    PENGARUH ORGANIZATIONAL ETHICS TERHADAP JOB SATISFACTION PADA BANK-BANK SWASTA DI JAKARTA

    The influence of organizational ethics toward job satisfaction with Standardized Beta (à) is very high (= 0,856) and Adjusted R? = 0.732 and significant at level of significance 5%. It represents, that the contribution of organizational ethics toward job satisfaction on the private banks is 73,2 %. Among the three dimensions which form organizational ethics, the organization\u27s ethical climate (â= 0,429) appears to be the biggest influence and the association between ethical behavior and career success (â= 0,376); and top management support for ethical behavior (a= 0,113) as the lowest influence.The managerial implication from this research is that the private banks\u27 managers can give the more attention to every dimension above. Advises for the future researchers is to do another research that related to the human resource development, such as the link between job satisfaction and organizational commitment

    The objective of the research is to observe the people perception towards the capitalist economic system, syariah banking and syariah economic education.. 318 respondents mostley live in Jabotabek consists college students, academic, private employees, entrepreneurs, military of force, and public employees. This research was using the closed questionnaire technique which was distributed on September 25h to December 2005. This research showed that the people has rationalized the capitalist economic system and its danger, and also has rationalized thet the he oyanan economic system. They also expects the government to start considerate the changes of economic system from the capitalist to syariah system. So far, socialization has enough and less rationalized about the at many peopie are not aware of them have accounts on syariah bank and became customer not because they are Moslem. Most of them, 52.5% are still considering that banking interest perceived appropriate to Islamic law. Therefore, they concluded that the government and the department of national education have contributed only small portion in the Syariah economic development and desires the Syariah economic education to start on the early stage, which is from the elementary school

    This paper explores factors that infiuence the customersatisfaction in the service area. There are 5 dimentions service quality: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empa- thy.     "Even Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan and other countries have established and experienced in Islamic bank earlier than of Indonesia, history and development of Islamic bank in Indonesia is unique and spectacular. Even Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country the first Islamic bank was established in 1992 under strong support of Presiden Soeharto. Then other two banks were established (Bank Syariah Mandiri in 1999 and Bank Syariah Mega Indonesia 2004. Bank Indonesia as the indonesia\u27s central bank has opended the door to conventional bank to open their syariah unit Islamic banks among others: BRI, BNI, BII, Danamon, IFI, Permata, Bukopin, BTN, Niaga, bank DKI dan bank Jabar. Market share of Islamic bank in Indonesia in 2006 was 1,52 %. The paper stuies how An Islamic bank provide service and what the perception of customers on 7 dimensions of service quality: "voluntere, employee competence, security, retiability, emphaly, responsiveness and tangible. Using survey method and field study the study shows that satisfactory was in bank information, service employees, syariah implementation, emphaty and responsiveness.     The purpose of this research is to observe determinant factors for dividend policy and to analyze wether signalling theory can influence dividend policy for go public companies in Indonesia. The sample is all company listed in LQ45 which distribute cash dividend at 2000 and still distribute it at 2002. Empirically, it found that, cash dividend policy in go public companies in Indonesia is influenced by profitability, certanty investation probability, firm size and capital structure. Moreover, "signaling theory\u27 which is rise up by Aharony and Swary (1980) not fully applicable for go public companies in Indonesia

    To be successful in this globally and rapidly changing environment, organizations must formutate strategic plans that are consistentwith theirinvestment in and use of manufacturing technology. This studypropose that organizations that invest in advanced manufacturing technology and develop mechanisms for manufacturing managers to participate in strategy fomulation will have improved competitive capabilities and better performance than fims that do not. Using 14 manufacture\u27s sample, this study develops validand reliable measures of advancedmanufacturing technology and manufacturing manager\u27s participation in strategy formulation as well as competitive advantage of a firm. Rank Speraman\u27s results show that the relationships between a fim\u27s practices in these are found to be statistically significant and positive.
