Can we measure university brand pride? – Steps towards adapting a brand pride measurement scale for higher education
Critical thinking trends in STEM learning for SDGs: A bibliometric study comparing scopus and dimensions data
This study represents a bibliometric analyze comparing research trends on critical thinking in STEM education that support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using Scopus and Dimensions data from 2019 to 2024. The results reveal differences in author collaboration patterns, publication volumes, and research focuses. Scopus emphasizes keywords such as learning, sustainability, and systems thinking, indicating an orientation toward global educational transformation to meet SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Dimensions highlights practical implementation through student skills development and teacher competence, reflecting attention to educational practice and human development. Both databases confirm that critical thinking is a central component in promoting STEM learning to address complex global challenges. The integration of technology and systems thinking in STEM learning is increasingly seen as essential for achieving SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). This study concludes that combining technological innovation with critical thinking-based STEM education is fundamental for preparing future generations capable of solving sustainability issues. These findings can guide educators and researchers in designing curricula and learning strategies aligned with the SDGs, particularly emphasizing the development of higher-order thinking skills in students

Hybrid Molecules of p53 Activators and Protoflavones to Target Multiple Myeloma
Multiple myeloma is a rare blood cancer that develops from abnormal plasma cells in the bone marrow. Treatment of multiple myeloma remains an enormous challenge. In this work, hybrid compounds are developed and studied for their potential use against multiple myeloma. The compounds are designed to act by a dual mechanism of action, activation of the p53 pathway, and inhibition of the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3‐related protein (ATR). To evaluate the selectivity for the p53 pathway, the compounds are first evaluated in an isogenic pair of HCT116 colon cancer cell lines, with and without p53, and in two breast cancer cell lines expressing different forms of p53. Then, the growth inhibitory effect of the hybrid compounds is tested against the multiple myeloma cell lines RPMI 8226 (mutant p53) and MM.1S (wild‐type p53). At the same time, compound 15 is confirmed to inhibit doxorubicin‐ but not UV‐induced DNA damage response via the ATR/Chk1 signaling pathway. The hybrids show lower IC 50 values compared to the fragments alone, highlighting the potential for using hybrid molecules containing two pharmacophores with complementary activities. These results suggest that novel hybrid molecules may serve as new leads against multiple myeloma
Iskolai étkeztetés és szülői egészségattitűdök egy állami és egy egyházi iskolában – személyiségdimenziók és étkezési szokások összefüggései [School meals and parental attitudes to health in a state and in a church school – correlations between personality dimensions and eating habits]
Módszer: A vizsgálat 2024. július 6-tól szeptember 30-ig, a Bét Menachem Héber–Magyar Két Tanítási Nyelvű Általános Iskola és a Hild József Általános Iskola tanulóinak szülei körében történt. A kérdőív saját megfogalmazású kérdéseket és validált mérőeszközöket tartalmazott. A kutatásetikai engedély száma: BM/14826-3/2024. Orv Hetil. 2025; 166(43): 1706–1714. | Introduction: For the proper development of children, a healthy diet is essential, as it can improve their performance,
concentration, and prevent overweight and obesity.
Objective: The aim of the study is to assess parents’ health-related attitudes and health behaviors in relation to per-
sonality dimensions and two types of schools (state- and church-maintained) as well as to examine how dietary habits
influence the evaluation of school meals and the health behaviors of children. Method: The survey was conducted from July 6 to September 30, 2024, among the parents of students at the Bét
Menachem Hebrew–Hungarian Bilingual Elementary School and the Hild József Elementary School. The question-
naire included self-formulated questions and a validated measurement tool. Research ethics approval number:
BM/14826-3/2024. We used the JAMOVI statistical program for data processing and analysis (chi-square, Mann–
Whitney, Fisher’s exact tests, analysis of variance, p<0.05).
Results: A total of 166 parents completed the questionnaire (83 from public schools and 83 from Jewish religious
schools). Based on our findings, it can be concluded that the parents of students attending religious schools have
significantly higher health-related attitudes compared to the parents of students attending public schools (p = 0.002).
The parents of students in public institutions are significantly more confident, exhibit better physical activity, and
have healthier eating habits.
Discussion: The catering for students attending Jewish religious schools requires greater attention and awareness, but
it also means additional expenses for parents. Here, students have access to more carbohydrate-rich and varied foods,
and fruit consumption is also more common. The development of healthy eating habits is more supported by the
catering in Jewish religious schools, so it would be important to pay special attention to the education of students
and parents in public schools, particularly tailored to their personality dimensions. A highly qualified school nurse is
