Perancangan Aplikasi “Family Pass!” Sebagai Alat Bantu Dalam Pengasuhan Anak
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi mobile bernama Family Pass, yang mana, aplikasi ini dibuat sebagai media dan sarana dalam membantu aktivitas pengasuhan terhadap anak. Aplikasi ini mencoba menyelesaikan masalah sosial yang timbul akibat globalisasi, yaitu meningkatnya tuntutan pekerjaan orang tua yang kemudian berdampak pada menurunnya tingkat kualitas kegiatan pengasuhan anak antara orang tua dan anak. Diharapkan dengan adanya aplikasi pengasuhan anak Family Pass ini, orang tua tetap dapat melakukan kegiatan pengasuhan secara lebih maksimal dan efektif sehingga dapat memberikan dampak positif untuk anak maupun orang tua itu sendiri
The Effect of UTAUT and IRT Factors on the Digital Fishery Platforms Acceptanc
Full text linkThe background of this research is the weakness of the marine product supply chain which reduces the interest of the Indonesian people to consume abundant fish. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of UTAUT and IRT factors on digital fishery platform acceptance. The study was conducted in the provinces of Banten and West Java using a convenience sampling technique. The data collected were 240 samples, consists of 151 samples from Banten province, and 89 samples from West Java province. The results of the study prove that three UTAUT factors, namely performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence significantly affect the intention to use digital platforms. Three IRT factors have a significant effect on resistance to using digital platforms. However, this study also shows low resistance and high acceptance on the digital fishery platform, so that the effect of resistance on the intention to use digital fishery platforms is proven to be negative and significant. The novelty of this research is the combination of UTAUT and IRT theory on digital platform acceptance. The practical benefits of this research can be used as a basis for decision-making to build a digital fishery platform that will benefit marine fish consumers and fishermen.
Analisis Pengadaan Pintu Air dan Pompa Air Untuk Penanggulangan Banjir di Perumahan Graha Bunga Pondok Kacang Barat Tangerang Selatan
Full text linkPenelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan keresahan warga Perumahan Graha Bunga yang selalu dilanda banjir akibat hujan lebat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi dalam penanggulangan banjir yang terjadi di Perumahan Graha Bunga dengan percobaan pemasangan pompa dan pintu air yang di keluarkan melalui pompa dan pintu air. Data-data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data curah hujan, mencari elevasi saluran drainase menggunakan Google Earth,saluran drainase, kapasitas pompa dan ukuran pintu air. Untuk mendapatkan curah hujan perjam dilakukan perhitungan dengan rumus mononobe. Hasil simulasi yang peneliti telah lakukan menyatakan bahwa pintu air dan pompa mampu untuk menanggulangi banjir di Perumahan Graha Bunga. Kesimpulannya adalah pemasangan pompa dan pintu air diperlukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan banjir di Perumahan Graha Bunga tersebut
A Study On The Use Of Shipping Container Booth As A Substitution Of Street Vendors Cart
Full text linkThe present study focused on the development of a compact living concept that is applied in commercial facilities, especially shipping container-booth. This study aimed to investigate the organization of container booths in Solo area from interior design perspectives, including its visual aesthetics, visual brand identity, and space function and organization of the container booth. The result of the study may depict the advantages of container booths, compared to conventional street food carts. This study was expected to provide adequate data to establish a new revenue-generating unit. To this end, a qualitative descriptive method was applied to obtain in-depth data related to the exterior and interior aspects of the booth. This study showed that container booth holds some advantages related to visual aesthetic aspects since it could be easily added with aesthetic elements for promotion media. Container booth also allows a division of area that supports the seller's activity
Kajian Karakteristik Visual Pakaian Tokoh Pada Perancangan Buku Cerita Bergambar Sejarah Perjuangan Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa
