    As one type of investment porfollos, the paper discusses the comperative of financial perfor- mance of syariah mutual fund and conventional mutual fund.Acase study, descriptive method is used as research method, it isexpected to describe about the character of syariah mutual fund and conventional mutual fund. Research was conducted from January 1. 1998 to De- cember 31, 2001. Syariah Investment fund is compared to Danareksa mawar (conventional) under one investment management by PT. Danareksa Investment Management. Perfor- mance evaluation was based on: Direct comparative method, Sharpe method, Treynor and Jensen method. The paper shows that đuring 1998-2001 the financial performance of "Reksadana Syariah" was better than Reksadana Mawar Convensional. However, based on our preleminary survey in the beginning of 2003, when IHSG increased, PT. Danareksa Invenstment Management liquidated the Danareksa Syariah. In rebound market shows that the financial performance of the Conventional Reksadana Mawar is better than Reksadana syariah

    The Increasing function of credit card and it\u27s role in the modem economic society, including i Indonesia. One of the most important thing in the credit card markeling is the role of salesperson in convincing the consumer for using this credit card as proporrtionally and responsible. The research about this salesperson interpersonal relationship has the objective to explore the influence of company characteristic, salesperson relationshipcharaceristic, and service quality for relationship quality and also the role of relalionship quatity as a mediating varlable. By usingthe methodological survey, this research has been succeeded in getting the sample by purposive to the 379 credit card holder. The data collection method has done by some questioner and hypothesis testing with the linear structural method which calculated with the slatistic program AMOS for Windows. The hypothesis testing about positive correlation relationship in between company charaderistic, salesperson relationship characteristic, and the service quality also supported the first hypothesis statement. In the testing of the influence of company characteristic, salesperson relationship character- islic and service quality in the relationshp quality, and also the influence of company characteristic, salesperson relationship, service quallty and the relation between relationship quality and loyalty. Salesperson rlationship characteristic also ha less and negativ influence with the relationship quality and loyally. Oly services qualliy and strong influence with the rlation quality and loyalty, like the raltionship quality has strang influence with the relation quality and loyalty, ike the relationship qualitay with the signtficance loyalty. About the role of relafionship quaity as a mediating varlable to the loyalty is as the same as the fourth hypothesis

    This Research conducted by using the data of 76 Bank Devisa Nasional, These banks report the data to the Central Bank relatively more complete than that of other banks and they have variative input- output structure. Bank Devisa Asing & Campuran are excluded from this study because it considered that the capital structure and fiancé of them are still closely related to headquater in overseas. The result of the study, Shours that before The economic crisis there are 45 banks which have relatively hight efficiency score (100%), and 27 Bank Devisa Nasional have efficiency score under 100%, After the economic crisis the efficiency score is declined, proved by the fact that only 27 Bank devisa Nasional which have 100 % score efficiency, and 42 Banks experianced. The 30 % declining efficiency score. While 22 banks remain stable. Nevertheles, 8 Banks increase efficiency score during The economic crisis, named BTN, Panin, Bira, SGP,,Namura, Hastin.. comparing the empirical result of this study by using DEA/Non parametric with the previous study/parametric by using the similar data, we come up with the conclusion that both approach yielded the relatively similar result. In the other word, this study support the previous research by Andreas Resti, Bergemo (1997)

