    PT. X is a garment industry company that produces clothing products. PT. X has not implemented a maintenance or machine maintenance system. Currently, the company only performs machine maintenance when they are damaged. This causes losses for the company because it can disrupt the smooth running of the production process, such as sudden engine damage, which can cause high machine downtime. Therefore, maintenance of machines is needed in the form of a schedule for replacing and checking cutting machine components with a Preventive maintenance approach to support the production process at the company. In addition to generating replacement schedules and inspecting engine components, Implementing the proposed Preventive maintenance takes the scheduling for maintenance and cleaning of cutting machines. After the replacement schedule and inspection of engine components are generated, it will affect the inventory of engine components. The inventory system proposed is the inventory system model P. Model P is chosen because it is in accordance with the condition of the company and meets the requirements of the model P inventory system. The P inventory system produces a cost of Rp. 22,508,709

    CV. Istiqomah Furniture is a company engaged in manufacturing furniture located in Klaten, Central Java. The problems that are often faced by CV. Istiqomah Furniture, namely the decrease in worker productivity and the number of final products that are not following company standards. One of the departments responsible for these problems is the service department. The high intensity of work in the service department can cause a mental burden for workers. The purpose of this study is to calculate the mental workload felt byworkers, find out the dominant factors that cause this mental burden, and provide alternative improvements based on the problems faced by the company. The method used in this research is NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index). The results of this study are that the average worker has a high mental workload with a WWL value of 72.11, and the mostinfluential factors are physical and mental needs. Based on these results, the proposed improvements provide sufficient rest time, improve worker safety and comfort, increase work motivation, provide adequate facilities, conduct medical tests, and provide good nutrition

    The tourism sector holds a pivotal role in Indonesia's economic landscape, particularly in Banyuwangi, where substantial growth has been witnessed. The Banyuwangi Festival, orchestrated annually by the Banyuwangi Regency Government through the Department of Culture and Tourism, stands as a flagship program contributing significantly to the upswing in tourist visits. Despite its prominence, the planning process for the Banyuwangi Festival involves multiple stakeholders, necessitating seamless coordination for comprehensive preparation. Unfortunately, the current reliance on spreadsheet tools diminishes the effectiveness of this process. Consequently, there is a pressing need for an advanced system to proficiently oversee the intricate planning of Banyuwangi Festival events. This research undertakes the ambitious task of conceptualizing and designing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to address these challenges. Leveraging Odoo ERP, with the event module serving as the primary component and the website module as an additional feature, the study adopts the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This method is chosen to align with the specific requirements of the Banyuwangi Regency Culture and Tourism Department, which serves as the central coordinator for the Banyuwangi Festival. The outcome of this research is a sophisticated ERP system meticulously crafted to streamline three crucial processes: the submission of event proposals by the public or external entities, the event registration process, and the scheduling of meetings. This comprehensive ERP solution is poised to significantly enhance the Culture and Tourism Department's ability to manage and optimize the intricate planning of Banyuwangi Festival events, ultimately leading to more efficient business processes

    Analysis of Mental Workload on Counter Sales Using NASA-TLX Method

    PT. XYZ is a service-oriented branch company that provides consumers with a wide range of products. Services provided by this company is divided into three main sections, namely sales, service, and spare part. One of the main parts is sales, which is selling units of cars carried out by counter sales to meet targets. The demand for achieving targets provides a psychological workload for counter sales. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the mental workload in this area. The work measurement method used in this research is NASA-TLX. This method was developed based on the emergence of subjective measurement needs in measuring workload using six indicators, namely mental demand, physical demand, temporal demand, own performance, effort, and level of frustration. The results showed that WWL values ​​were in the range of 88.33-91.67 and had a very high category. Several recommendations for improvement that need to be implemented include evaluating picket scheduling by considering predictions of increased customer visits, conducting routine training and providing motivation, and providing rewards as a form of appreciation for workers according to their achievements

    CV. XYZ produces motor spare parts from various types of metal, spare parts that are often ordered by customers include bostep, underbone, flange and many more variations of motor spare part products that are produced. The data shows the effectiveness of the production of CV. XYZ in 2021 which is on average 100%, this proves that the achievement of production against the production plan cannot be achieved 100%. So there is often an imbalance in the production line. The purpose of this study was to determine the highest efficiency, lowest balance delay and optimal number of workstations from the production line resulting from the two methods, namely Ranged Position Wight (RPW) and Largest Candidate Rule. The type of research used in this research is comparative research. By comparing the percentage of efficiency, balance delay and number of workstations from the two methods, namely Ranged Position Wight (RPW) and Largest Candidate Rule. The data shows that the largest candidate rule method has an efficiency percentage of 107% for bostep, 85% for underbone and 94% for flange respectively. Then the smallest resulting balance delay is also generated from the production line design using the largest candidate rule method with 0.6 minutes each for bostep, 2.4 minutes for underbone and 4.3 minutes for flange. Besides that, the design of workstations using the largest candidate rule method, 2 workstations each for the bostep, 2 workstations for the underbone and 3 work stations for the flange.

