The growing importance of online learning in teacher education highlights the need to assess its impact on teacher professionalism. This study examines the effects of online learning within the in-service Teacher Professional Education (TPE) program at a State Islamic Higher Education institution in Indonesia. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research investigates online learning practices, curriculum adaptation, instructor preparation, and professionalism development. The quantitative analysis shows a significant, moderate correlation between online learning and teacher professionalism (R = 0.573), accounting for 32.9% of the variance (R² = 0.329), with a high statistical significance (p < 0.001). Qualitative results support these findings, emphasizing the role of relevant course materials, learning tool development, and instructor feedback in enhancing professionalism. Curriculum adaptation and thorough preparation by lecturers and mentor teachers are also identified as critical to the program\u27s success. While challenges such as limited interaction and internet access persist, online learning has proven to improve teacher professionalism by offering greater accessibility and flexibility. This study concludes that online learning, when implemented with the right strategies, can significantly elevate teacher professionalism. The implications for Islamic education emphasize the potential of online platforms to strengthen teacher development and educational quality

The memorization and understanding of the Qur\u27an play a vital role in shaping a Qur\u27anic generation. This study aims to explore the memorization patterns in the Tahfidz and Tarjamah Qur\u27an programs at Darul Hufadz Islamic Senior High School. Using a qualitative research approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation from 38 informants, including the principal, five mentor teachers, and 32 students. Data analysis followed a process of reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings indicate that the Tahfidzul Qur\u27an program follows a daily memorization pattern known as "One Day One Verse," where students memorize one verse and its translation each day. The program emphasizes regular recitation, memorization, comprehension, and the practical application of the Qur\u27an\u27s teachings, with parental oversight. Collaborative reading sessions between teachers and students, coupled with repetition—where verses are repeated over 40 times and listened to more than 60 times—reinforce the memorization process. This structured approach effectively cultivates a Qur\u27anic generation, ensuring deep engagement with the Qur\u27an. The study highlights the importance of consistent memorization routines and active teacher involvement in fostering both cognitive and spiritual development among students

Stunting, characterized by impaired growth and development in children under five years old, represents a significant global nutritional issue, particularly in Indonesia. This study aims to explore stunting prevention and child protection from the perspective of Islamic education. Employing a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach, the research seeks to understand and interpret specific events and social situations related to stunting and child protection within the Indonesian context. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation, specifically involving lecturers at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The findings reveal that the incidence of stunting in Indonesia remains alarmingly high compared to other middle-income countries, leading to decreased cognitive abilities, heightened health risks, and diminished future productivity. The research concludes that stunting prevention and child protection are critical national programs that require synergistic implementation to secure a better future for children and ensure their right to quality education. From the perspective of Islamic education, these efforts are intrinsically linked, as Islamic teachings emphasize the importance of proper care, provision of halal and nutritious food, which positively influence both the physical and mental well-being of children. The study highlights the need for integrating Islamic educational principles in national stunting prevention strategies to foster holistic child development
