Регионални карактеристики на туристичката политика во светот
Книгата „Регионални карактеристики на туристичката политика во светот“ е наменета за сите кои работат во секторот туризам и угостителството, за академската јавност, студентите, истражувачите, учениците, заинтересираните страни од приватниот, јавниот и невладиниот сектор кои директно или индиректно се поврзани со туристичкиот бизнис и креирањето на туристичката политика. Книгата е изготвена со цел да се збогати постоечката литература поврзана со проблематиката на туристичката политика во земјата преку примери на државни органи задолжени за развој на туристичката политика кај земјите во светот.
Материјалот во книгата е поделен во три основни поглавја. Во првиот дел е опфатен материјалот кој се однесува на основните аспекти на туристичката дејност, како дефинирање и развој на туристичката дејност, современи трендови во туристичката дејност и статистика поврзана со туристичката дејност во Република Северна Македонија.
Во вториот дел од книгата е посветено внимание на содржини поврзани со туристичка политика и меѓународниот развој на туризмот, како поим и дефинирање на туристичката политика, меѓународни организации и национални туристички организации.
Во третиот дел се обработува материјата поврзана со регионалните карактеристики на туристичката политика кај земјите во светот, преку примери на организација на туристичката политика во различни земји и административни територии од светските туристички региони Европа, Азија и Пацифик, Америка, Африка и Блискиот Исток.
Во книгата се прави обид да се даде основна анализа и преглед на состојбата со државните органи задолжени за туристичката политика кои имаат свои специфики и соодветни карактеристики во различни земји во светот.
За потребите на книгата користена е релевантна научна и стручна литература поврзана со туристичката политика во земјите од светот, како и интернетот. Имајќи предвид дека ова е прво издание на книгата, можеби сме пропуштиле некои важни елементи поврзани со туристичката политика кај земјите од светот. Polishing vs. Glazing: contemporary trends and experimental color analysis on a phantom model
The continuous advancement of aesthetics and functionality in fixed prosthodontic restorations has led to growing interest in the influence of surface finishing techniques and their physico-optical properties. Polishing and glazing are two fundamental methods of surface treatment that significantly affect the visual appearance, biocompatibility, and longevity of prosthetic restorations.The primary aim of this study was to conduct a comparative analysis of the esthetic differences, expressed through color change (ΔE), between polished and glazed surfaces across various types of fixed prosthodontic materials. The samples were fabricated for an anatomical phantom model (KaVo™ DPS Epoxy Modell) owned by the University "Goce Delchev" –Štip. All crowns were designed for the upper left central incisor, which had been previously prepared and digitally scanned. The shade selection was based on the Vitapan Classical shade guide, specifically in shade A2.The study was conducted using a non-contact intraoral spectrophotometer (ShadePilot™; DeguDent, Germany) with a 45/0° optical geometry. This device is housed in the Dental Research Laboratory at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University "Goce Delchev" –Štip. The analysis and data processing were performed using the dedicated software Windows Software Version 3.01.1007a.A total of 180 samples were included in the study, categorized into three main groups, each consisting of 60 samples, further divided into two subgroups of 30: metal-ceramic restorations, zirconia restorations with veneered ceramic, and monolithic full-contour zirconia restorations. In each group, one subgroup consisted of polished samples, while the other comprised glazed samples. Color change (ΔE) was measured for each specimen under standardized daylight conditions.The results showed that glazed surfaces exhibited lower ΔE values compared to polished ones across all materials. In the metal-ceramic group, the mean ΔE value was slightly lower for glazed samples but without statistical significance (Z = -2.877; p = 0.004). In contrast, for both full-contour zirconia and veneered zirconia restorations, the differences were statistically significant (Z = -2.877; p = 0.004 and Z = -3.832; p = 0.0001, respectively), with lower ΔE values in the glazed subgroups.These findings suggest that the choice of surface finishing technique has a tangible impact on the optical properties of restorations, particularly in zirconia-based materials. The study highlights the importance of selecting an appropriate surface finishing method according to the material used, in order to achieve optimal esthetic outcomes and clinical efficiency.