    This study identifies the criteria for developing natural tourism potential in Rembang Regency. There are problems, such as on the white sand beach of Wates. There are still attractions that have not been managed, namely the mangroves around the beach that have not been managed and around the tour. There are no lodgings such as hotels and guest houses for tourists, so for now, the distance to the beach can be accessed by vehicle because of quite a distance. To meet the requirements of tourist attraction, five criteria must be met based on the literature study: Attractions, Accommodations, Accessibility, Activities, and Amenities. After obtaining the criteria, a weighting will be carried out for each criterion based on 5A using the AHP approach. Based on the results obtained, it is known that the Accessibility criteria have the highest weight value, followed by the Amenity, Activities, Accommodation and Attractions criteria. As an information technology company, PT. DMC is committed to being a trusted IT and control system company. In working on the project, PT. DMC has not implemented risk management for every software development project it has worked on. Some of the risks that are often faced in working on software projects at PT. DMC are project risks such as technical, cost, and project scheduling which are sometimes not in accordance with the established plan and cause cost and time losses to the company. So in this study using ISO 31000 as a framework in analyzing potential risks. The application of risk assessment consists of 3 stages, namely risk identification, risk analysis, and risk evaluation. The results of this study found that there are 4 risks with 26 sub-risks, of which there are 6 sub-risks that are prioritized and require risk management

    Usulan Perbaikan Keseimbangan Lini di PT. XYZ Menggunakan Moodie-Young dan Ranked Positional Weight untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Lini Produksi

    PT. XYZ is a company that produces X shoes. To meet customer needs, it is necessary to design an effective and efficient production line. The problem experienced by the company is that the production target has not been achieved, which is 80 pairs per hour. The daily output that is achieved is less than the predetermined production target, so it is necessary to analyze the line balance. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the causes of not achieving production targets, to determine the value of line efficiency, balanced delay, and smoothness index for each method and to get the right proposal for the company. The research was conducted by describing precedence diagrams and collecting time data from each work element then testing and calculating the standard time, following which line balancing was carried out using the Ranked Positional Weight and Moodie-young. From the calculation results, the results obtained a better line balance using the Moodie-young method, namely, an increase in line efficiency by 27.45% from 57.67% to 85.12%, a decrease in balanced delay by 25.09% from 39.97%. to 14.88%, and a decrease in the smoothness index of 39.55 from 62.62 to 23.08. In addition, there was a decrease in the number of operators working by 2 people, from 16 operators to 14 operators and a reduction in the existing work stations (SK) by 4 SK, from 12 SK to 8 SK

    Perbaikan Kondisi Keseimbangan Lintasan Produksi Dengan Penerapan Metode Genetic Algorithm Pada Lintasan Produksi Muffler K-59J PT XYZ

    PT. XYZ merupakan sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang otomotif dan sudah berjalan sebagai supplier komponen otomotif untuk beberapa perusahaan otomotif terkemuka di Indonesia. Kebanyakan proses produksi pada PT. XYZ sudah berjalan dengan baik. Tetapi terdapat salah satu sub produk mereka yang memiliki kendala dalam proses produksinya yaitu muffler K-59J. Pada lintasan produksi muffler K-59J dinilai kurang optimal dalam proses produksinya. Hal tersebut dilihat dari banyak kendala yang timbul selama proses produksi berlangsung. Mulai dari terjadi penumpukan (bottleneck), Target produksi harian sering tidak tercapai sehingga sering terjadi waktu kerja tambahan (overtime), dan jika dilihat secara data nilai efisiensinya hanya sebesar 58,81 %. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performa dari lintasan produksi tersebut. Oleh karena itu diusulkan metode Algoritma Genetik yang bersifat komputerisasi untuk meningkatkan performanya. Proses penyelesaian penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bantuan program matlab dalam pengerjaan metode Algoritma Genetik. Pada prosesnya, dilakukan beberapa tahapan mulai dari membuat representasi genetik, menyeleksi populasi induk, melakukan rekombinasi dan mutasi, dan regenerasi populasi. Tetapi terdapat sedikit perbedaan pada penlitian ini dimana populasi awal yang dibentuk merupakan populasi yang sudah tersaring kedalam syarat-syarat keseimbangan lintasan antara lain sesuai dengan diagram alurnya, dan jumlah waktu stasiun kerja tidak melebihi cycle time. Dari hasil pengerjaan metode Algoritma Genetik tersebut, didapatkan besar efisiensi lintasan sebesar 74,07 % dengan total stasiun kerja sebanyak 18 stasiun kerja. dengan demikian nilai efisiensi lintasan berhasil ditingkatkan sebesar 15,26 %
