    Evaluasi Tingkat Usability Situs Belanja Online X Menggunakan Tobii-Eye Tracker dan Face Reader

    This study aimed to evaluate the usability of a popular online shopping site. For usability testing, a number of 10 university students were recruited as participants. They were asked to perform two simulation tasks related to online shopping behaviour. Their responses were measured using Tobii Eye-Tracker and Noldus FaceReader. The results showed that the shopping online site under study could be classified as good usability with a high level of effectiveness and efficienty in using the site. The Tobii Eye-Tracker results showed that eye movement as the user's focus was on the product type, specifications, and price. Meanwhile, the FaceReader showed that most participants have neutral facial expression while runningon the site. This study also suggested that improving the performance of shopping sites can be done by focusing more on product types, specifications and prices

    Risk Mitigation on Metalworking Oil & Fluids Business Process by Integrated House Of Risk (HOR) and Fishbone Diagram Approach

    Business processes take an essential role in creating strategic goals for every company. However, It is not easy things in current condition. In the business process, every company has many vulnerable activities to risk. This research was conducted in the company engaged in the manufacturing industry that produces and supplies metalworking oils & fluids. So far, the company has experienced risk events such as late production and late delivery. This research aims to analyse and design the risk mitigation strategies of the company’s supply chain by using House of Risk and Fishbone Diagram approaches. By integrating these two methods, the root of the risk agent can be specifically identified and make it easier to design risk mitigation strategies. The purpose of this research is to analyse and design a risk mitigation strategy using the integrated HOR and Fishbone Diagram approach in the supply chain of a metalworking oils & fluids company. This research indicates twenty risk events, six priority risk agents, sixteen root of risk agents, and six priority mitigation strategies. The six priority mitigation strategies include implementing reward and punishment for better SOP, starting with briefing every day before activities, providing regular training to the employees, hiring great employees, establishing employee performance appraisal effectively, and maintaining machines preventively. &nbsp

    Peningkatan Efisiensi Penanganan Material Melalui Perancangan Tata Letak Fasilitas dengan Integrasi Metode Konvensional Tata Letak dan Algoritma CORELAP

    Material handling methods determine the effectiveness and efficiency of a company. This research was conducted at PT. FIM which is a manufacturing company that produces food packaging made of plastic (plastic food grade packaging), which has ineffective and inefficient material handling problems. The main objective of this research is to design the facilities layout of PT.FIM to improve the efficiency of material handling. In this research, the integration of the conventional layout method and the CORELAP algorithm was used to determine the optimal work station layout. The research stage begins with calculation of the routing sheet based on the OPC, calculation of the floor area and making of ARC in the production area using the CORELAP algorithm method, while for other facility areas using the conventional layout method. The next stage is making ARD and AAD, and conducting MHPS analysis. From the results of this research obtained a layout design that requires the addition of 6 injection machines, a production floor area of 922m2, a raw material warehouse of 26.65m2, a finished materials warehouse of 63.96m2, a work-in-process warehouse of 85.28m2, supporting materials warehouse of 14.34m2, office area and other facilities area of 462m2. The resulting layout design has a material handling distance difference of 49.3m, and a cost difference of Rp.51,978, with a material handling cost efficiency of 78.67%

    PT. Hamdan Jaya Makmur is a company that runs in the field of Machining, Engineering, Fabrication, Stamping, and Trading Company, which produces products for small, medium and modern industries. Less than optimal maintenance system with corrective maintenance causes PT. Hamdan Jaya Makmur often experiences machine failure. Based on historical data, it can be seen that the lathe machine type SS-850 experienced very high downtime. Therefore, it is necessary to plan optimal and preventive maintenance of the machine in order to produce according to the target and increase the reliability of the machine. The purpose of this research is to determine the time interval and cost of preventive replacement on components of the lathe machine type SS-850 at PT. Hamdan Jaya Makmur. The method used in this research is the Age Replacement method, namely by determining critical components, determining the distribution pattern of damage, determining distribution parameters, and calculating MTTF and MTTR, where the results obtained are preventive replacement time intervals, and calculating preventive replacement costs. The results obtained from this research are that there are four critical components on the lathe machine type SS-850, namely electric components with a preventive replacement time interval of 11 days and a preventive replacement cost of Rp.3,080,679,253, bearing components have a preventive replacement time interval of 14 days and a preventive replacement cost of Rp.4,931,989,307, the gearbox component has a preventive replacement time interval of 33 days and a preventive replacement cost of Rp.11,621,532,829, and bolt and nut components have a preventive replacement time interval of 11 days and a preventive replacement cost of Rp.1,615,296,412