    The result of research, found out that during the period of 1990- 1996, in every province in Indonesia, Human Development Index (HDI), Gender-Related Development Index (GDI), and Gender Empowerment Measure (GEM) are going up and Human Poverty Index (HPI) is down significantly and human development in Indonesia is getting better. There is a significant and linear correlation between human development performance profile and labor force productivity in Indonesia in 1996 and classified into moderatelly high correlation.Then the use of composite index like HDI, GDI, GEM, and HPI reflecting the complex reality is considered very important Evaluation for improvement and development is still required.     The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between job stress instructors who are working in training center unit of PT. Bank ABC.Tbk with the types of personality, personal role\u27s conflict and interest in education. The dependent variable of this study is job stress and independent variables are the types of personality, personal role\u27s conflict and interest in education. This study was conducted in training centre unit of who are working in the unit of PT. Bank ABC.Tbk. They are holders of Tbk by carrying out a survey of 30 (thirty) instructors 30 educational disciplines who were selected randomly. Time period of this study was from Februedial correlation and i degrees from undergraduate studies (Strata-1) of various to March 2005 and data analyzed through simple regression multiple regressions. The research findings are as follows: (1). there is a positive correlation between tynoe correlation between personal role\u27s conflict and job stress. (2). there is a positive Correlation between personal roles conflict and job stress, (3). but there is no significant correlation between interest in education and job stress. Furthermore, (4). there is positive correlation between types of personality and personal role\u27s conflict towards job stress. in conclusion of this research that job stress instructors who are working in training center unit of PT. Bank ABC.Tbk can be affected by the types of personality and personal role\u27s conflict

    This research observed Ihe influence of Motivation and Job Vision and Service Failure in the past towards the Enhancement of Service Quality on Eccnomic Faculy, Trisakti University, Jakarta. This research was implemented based on the previous research by Hays and Hill (2001). The research observes whether (motivation and employee\u27s job vision and service failure in the past) individually and constinuously lowards service quality in the presentand also to observe whatsortof efforts thal could be implemented by Economics Faculty, Trisakti University, Jakarta in enhancing its service quality. Dala collecting was obtained by distributing questionnaire towards 380 students of Economic Faculy, Trisakti University, Jakarta on 3 (three) majors which are: Accounting, Management, Economics. Number of samples were determined by using Slovin formula, while the sample selecting was implemented by using convenience sampling technique. Data analysis method were used in this research was implemented through several test such as instrumenttest (validity and reliability), correlation test, determinant coefficient test, linear regression test, hypotheses tests (t-test and F-test) and also classical assumption test (multicolinerity, heteroskedacity, auto correlation tests). Software was used in processing data is program version 13. Hypotheses were used with the significance rate of 0.05 and the confidence level of 95% The result of the data analysis which was implemented by using several tests, showed that there is a significantinfluence of motivation and employee\u27s job vision and service failure in the past towards the enhancement service quality in the present. The result showed that there is a significant influence between molivation and employee\u27s job vision and servicefailure in the past continously lowards service quality in the present. In addition, in order to improve service quality in the environment, the writer has provided seven efforts that could be implemented by Economics Faculy, Trisakti University

    Abstrak  TujuanTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji perbedaan niat untuk melakukan pembelian ulang antara pengguna smartphone merek Samsung dan merek Oppo.Desain/Metodologi/PendekatanPenelitian ini menggunakan model pengujian Mann Whityney untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan berdasarkan kuesioner yang telah diisi oleh responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sebesar 50 responden. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan secara self administered di lokasi pusat jual beli telepon selular.Hasil PenelitianPenelitian ini berhasil membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan niat untuk melakukan pembelian ulang atara pengguna samrtphone merek Samsung dengan Oppo.Keterbaruan/Nilai. Meskipun tidak mempermasalahkan harga, namun apabila ada suatu produk yang mampu memberikan fitur – fitur yang tidak kalah lengkap, dan bahkan dijual dengan harga yang lebih rasional, maka ada kecenderungan konsumen untuk beralih menggunakan merek yang lain. Keywords: smartphone, pembelian ulang, harga yang dipersepsika

    The paper studies the comparablity of organizational commitment according to different individual characteristic consists of sexes, age, education, tenure, mamiage status and dependants.  The organizational commitment is measured by three dimensions: continuance, affective, and normative commitments.  The samples are students of the University of Indonesia and University of Trisakti.  By using ANOVA and Post-Hoc Pair wise Muliple Comparison and Independent T-test, the study concludes that organizational commitment is differed based on individual characteristics on of sexes, age, education, tenure, marriage status and dependants.  However, based on partial organizational commitment, the study includes that age, sexes, educational level, marriage status and total dependants show the distinction on affective commitment Cnly in educational level shows the difference on tenure