Full text linkBuku cerita bergambar dengan tema sejarah adalah sebuah media penyampaian pengetahuan bertema sejarah sebuah tokoh dalam era tertentu. Salah satu tokoh yang dijadikan dalam perancangan buku cerita bergambar dengan tema sejarah adalah sejarah perjuangan Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Sejarah perjuangan Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa yang merupakan tokoh pahlawan yang dikenal gigih melakukan perlawanan terhadap penjajah Belanda. Perjuangan Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa melawan Belanda di Serang, Banten membuat beliau diberi gelar Pahlawan Nasional oleh pemerintah Indonesia. Namun demikian, diperlukan sebuah kajian visual karakteristik pakaian karakter pada perancangan buku bergambar perjuangan Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa agar memahami ilustrasi pakaian yang dikenakan karakter dalam perancangan buku bergambar tersebut dapat menghadirkan suasana sejarah tokoh Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Kesimpulannya, melalui analisa visual karakteristik pakaian tokoh dalam buku bergambar ini digunakan perancangan kombinasi metafora mimesis dan stilasi dengan penelusuran sejarah Sultan Agung Tirtayasa, agar dapat menghadirkan suasana sejarah yang juga disesuaikan dengan target market pengguna buku cerita bergambar ini
Representasi Feminisme Dalam Karakter Pahlawan Perempuan Captain Marvel
Full text linkAbstract — One of the film genres with an extraordinary development is film with the theme of heroism. Various film producer companies such as Marvel Entertainment, Warner Brothers, and Disney are competing to produce hero-themed films that always attract the attention of the audience. However, Marvel Entertainment has put more emphasis on male hero characters, until in 2019 there is a female hero character who has her own film, Captain Marvel. This is interesting because usually women in films are shown only as supporting characters for male heroes. Therefore, this study aims to see how feminism is represented in the character of Captain Marvel. This study will use Roland Barthes' Semiotics research method to see the symbols used to describe the values of Feminism displayed by this character, supported by Communication Theory and Feminism Theory related to mass media, especially films. The results showed that the character of Captain Marvel is depicted as a female figure who has greater strength than men and shows some values of radical and liberal feminism. In the film, Marvel Entertainment unfortunately has to show that Captain Marvel must have super power before recognized or considered superior to men.Keywords: Film, Feminism, Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel, Roland Barthes SemioticAbstrak — Salah satu genre film dengan perkembangan yang luar biasa adalah film yang bertemakan kepahlawanan. Berbagai perusahaan produsen film seperti Marvel Entertainment, Warner Brothers, hingga Disney berlomba-lomba menghasilkan film-film bertema kepahlawanan yang selalu menarik perhatian penonton. Namun selama ini Marvel Entertainment lebih menekankan pada tokoh-tokoh pahlawan pria, hingga pada tahun 2019 ada karakter pahlawan perempuan yang memiliki filmnya sendiri yaitu Captain Marvel. Hal ini menarik karena biasanya perempuan dalam film ditampilkan hanya sebagai karakter pendukung pahlawan pria. Karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana representasi Feminisme dalam sosok karakter Captain Marvel. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode penelitian Semiotika Roland Barthes untuk melihat simbol-simbol yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan nilai-nilai Feminisme saja yang ditampilkan oleh karakter tersebut, didukung dengan Teori Komunikasi dan Teori Feminisme yang berkaitan dengan media massa terutama film. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter Captain Marvel digambarkan sebagai sosok perempuan yang memiliki kekuatan yang besar dari laki-laki dan menunjukkan beberapa nilai feminism radikal maupun liberal. Dalam film yang diteliti, Marvel Entertainment sayangnya harus menampilkan Captain Marvel memiliki kekuatan super terlebih dahulu untuk dapat diakui atau dianggap lebih hebat dari pria. The Influence of Self-efficacy on Resilience in Students Who Work in Thesis
Full text linkStudents who are working on their final project often faced with various problems and pressures. They need to build self-efficacy to be able to increase confidence in achieving something. Self-efficacy is an individual’s belief in their ability to organize and take steps in solving certain problems or tasks. Individuals with high self-efficacy view difficult tasks as challenges to face rather than as threats to avoid. Respondents are highly committed to achieving its goals, respondents will also invest a high level of effort and strategic thinking to deal with failure. Resilience is the ability to thrive in the face of adversity in every individual whilst facing problems or pressure. By increasing resilience, humans