dalam Mengembangkan Tasawuf Nusantara
This paper aims to elaborate the sufism thought of Kiai Kholil as Madurese scholars who still remembered and respected until now. He has important role in spreading Islam with sufism approach and also has been successfully shaping the best muslim generations. This study uses library research to reveal the thought and the role of Kiai Kholil in developing sufism in the Nusantara. This study uses descriptive method to gain a comprehension of his figure known as sufi that inspire muslim generations in Nusantara. The results of this study show that Kiai Kholil has a big contribution in the development of Sufism in Nusantara. The First, Kiai Kholil developed tarekat in Madura, because he has become member of Qadariyah wa Naqsabandiyah Tarekat. Kiai Kholil manages to practice sufism harmoniously to the norms of fiqh. Based on the norms of fiqih, sufism was successfully accepted by people. The second, Kiai Kholil successfully developed the thought and practice of sufism based on the character of ahlussunah wa al-jama>’ah. In this way, he integrates sufism into the life of the society. The character of sufism developed by Kiai Kholil based on ahlussunah wa al-jama>’ah were accepted by the majority of Indonesian society, which emphasize on mutual respect (tasa>muh{), balance (tawa>zun), justice (taa>dul) and moderation (tawa>sut})
Dilema Integrasi Tasawuf dan Psikoterapi dalam Kelanjutan Islamisasi Psikologi
An ambitious integration of Sufism concepts and practices into modern psychotherapy is inseparably under influence from the second half 20th century trend of the islamization of psychology in the Muslim world. To some aspects, such integration has been highly successful. However, such integration deals with an eclectic theoretical dilemma between sufism and psychotherapy, since the former is regarded as spiritual-transcendental oriented for getting total submission to God, while the latter is not invariably ‘spiritual’ because it often involves manipulation and simulation as psychotherapy procedures. The mystic experience of Sufism is wordlessly unsaid, and it is almost impossible to be scientifically measured. In other side, the counseling and therapy need certain assessments, partly, in strict ways. Since having an ‘exclusive’ character in its practical dimension, Sufism is dealing with a paradigmatic dilemma in providing certain procedures for psychotherapy. This study is to depict such dilemma and its influence on the modern islamization of psychology
Khazanah Tasawuf Nusantara: Tarekat Naqsyabandiyyah Khalidiyyah di Malaysia
Sufism as one of the three essential elements of knowledge in Islam, in addition to tawhid (aqi>dah) and jurisprudence (syari>’a), is a treasure of Islamic civilization playing an important role in spreading the values ​​of Islam throughout the world. Through sufism doctrine, Islam able to enter and thrive in the Nusantara. Nonetheless, scornful views towards sufism could not be avoided, specifically about the practice of tariqa (sufi path) that teaches concepts such as bai'at, z\ikir, rabitah, tawassul, s{ala>wa>t, etc. Some people perceive sufism and tariqa as heresy and despicable deeds. This study will discuss the history of sufism and tariqa focusing on the emergence and development, also the position, role, and importance of tariqa. Besides these problems, tariqa in the Nusantara will also be studied, specifically about the Naqshabandiyyah Khalidiyyah in Malaysia. The method of this study is literature review about sufism and tariqa, especially references that discuss the Naqsyabandiyyah Khalidiyyah in Malaysia. This study concludes that Naqsyabandiyyah Khalidiyyah is the most popular and widespread tariqa in Malaysia, which entered the Malay Peninsula through two main paths: Mecca and Sumatera. This tariqa is well received by people because it provides the teaching and guidance to bring people closer to Allah in order to be the perfect man (al-insan al-kamil) on the basis of syari>’a
Sejarah Tasawuf dengan Pendekatan Arkeologi
