Implementation of environmental education strategies and their contribution to college students' commitment to biodiversity conservation
This study explores the implementation of environmental education strategies and their contribution to college students' commitment to biodiversity conservation. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, the study aims to understand how environmental education can influence students' environmental awareness and behavior. The literature highlights the importance of integrating biodiversity conservation topics into college curricula, emphasizing hands-on learning, fieldwork, and collaborative projects. These strategies promote greater student engagement and foster a deeper understanding of ecological systems and conservation efforts. The findings reveal that environmental education enhances students' knowledge and positively influences their attitudes toward biodiversity, leading to stronger personal commitments to conservation. Moreover, it highlights the role of interactive learning environments in encouraging students to become active participants in sustainability initiatives. The study also identifies barriers, such as lack of resources and insufficient faculty training, which may hinder the effective implementation of these strategies. Recommendations for future research and practice include expanding environmental education programs, training educators in conservation topics, and creating more opportunities for student involvement in real-world biodiversity projects. By addressing these challenges, environmental education can play a pivotal role in empowering college students to contribute meaningfully to biodiversity conservation efforts. The findings underscore the need for a continuous and adaptive approach to environmental education that reflects the dynamic challenges of biodiversity conservation in a global context
The united states' threat to saudi arabia over crude oil production cuts in 2022
The United States' threat to Saudi Arabia following the 2022 decision by OPEC+ to cut crude oil production by two million barrels per day reveals the complex interplay between domestic political pressures and international energy geopolitics. This study aims to analyze the underlying internal and external factors influencing the U.S. response, using the Internal-External Setting theory developed by Snyder, Bruck, and Sapin. Employing a qualitative policy analysis approach, the research utilizes data from peer-reviewed journals, official government reports, and credible media coverage to examine U.S. foreign policy behavior. The findings show that internal factors—such as public opinion, inflationary pressures, the upcoming midterm elections, and media framing—played a critical role in shaping Washington's confrontational stance. Simultaneously, external dynamics, including Saudi Arabia’s leadership within OPEC+, post-pandemic energy market volatility, and shifting global power relations, further escalated diplomatic tensions. The study reveals how domestic political needs intersect with international strategic interests in driving foreign policy decisions. By applying the Internal-External Setting theory, this research highlights the interdependence of domestic and global considerations in modern energy diplomacy. The implications are significant for understanding U.S. geopolitical behavior in an era of energy insecurity and shifting alliances. This study contributes to the broader discourse on global energy governance, international economic stability, and the evolving nature of U.S.-Middle East relations
Transformational leadership and innovation management: the mediating role of knowledge sharing
Indonesian universities are under increasing pressure to innovate in response to global competition, evolving educational demands, and the need for high-quality applied research. Transformational leadership plays a critical role in driving institutional adaptability, course delivery enhancement, and problem-solving capacity. However, limited empirical research has examined how transformational leadership fosters innovation management, particularly through the mediating role of knowledge sharing. This study investigates the effect of transformational leadership on innovation management, mediated by knowledge sharing, at XXX University in Bandung. Using a causal descriptive design with a quantitative approach, data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Smart PLS 4.1. The study involved 100 lecturers selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly influences knowledge sharing (β = 0.6031, T = 5.7661, p < 0.0001) and directly affects innovation management (β = 0.614, T = 7.9821, p < 0.0001). Knowledge sharing also significantly contributes to innovation management (β = 0.364, T = 3.9125, p < 0.0001), and mediates the relationship between leadership and innovation (β = 0.2999, T = 3.7169, p = 0.0002). The study highlights the importance of leadership practices that promote knowledge exchange to strengthen institutional innovation. Shift work and sleep pattern disturbances of nurses at bua health center : a correlation study
Shift work is an essential aspect of healthcare services, particularly in facilities such as the BUA Health Center. However, it has been widely documented that shift work can disrupt sleep patterns, leading to significant health issues for workers, including nurses. This study aims to examine the relationship between shift work and sleep pattern disturbances among nurses at the BUA Health Center. Utilizing a qualitative approach and a literature study methodology, this research explores existing academic literature, case studies, and surveys from healthcare workers to understand the extent of sleep disturbances among nurses working various shifts. The analysis identifies that irregular sleep patterns, sleep deprivation, and poor quality of sleep are prevalent among nurses working rotating or night shifts. These disturbances have been shown to negatively affect both physical health and mental well-being, contributing to increased fatigue, decreased cognitive function, and a higher risk of burnout. Furthermore, the literature suggests that shift work impacts job performance and overall work satisfaction. This study underscores the need for effective strategies to mitigate the negative effects of shift work, including improved scheduling, better sleep hygiene practices, and organizational interventions. Recommendations include more flexible work schedules and the incorporation of regular sleep assessments to monitor the health of nurses. This research calls for further studies to develop interventions and policies that address the specific needs of healthcare professionals in shift-based roles
Evaluating the impact of the violence prevention and handling team (TPPK) in reducing bullying and violence in high schools
This study is based on cases of violence in schools which include cases of bullying that still often occur. To overcome violence in schools, the government issued Permendikbudristek number 46 of 2023 concerning the handling of acts of violence in schools. In this regulation, the government requires every school to form a Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK) to reduce the increasing cases of violence in schools. The problem is that since this regulation was issued on August 4, 2023 until February 2024, only 79.39% of schools have formed it. On the other hand, cases of violence in schools still often occur today. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between TPPK that has been formed in schools and acts of violence and bullying behavior. The research method used is quantitative correlation to determine the relationship between variables involving three research variables, namely the TPPK variable, the school violence variable and the bullying behavior variable. The population of this study was 1,527 high school students in Semarang who had experienced violence at school or who had been victims of bullying. The sampling technique used was a simple random sampling. The sample of this research was 248 students from 9 public high schools and 10 private high schools in Semarang. Data analysis used the Mann Whitney U Test and simple linear regression supported by IBM SPSS Statistics 25 from Windows software. The results of the study showed that the formation of TPPK was able to minimize acts of violence and bullying behavior in schools. However, the acts of violence and bullying behavior that occurred did not show significant differences in results, both in schools that had formed TPPK and those that had not. These results indicate that the TPPK that has been formed in schools is not fully effective even though it has influenced violent behavior in schools. For this reason, the role of TPPK members still needs to be improved by providing skills training in preventing and handling violence in schools
Development of coaching learning techniques to overcome language errors of elementary students
This research investigates the systematic development and implementation of coaching-based learning techniques aimed at addressing common language errors among elementary students.
