Development and evaluation of english instructional materials based on advice poetry to foster students’ moral character and language proficiency
Improving the quality of English learning in high schools is an ongoing priority to produce graduates with strong moral character and linguistic competence. This study aimed to develop English teaching materials based on advice poetry and evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing students’ moral character and English language skills. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) model proposed by Borg & Gall, encompassing preliminary studies, material design, and evaluation phases. The sample consisted of 120 high school students, selected through purposive sampling, who participated in the intervention. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test to measure the statistical significance of learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the developed materials. The findings indicate that the developed teaching materials align with students’ needs, adhere to curriculum standards, and meet criteria for readability, clarity, and graphical presentation. Quantitative analysis revealed a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, with average scores increasing from 65.4 (pre-test) to 82.7 (post-test) (p < 0.001, Cohen’s d = 1.2), indicating a large effect size. Additionally, qualitative feedback showed that students were highly enthusiastic about the learning process, citing increased engagement and understanding of moral values embedded in the advice poetry. This study concludes that (1) the developed teaching materials are effective in improving both moral character and English language competence, and (2) students show positive attitudes toward poetry-based learning. The study recommends that educators incorporate advice poetry into English teaching materials to foster holistic student development. Future research could explore other literary genres or expand the sample size to generalize findings across diverse educational contexts

Mothers’ parenting of adolescents in the VUCA era: a phenomenological analysis
In the VUCA era (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity), mothers must adjust their parenting without neglecting family values. This study investigated mothers’ experiences in guiding adolescents during the VUCA era and identified their adaptive strategies based on Duvall’s family development theory. This qualitative phenomenological design involved three mothers as participants taken with purposive sampling, with data collected through interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The researcher analyzed the data using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. The findings revealed five main themes indicating that mothers’ interpretations of their parenting roles influence their experiences, psychological stress, expectations, and the parenting strategies they adopt. Mothers’ roles in parenting adolescents have shifted from traditional approaches to more modern, adaptive, and holistic models. In adapting to these dynamics, mothers involved multiple components, including themselves, their adolescent children, their husbands, and the wider community. The findings also demonstrated the expansion of Duvall's family development theory to incorporate new dynamics, particularly those fuelled by technological advancements. Support programs that enhance adolescents' emotional regulation skills can implement this research in school counseling services. For community-based applications, a systems approach involving fathers and other family members can be used, along with digital parenting platforms such as e-parenting.id for education and counseling. Counselors can also provide training and support to address parenting-related stress among mothers and offer family counseling to improve family well-being.
Examining the role of lecturer servant leadership in fostering post-millennial student engagement and its impact on learning outcomes
The post-millennial generation’s reliance on digital learning tools, compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, has created an urgent need to redefine pedagogical leadership in higher education. This study fills a critical gap in the literature by empirically testing how servant leadership directly impacts student engagement and learning outcomes. Using a cross-sectional quantitative design data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires from 100 undergraduate students purposively sampled from private universities with suboptimal e-learning infrastructure. Structural equation modeling (SEM) in AMOS 22 revealed that servant leadership strongly predicts student engagement with an estimated value (λ = 0.911, p <0.001), the influence of Lecturer Servant Leadership on student learning outcomes is significant with a value (λ = 0.609, p = 0.020) and the influence of student engagement on student learning outcomes is small but has a significant impact with a value (λ = 0.160, p <0.001). From the calculation results obtained, the indirect effect of Lecturer Servant Leadership on learning outcomes is 0.146 or 14.6% mediation effect, which means Total Effect = Direct Effect (0.609) + Indirect Effect (0.146) = 0.755, with Proportion of mediation = 0.146 / 0.755 ≈ 19.3%. The results prove that by encouraging “engagement” as cognitive participation, emotional investment, and behavioral interaction, student learning outcomes will increase by lecturer servant leadership model
Hexahelixs collaboration in the development of traditional village ecotourism based on animal welfare from the perspective of tri hita karana
Traditional village ecotourism development based on animal welfare requires a comprehensive and collaborative approach to ensure sustainability. This study examines the role of Hexahelix collaboration, integrating government, businesses, academia, media, communities, and financial institutions, in promoting sustainable tourism within the framework of Tri Hita Karana philosophy. The research aims to explore how this collaborative model enhances economic benefits, environmental conservation, and cultural preservation while ensuring ethical treatment of animals. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. Qualitative data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, while quantitative data were gathered through surveys and statistical analysis. Thematic analysis is used to assess stakeholder interactions, policy impacts, and community engagement. Data validation is ensured through triangulation methods to enhance the reliability of findings. The results indicate that active community participation, supported by governmental policies and private sector engagement through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), significantly contributes to the success of animal-friendly tourism. Ritual practices like Tumpek Kandang reinforce ethical animal treatment, while media involvement enhances public awareness of sustainable tourism practices. However, challenges such as coordination among stakeholders and resource limitations remain barriers to full implementation. Despite its effectiveness, the Hexahelix model requires continuous refinement to address long-term ecological and economic resilience issues. This study suggests that future research should focus on evaluating long-term impacts and refining policies to optimize the balance between tourism development and conservation efforts. The findings provide practical insights for policymakers, businesses, and communities in adopting sustainable tourism models based on local wisdom and ethical treatment of animal

Determination of organizational factors on employee attachment to work fatigue as moderation in group nurses of hospital
In the healthcare industry, employee engagement plays an important role in improving service quality and reducing the turnover rate of healthcare workers. Nurses who have a high level of attachment to the organization tend to be more productive, committed, and provide better services. However, various organizational factors such as interpersonal relationships, management support, transformational leadership, career development, and work environment can affect employee engagement levels. In addition, burnout is often a challenge in the industry and has the potential to moderate the relationship between organizational factors and employee engagement. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational factors on the attachment of nurse employees in Group Hospital X with work fatigue as a moderation variable. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire given to 222 nurses and analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that only the work environment had a significant influence on employee engagement, while interpersonal relationships, management support, transformational leadership, and career development did not show a significant impact. In addition, work burnout has not been shown to moderate the relationship between organizational factors and employee engagement. Interviews with nurses revealed that although work burnout was a major challenge, intrinsic factors such as love of the profession were still the main reason they persisted. These findings provide insight for hospital management in designing more effective policies to improve the welfare of health workers
Overcoming digital stress through new work environment design
Advances in digital technology have significantly changed the dynamics of the workplace, improving efficiency while creating new challenges for workers' well-being. One of the main challenges is digital stress, which is psychological pressure that arises due to excessive use of technology in the work environment. This stress can be caused by information overload, the expectation to always be online, and the imbalance between work and personal life. This research aims to explore how innovative work environment design can help reduce digital stress in workers. The method used in this study is a literature study by analyzing various previous studies relevant to this topic. Data sources come from academic journals, books, and research reports that discuss digital stress, worker welfare, and work environment design. The results of the study show that ergonomic work environment design, the implementation of work flexibility policies, reduction of excess technology exposure, and the integration of more humane technology can significantly reduce psychological pressure due to the use of digital technology. In addition, a work environment that supports work-life balance, such as the provision of relaxation areas, flexible workspaces, and restrictions on digital communication after hours, has also proven effective in improving workers' welfare. This research emphasizes that designing a work environment that is more adaptive to the psychological and physical needs of workers can be an effective solution in overcoming digital stress in the digital era. Therefore, organizations and companies are advised to adopt more worker-oriented workplace policies and designs