Tasawuf, sebagai ilmu, tidaklah lahir dengan mulus dan berkembang dengan pesat tanpa pertentangan di sana-sini. Kelahirannya, sebagaimana ilmu yang lain, diikuti dengan penolakan, mulai dari yang bernada biasa sampai yang cukup keras (diharamkan untuk dipelajari sebagai bagian dari ilmu keislaman, seperti ilmu-ilmu keislaman yang lain, karena dianggap sesat dan bid’ah). Namun, penolakan atau pertentangan ini tidak sepenuhnya harus dianggap membahayakan bagi keberlangsungan tasawuf. Sebab, dalam Filsafat Ilmu, penolakan itu dapat disebut sebagai proses falsifikasi. Jika suatu ilmu mampu bertahan di tengah terjangan falsifikasi, maka ilmu tersebut akan semakin mapan atau sempurna. Demikianlah yang dialami tasawuf. Buku yang ditulis doktor di bidang filsafat Islam dan tasawuf ini, mengetengahkan sejarah pemikiran tasawuf, mulai dari awal kelahirannya, perkembangannya, dan pertentangan yang menyertainya. Melalui metode arkeologi, dalam arti menggali kembali ide-ide atau pemikiran tasawuf yang terdapat pada tokoh-tokoh penting tasawuf, dan dibalut dengan pendekatan historis, penulis menjelaskan dengan renyah dan lincah pemikiran tasawuf dari awal lahirnya, ketersambungan idenya dari satu tokoh ke tokoh lain, dari tanah kelahirannya di Timur Tengah sampai menjejakkan kaki di Nusantara
Konseling Sufistik: Harmonisasi Psikologi dan Tasawuf dalam Mewujudkan Kesehatan Mental
Mental Health engenders harmony, tranquility, welfare, and peace of the soul. Mental health can be realized if we comprehend the nature of human being as individual, social being, and religious being. This study attempts to examine sufistic counseling as a result of the harmonization between psychology and sufism whose role is strong enough for the realization of mental health. Human being perspective in psychology and sufism were also presented to gain a better and more comprehensive understanding of human nature. Using library research of relevant literature as the method, this study concludes that sufi counseling could be a bridge to harmonize between psychology and sufism. It also could be directed to realize mental health in individual level. In addition, sufism provides a typical pattern for the development of counseling and it has a great opportunity to give its own color for counseling trend in the modern era
Jejak Pemikiran Al-Gazali dalam Tradisi Pendidikan Pesantren

This thought became the foundation to see the traces left by this hujjatul Isla>m in pesantren’s scientific tradition; what have became tradition, and what have changed and developed in the tradition itself. This study shows that the thought of al-Gaza>li> influence several aspects (1) ontology about the nature and origin of science, it’s quality and position, which is linked to the learning process, (2) classification of science that is read sub-ordinatively, classificatively, even dichotomous, (3) the orientation and development of science in the education process that oriented to the hereafter life and worldly benefit. But in education process, every pesantren has their own interpretation. It is caused by differences in readings and adjustments to local circumstances. Therefore the thought of al-Gaza>li> is not always intact in education process. Most actually showed irregularities. It is caused by the dynamics of the social history, cultural and political of Indonesian. Readings and interpretation of al-Gaza>li> thought in pesantren tradition is also dynamic, in the sense of showing the progress from period to period
Kontestasi Langgar dan Pesantren (Studi Atas Pranata Keagamaan Lokal di Sumenep Madura)
This research is a social anthropology study. The theory used is the resistance theory of James C. Scott. The data collection is through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research found: first, the contestation between Langgar Barokah and Pesantren Mathlabul Ulum is not occurred since the beginning of the establishment, but since Mathlabul Ulum established Islamic Elementary School (2003), and then in 2008 founded Langgar Fatimah Binti Ali. Second, contestation occurs in two forms: open and hidden contestation. Contestation appears more hidden, sometimes even symbolic, because they realize that they have role as guide and leader of islamic society, and also they have family relationship. Third, there are five contestants are involved which then narrowed down to two: the contestants of Langgar and pesantren. Fourth, the two contested arena are cultural and economic arenas. Fifth, there are five trigger contestation: negligence of society; differences in patterns of education that should be maintained, Salaf or modern; the legitimacy of the public; and equality preaching territory