    Rembang Regency is not a tourist destination in districts or cities in Central Java because tourist visits to tourist objects in Rembang Regency are still relatively small when compared to other areas around Rembang Regency such as Demak Regency, Kudus Regency, and Semarang Regency. The potential for cultural tourism in Rembang Regency is still relatively small compared to natural and artificial tourism. So that the potential to be taken is the potential for cultural tourism. There are six components of tourism development as the basis for research: Attraction, Amenities, Ancillary Service, Activity, Accessibility, and Accommodation. There are additional tourism development components from interviews with the Culture and Tourism Office of Rembang Regency, namely Environment and Human Resources.     Performance Assesment Based on Malcolm Baldrige Model Criteria in The Automotive Industry: A Case Study

    The performance of a company is supported by the performance of workers from various departments and levels of work in the company. Performance measurement is needed to evaluate the condition of the company. Bakom Metal Industry is an automotive company that produces pistons. BMI is an OEM company that has become a supplier to several large companies such as Astra and Daihatsu. One of the departments that play an essential role in increasing the company's sales is the Production Department. Therefore, this study aims to assess the current performance of the production department and provide improvement strategies to achieve performance excellence and quality using the Malcolm Baldrige method. The assessment in this study uses two methods, qualitative and quantitative methods. The evaluation result based on the interview got a value of 618.5, and based on the questionnaire got a weight of 734.79. Based on the outcome of the two methods, it indicates that the production department has shown good performance, which is included in the excellent category as an industry leader. The assessment in the production department will provide the strengths and opportunities for evaluation to improve the performance and to be able to compete with competitors

    Inventory control has an important role to maintain the stability of the company's business continuity. With inventory control, companies can meet consumer needs and consumers will feel satisfied if the demand comes on time. On the other hand, with this focus on inventory control, company management must also be careful if the raw material inventory is too large, it will result in high inventory costs, on the other hand, if there is too little raw material inventory, it will result in unfulfilled consumer needs. The purpose of this study is to identify forecasting the amount of sugar demand in 2019 and determine the amount of inventory costs from the forecasting results using EOQ. It is hoped that in the future the company will not only be able to know the future demand side based on forecasting, but the company already has an estimate of the total cost of inventory. The need for sugar raw materials from the forecasting results is 170,173 kg. Where the most needs are in April and November 2019, the number of economic purchases is 5218 kg with a frequency of ordering 33 times a year. Based on company policy, there is currently no information on safety stock and reoder points set by the company. With the EOQ proposal, the results of the safety stock and reoder point are 34,349 kg and 70,875 kg, respectively. The TIC proposal based on the EOQ is able to reduce the total inventory cost which was originally with the company's policy of Rp. 1,805,785,530 to Rp. 1,805,138,304 where this figure saves Rp. 647,22

    OPTIMASI ALOKASI SISTEM PENGOLAHAN SAMPAH ANORGANIK DENGAN METODE CAPACITATED MAXIMUM COVERING LOCATION PROBLEM

    Province X in Indonesia has a significant problem with trash that has been challenging to address. The Environment Agency therefore desires to construct an inorganic Trash Management System. The Environment Agency has four potential locations with various capacities. The purpose of this research is to locate a trash treatment system's best possible site and allocate each TPS that is less than 30 km and more over 30 km from the chosen system, respectively, to ensure that the overall distance traveled is as little as possible. There are four possible locations, and it required to select three of them. This study use the LINGO 18.0 software to solve the Capacitated Maximum Covering Location Problem (CMCLP) approach. Distance parameters used by CMCLP are split into two stages. The first stage is to determine the location of the trash treatment system to be built and the allocation of trash and the amount of trash from each TPS using Mix Integer Programming. B is not chosen out of the options, which are A, B, C, and D. System A will receive 1,407,520 tons of trash totaling 24 TPS. System C receives trash from 147 TPS weighing 1,294,495 pounds. System D will receive trash weighing 819,142 tons from 88 TPS. The allocation of trash from TPS that are more than 30 km away takes place in the second stage.     Perancangan Sistem untuk Minimasi Limbah B3 di PT. XYZ Menggunakan Pendekatan SSM (Soft System Methodology)

    PT. XYZ is a company that produces pharmaceutical products for livestock. Most of the raw materials for veterinary drugs consist of B3 powder (toxic and hazardous materials). Waste from the production process is unavoidable, one of the types of waste produced by PT. XYZ is B3 powder wastes. According to the Environmental Service (DLH) B3 waste cannot be directly discharged into the environment, therefore PT. XYZ uses 3rd party services in processing B3 waste disposal. PT. XYZ produces powdered B3 waste at an average of 267.12 kg/month, the cost that must be incurred by the company to manage B3 waste and the value of loss of raw materials is Rp. 28,094,703.70/year. This study aims to design a system for the minimization of B3 waste by using a Soft System Methodology (SSM) approach. The proposed changes from this research use the 3R principle (reduce, reuse, recycle). The implementation of the proposed changes can result in cost efficiency incurred by the company for B3 waste management of Rp. 18,368,995.87/year