can develop life skills such as communicating, realistic abilities in making life plans, and being able to take the right steps for their lives. This study was conducted to determine whether self-efficacy has an effect on resilience. The research design used in this study is a quantitative research design with a sample of 75 people and the population of this study is students who are working on a thesis. The data were first analysed for validity, reliability, and followed by simple regression analysis. The results showed that self-efficacy had an effect on the resilience of 30,5% and a significant value of p = .000 (p<0.05), testing the effect of the dimensions of self-efficacy on resilience showed results that strength has the greatest influence on resilience
Dalihan Na Tolu Sebagai Konsep Dasar Rancangan Jembatan Tano Ponggol (Studi Kelayakan Jembatan Tano Ponggol)
Full text linkLake Toba National Tourism Strategic Area (NTSA) requires tourism relevant road and bridge to support tourism. For this reason, the road segment for Tele - Pangururan - Nainggolan - Onan Runggu - Lagundi - Tomok - Ambarita - Pangururan was implemented and plans to build the Tano Ponggol Bridge in Pangururan District, Samosir Regency as land access to Samosir Island. The government plans to replace the Tano Ponggol bridge as well as make it a landmark for Pangururan Tourism City. The local wisdom approach to the bridge design is put on the concept of kinship which is owned by all ethnic groups around the Lake Toba area. The principles of the kinship concept in Batak culture are: Dalihan Na Tolu: elek marboru, somba marhula hula, and manat mardongan tubu. These three principles are manifested in the design of a three-legged bridge. The results of the multi-criteria analysis show that the greatest value in alternative 3, namely replacing the main pilon bridge and cable stayed bridge using a concrete box structure 47.5+95+47.5 m (the erection balance cantilever method), the architectural aesthetic concept "Dalihan Na Tolu” with the construction of three symmetrical parallel pillars as bridge accessories, so that the purpose the bridge design which is also a landmark can still be achieved
Analisa Visual Desain Sampul Album Rekaman Glenn Fredly: Romansa ke Masa Depan
Full text linkAbstract — The design of the record album cover is a visual medium of the musician to the audience. The image of the musician can also showed from the album cover design. This research specifically focused on visual design of Glenn Fredly's record album 'Romance Into the Future', qualitative method approach is used in this research by using of visual analysis. Analysis is done by describing the design elements and the design principles applied to the album cover, in addition, the analysis is also obtained by doing a comparison of the visuals of Glenn Fredly's previous album. This research is useful to review album cover design with a visual approach that applied the principles of graphic design.Keywords: Album Cover Design, Glenn Fredly, Pop MusicAbstrak — Desain sampul album rekaman merupakan medium visual dari musisi kepada audiens. Citra musisi juga dapat terbentuk dari apa yang ada pada desain sampul album tersebut. Penelitian ini secara khusus fokus membahas visual desain sampul album rekaman Glenn Fredly ‘Romansa Ke Masa Depan’ sebagai bahan analisis, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan cara analisis visual. Analisa dilakukan dengan menjabarkan elemen desain dengan prinsip desain yang diterapkan pada sampul album ini, selain itu, analisa juga diperoleh dengan melakukan perbandingan dari visual album terdahulu Glenn Fredly. Gender And Design: Gender Bias In Agrotechnology
Full text linkAbstract — The role of women as farmers has existed in the history of human life for centuries. However, the Green Revolution made the role of women who were previously trusted to select seeds, weed, plant, fertilize, harvest and pound rice replaced by the role of technology. As with other designs and technologies, there has been a gender bias, so the researchers suspect that there is a gender bias in the design of agrotechnologywhich has an impact on the marginalization of female farmers. Through a literature review, researchers explored gender bias in design of agrotechnology and its impact on female farmers. Design of agrotechnology is still gender biased because it was designed without taking women's ergonomics. In fact, women have different ergonomic characteristics from men, but that does not mean they do not have the capacity to farm. Feminization of agriculture will be a profitable job opportunity for women if it is accompanied by the feminization intervention of agricultural machine and tool.