Wild raspberries from Republic of North Macedonia as a valuable source for healing vinegars
The healing potential of wild raspberries from the Region of North Macedonia was investigated through fermentation and production of healing vinegars. For the production of homemade vinegars, wild raspberries were collected from the forest region of Berovo and Robovo, Republic of North Macedonia. The fresh wild raspberries were selected, washed, dried and cuted. About 1400 g of wild raspberries were subjected for maceration process in the period of 1–3 min. During this period, the extraction process of natural antioxidants as polyphenols (anthocyanins, tannins, proanthocyanidins) as well as organic acids, Vitamin C and other natural antioxidants were performed. The puree of raspberries was then distributed into 5–6 L glass vessels and 4.8 L of water and 500 g of sucrose were added. The fermentation process was conducted at room temperature, ranging between 21 and 26 ⁰C, for a time period of 41 days in the absence of starter cultures like yeasts and acetic acid bacteria. Once the acetic fermentation was completed (41 days), the experimental vinegars were filtered, pasteurized (15 min at 80 ⁰C) and transferred, under aseptic conditions, into 100 mL glass airtight containers to reduce the risk of microbial contamination. Results obtained from evaluation of vinegar from wild raspberries showed significant amounts of polyphenols (459.28 mg/L vinegar) and total anthocyanins (399.21 mg/L vinegar). The presents of high level of natural antioxidants in wild raspberry vinegar produced by spontaneous fermentation was directly linked with high value of antioxidant potential determined by DPPH radical (0.49 mg/L as equivalent for Vitamin C)

Awareness of medicinal plants usage is a result of the many years of struggles against illnesses due to which man learned to pursue drugs in barks, seeds, fruit bodies, and other parts of the plants. Contemporary science has acknowledged their active action, and it has included in modern pharmacotherapy a range of drugs of plant origin, known by ancient civilizations and used throughout the millennia. The knowledge of the development of ideas related to the usage of medicinal plants as well as the evolution of awareness has increased the ability of pharmacists and physicians to respond to the challenges that have emerged with the spreading of professional services in facilitation of man's life
Determination of the amount of cutting waste and its characterization
The generation of cutting waste is an inevitable outcome of production processes in the clothing industry. Efficient management of cutting waste can lead to significant cost savings, resource optimization, and environmental sustainability. Although this waste can be a valuable resource, it is currently only one of the environmental pollutants. In order to implement a more efficient way of managing apparel cutting waste, a comprehensive analysis of its quality and quantity needs to be done. This paper presents an applied methodology to determine both the quantity and quality of cutting waste at the place of creation in the clothing manufacturing company. The application of this methodology will be the basis for further research to develop a more efficient way of managing cutting waste than the current one - disposal in landfills
Intramolecular O−H∙∙∙O Hydrogen Bonding in Crystal Structures of Ortho-Hydroxymethyl-hydroxy (Hetero)arenes
Insight in non-covalent interactions, especially the extent of the charge transfer in variety of H-bonds (HB) and the directional reproducibility of the utterly smallest patterns (synthons) established depending on donor-acceptor propensity of functional groups and molecular structural fragments within the crystal structures determined and deposited in Cambridge Crystallography database (CCD) [1], impacts previously established skills of serendipity growing crystal toward customized crystallization procedures nowadays to be upraised to Crystal Engineering. This engineering concept enables designing new single phases of single or multicomponent crystalline functional materials with purpose. [2] On the large, macroscopic scale the solid-state structures of the bulk powders may exert improved water solubility, flowability, reactivity or phase transition in photochemical and mechanoshemical processing.
The structural diversity in CCD requires the Etter’s General rule “Six-membered-ring intramolecular hydrogen bonds form in preference to intermolecular hydrogen bonds” to be additionally tested for further exploring the influence of the intramolecular HB (IMHB) to its possible participation in establishing intrermolecular HB, and hierarchy in synthons preference as a predictive tool for the mode of crystal packing. The crystal structures and packing analyses based on HB motifs of the molecular salts of protonated hydroxypyridine derivative with deprotonated hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives comparable with statistical analyses on the surveyed structures deposited in CDC, selected based on IMHB fragments ortho position carboxyl–hydroxyl (carboxylate–hydroxyl) and phenyl hydroxyl–methyl hydroxy groups in phenyl and six-membered-hetero-atom-ring, respectively reveal how the nature and the position of the substituents influence the strength of the IMHBs as per the range of their distances and type of synthons in the formation of intermolecular HBs. Doctrinal and Tactical Aspects of Deploying Anti-Tank Guided Missile Platoons in Defence
This paper explores the tactical employment of the Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) platoon in defensive operations, focusing on its effectiveness against armoured and mechanized threats in both conventional and hybrid warfare environments. Drawing on doctrinal frameworks such as FM 3-21.91, FM 71-1, and MCRP 3-30.7, the research evaluates key aspects including terrain-based siting, force distribution, survivability through mobility and camouflage, and synchronization with indirect fire and reconnaissance assets. Through simulated defensive scenarios, the study demonstrates that ATGM units deployed in decentralized, terrain-masked positions with overlapping fields of fire and ISR integration significantly improve engagement success and reduce vulnerability to counterattack. The findings suggest doctrinal and organizational refinements, such as the incorporation of hunter-killer tactics and loitering munitions at the platoon level, to meet the demands of multi-domain operations and support Force Design 2030 concepts. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for training, force structure adaptation, and integrated fires coordination
Application of biosensors with GPS locators for monitoring the health of miners in underground mines a comprehensive framework for enhanced safety and operational efficiency
Underground mining operations present significant safety challenges due to harsh environmental conditions, limited visibility, and potential exposure to toxic gases. This paper presents a comprehensive framework integrating wearable biosensors with advanced positioning technologies to enhance miner safety and operational efficiency. The proposed system combines real-time physiological monitoring (heart rate, body temperature, blood oxygen saturation) with precise underground positioning using Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. Analysis of empirical data from multiple mining operations demonstrates substantial improvements in safety metrics, including a 31-50% reduction in incident rates, 50-64% improvement in emergency response times, and 95-98% accuracy in hazard detection123. The integrated system architecture encompasses four primary layers: wearable sensor networks, underground positioning infrastructure, communication mesh systems, and data analytics platforms. Cost-benefit analysis indicates a return on investment breakeven point of 1.7 years with an initial investment of $80,000 for a 50-miner operation [1]
