THE CHARACTER EDUCATION IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION VIEWPOINT
This paper intends to study the concept of character and moral education according to the terminology, approaches, and methods of learning from the point of view of Islamic education. The approach used in this paper is a discussion of the linguistic (al-lughah). The results showed that the conceptual basis of character education in the curriculum in Indonesia too much because it has a number of terminological problems. The concept of morals, values, and characters have a special meaning that may be different from one another. As a result, the concept of the character presented in the curriculum subject is far from the actual context of the moral and less with actually happening in the community. Character education is also too much use of the approach and methods indoctrinasi than critical, reflective and empirical and is not integrated with the system and school culture.Â
A MODEL OF MANAGEMENT STRATEGY FOR A QUALITY LEARNING IN ISLAMIC HIGHER EDUCATION (IHE)
The quality of Islamic education is generally influenced by several factors, among other things: leadership, organizational culture, lecturercompetence versus faculty student ratio, dynamic curriculum, library collections and learning facilities. The factors above are most likely to influence and impact the quality of education process in general. Developing a model of management strategy for quality learning is a minimal effort to improve quality graduates of a university. The model was developed on the basis of the following theories: (1) transformative leadership (Tichy and Devana (1997), (2) strategy of learning organization, (Peter (2002), and (3) a quality-based management (Griffin, 2004). Furthermore, the model shares the following characteristics: (1) a quality learning emerges from an effective and efficient management of academic service; (2) developing management of a quality learning is continuous lecture development; (3) lecture plays an important role in developing a quality learning; (4) a quality learning stipulates that a leader be loyal and committed to their job, wise and have a sense of democracy
ISLAMIC INTERVENTION PROGRAM MODEL REDUCTION OF BULYYING BEHAVIOR AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS PEKANBARU
This study aims to determine the cause of frequent violence in the education and to find behaviour typology leading to bullying that often occur at school and produce appropriate Islamic intervention program model for bullying. This study uses research and development that only focused on hypothetical phase. Writer collects data from several existing Senior High School in Pekanbaru-Riau. Data collection techniques use questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation. To obtain valid data, the researcher also conducted triangulation. The study concluded that intervention model can be done by streamline the peer coaching, religious mentoring intensively periodically that conducted school with involving counselling and religious teachers and maximize co-operation between parents, teachers and schools to make effective group counselling, mediation and use of ICT in the learning process
THE EDUCATIONAL IDEOLOGY OF INDONESIAN AND MALAYSIAN PESANTRENS: A STUDY OF AL MUNAWIR AND PASIR TUMBOH
The research mainly focuses on the comparative analysis towards the ideology and epistemology applied in Al Munawir Krapyak, Yogyakarta, Indonesia and Pasir Tumboh, Kelantan, Malaysia; both are pesantrens or traditional education institution-also called islamic boarding school. The study denotes that the curriculum utilized in al munawir pesantren is integrated Islam and science. While Pasir Tumboh employs the classical curriculum called kitab Jawi (Melayu). The epistemological base of curriculum of Al Munawir is Burhani-Irfani (demonstrative-gnostic) which in turn leads to transcendental contextual mindsets. It is rational religious ideology that modifies the methodology of Ahlussunnah Waljamaah emphasizing moderate and open-minded islamic teaching. On the other hand, the epistemological base of curriculum of Pasir Tumboh is Bayani-Irfani (explanative-gnostic) producing religious conservative ideology which is textual-trancendental, pseudo-exclusive and normative in observing the methods of ahlussunnah waljamaah

This study stems from the assumption that Arabic is the source of Islamic culture. the Relationship between them is so close and indeed they are inseparable. Arabic serves as a vessel of Islam and it goes without saying that it is used to deliver Qur\u27an. In addition it is used by the prophet for communication. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the relationship between Arabic and Islamic thought particularly Islamic educatio. This study applied library research by examining the discourse and literature related to the research problem put forward. The results of this study reinforce the influence of Arabic on the development of Islamic education particularly its influence in studying and exploring the Islamic sciences. The  establishment of various Islamic educational institutions as a place to learn Arabic , Islamic thought and other Islamic sciences supports the result of this study.Â

This study aims to test the effectiveness of using suggestopedia method in teaching listening skills for students of Madrasah Al – Hikmah, Malang. The focus of this study was to answer some questions: 1) how is the application of suggestopedia method in listening; 2 ) how is the effectiveness of using suggestopedia method in listening, especially the ability to distinguish stressing an intonation and the ability to understand the Arabic language fragment of reading. It applied quantitative approach with an experimental design by comparing experimental and control class. To gain the data, It applied some techniques, including: observation, interview, doing test (pre and post), and questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed through the following steps: determining test for normality of data, determining test the homogeneity of data, analyzing of the pre-test results, analyzing post-test results, analyzing the results before and after treatment, and a comparing analysis on final results from experimental and control class. The findings show that: (a) The suggestopedia method is appropriate to upgrade students’ skill in listening. (b) it boosts learners’ ability in listening right word for for 2nd eksperimental class is effective but it did not work for 1st class experiment. (c) The impact of suggestopedia method to the students’ ability in discerning word stressing in sentences for both experimental classes is effective. (d) The impact of suggestopedia method used to students’ ability in recognizing script played on audio media in normal speed for both experimental classes is effective. Â
التضمنات التربوية ÙÙŠ الØÙˆØ§Ø± بين الآباء والأبناء ÙÙŠ القرآن الكريم
The research starts from the assumption that the al-Qur\u27an is the source of the main points of education. The research aims to uncover the stylistic values and educational implications of the conversation between father and son in the verses of the Holy Qur’an. The method used in this research is content analysis. The results showed that the conversation between father and son are available in 16 verses. The stylistic values include the jumlah insyãiyyah like al-amr, an-nahyi, al-istifhãm, an-nidã, and at-tamanny which is coming out from its original meaning. Additionally, it contains jumlah khabariyyah that comes out from its original meaning, al-îjãz wa \u27l-ithnãb, al-Qasr, al-Fashl wa\u27 l-washl, al-kinãyah, ath-thibãq, al-jinãs, at-tasybîh, al-isti\u27ãrah, at-tatmîm, and al-muqãbalah. While the educational values include the curriculum, teaching methods and techniques, the basics of good relationships and communication.Â
BIMBINGAN KONSELING DI MADRASAH
This paper intends to offer a model - concept integrative - comprehensive guidance in MI that no format. The problem is analyzed based on the theory of Islamic education and the needs in MI. The results of the study showed that the concept of integrative - comprehensive in Counseling in MI education includes three main components, namely: 1) leadership/managerial; 2) learning, and 3) self-development. BK integrative-comprehensive services in MI involving parents. The issue of integration of knowledge in Islamic education contributed to the preparation of - concept model of integrative - comprehensive BK in MI. Characteristics of integrative - comprehensive model of BK in MI is no coherence in the programs, workforce, perosedur, and system services. This model was characterized to develop aspects of personality, social, academic/learning, career, and even decency students. Developed lesson plan format includes objectives so that learners are aware of the importance of gratitude to God Almighty. His knowledge, sincerity in seeking knowledge and practice it , willingness to perform and excel in their field, as well as internalized social attitudes on the basis of better knowledge and understanding of himself as God \u27s creatures, MI graduates are expected to create superior and ready to compete
