Stories of strength: a systematic review of the use of narratives in character education of children
Character education has a significant role in instilling positive character strengths that help to shape a positive mind, a positive attitude, and positive behavior in children. Next to the commonly used didactic approaches, narrative interventions can be used to ‘package’ key moral messages about character strength in entertaining storylines. Unfortunately, empirical studies on the effectiveness of narrative methods for teaching character education to children is scattered across different disciplines. This review aimed to comprehensively describe the published studies, and identify the main elements used for children’s character education in the narratives. Eight databases of studies published between January 1980 and March 2018 were searched for narrative interventions that focused on character education aimed at children. The searches yielded seven studies with a great variety in outcome measures. Findings consistently suggest that narratives with positive approaches can generate honesty and kindness effectively in children. Employing a positively framed story, giving instructions, and encouraging children to explain the key story events half way and at the end of the story can especially produce preferable results in adopting the character strengths
Organizational citizenship behaviour relationship on challenge stress, hindrance stress and turnover intention in hotel industry employees in Java island
The high employee turnover rate in the hotel industry on Java Island, influenced by work stress and organizational behavior, poses a significant challenge to operational sustainability and service quality in this sector. This study examines the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), Challenge Stress (CS), Hindrance Stress (HS), and Turnover Intention (TI) among employees in the hotel industry on Java Island. The research investigates the distinct roles of OCB at the individual level (OCBI) and organizational level (OCBO) in influencing stress perceptions and employee turnover intentions. A quantitative approach was utilized, involving 220 hotel employees from various regions in Java. Data was collected using online questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS tool. The findings reveal that OCBO significantly influences CS positively and HS significantly, while OCBI does not significantly impact either type of stress. Furthermore, HS has a strong positive effect on TI, whereas CS shows no significant impact. Interestingly, OCBO also exhibits a direct positive influence on TI. These results suggest that while OCB behaviors can enhance organizational functioning, they may also inadvertently contribute to stress and turnover intentions, especially when organizational support is insufficient. This study highlights the nuanced effects of OCB in the high-pressure context of the hotel industry. Practical implications include the need for organizations to balance employee contributions with adequate rewards and stress management strategies. Future research should explore additional moderating factors, such as organizational culture and job resources, to better understand the dynamics of stress and turnover in the hospitality secto

Promoting Pancasila values through dialectical project-based learning for Indonesian youth
The young generation in Indonesia is confronted with specific challenges in navigating the adverse effects of globalisation, which have the potential to erode the values enshrined in Pancasila. This research project aims to investigate the efficacy of the Pancasila Dialectic Project model in the character formation of the younger generation, with a particular focus on the realisation of the values of Pancasila through innovative approaches. The methodology employed is a literature review, encompassing an examination of the theoretical foundations of the model and an analysis of empirical data derived from its implementation. The Pancasila Dialectic Project model employs a dialectic approach that engages the younger generation in open discussion through the use of a podcast format, which aligns with their digital lifestyle. The findings demonstrate that this model not only enhances comprehension of Pancasila but also fosters moral development through the cultivation of critical and collaborative dispositions. The results provide substantial evidence that a dialectical approach can be an efficacious strategy in fortifying the values of Pancasila among the younger generation, as well as promoting constructive discourse on national identity in the contemporary global context
Inovasi PRO GALO untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi dan Pembelajaran Pemeliharaan Pakaian Pelindung

How prepared are families for patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis therapy?
Family readiness is crucial in Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) therapy, as families play a central role as caregivers, helping to maintain care quality and reduce complications. This scoping review aims to systematically assess the literature to identify key aspects of family readiness in supporting patients undergoing CAPD therapy, highlighting its importance for better patient outcomes and its contribution to broader knowledge in patient care. Literature was selected using the Population and Concept (PC) framework, with the population of interest being families of CAPD patients and the concept focused on family readiness. Studies from 2015 to December 2023 were sourced from PubMed, Science Direct, PROQUEST, and Google Scholar, with inclusion criteria focusing on family involvement in CAPD care and exclusion criteria eliminating non-relevant studies. Ten articles met the criteria, revealing critical aspects of family readiness, including caregiving burden, communication with healthcare providers, knowledge of the disease and therapy, material and emotional support, and understanding of the dialysis service system. These factors are essential for ensuring quality care, reducing risks, and improving overall CAPD therapy success
