Writing is one of the language skills that must be mastered in learning German. There are several things that students often need to improve in writing, including their lack of vocabulary, grammar, articles, spelling and punctuation, and their ability to make sentences. This is due to students' limited access to discuss and express ideas and opinions with other students in German writing. Therefore, students' abilities and knowledge need to be trained by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) Students' German writing skills before the application of the Think Pair Share learning model; 2) Students' German writing skills after the application of the Think Pair Share learning model; 3) the difference between students' German writing skills before and after the application of the Think Pair Share learning model; and 4) The effectiveness of the Think Pair Share learning model application in learning German writing skills. The method used in this research is a quasi-experiment with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research are all 12th graders of SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung with research samples, namely students of class XII IPS 3 as the experiment group and XII IPS 5 as the control group. The instruments in this research are the German writing test and the learning lesson plans. The results showed that: 1) Students' German writing skills before applying the Think Pair Share learning model were in the "Less than satisfactory" category. 2) Students' German writing skills after applying the Think Pair Share learning model were included in the "Excellent" category. 3) There is a significant difference between students' German writing skills before and after applying the Think Pair Share learning model. 4) The application of the Think Pair Share learning model is effective in learning German writing skills. Therefore, Think Pair Share can be an alternative learning model for German writing skills. Keywords: Writing skill, Think Pair Share learning model, online learning

Textbooks are included in the supporting components of learning. Therefore, textbooks have a vital role in realizing education by the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies of the 2013 Curriculum in the 10th grade. Core Competencies and Basic Competencies in the 2013 Curriculum are a reference in making material and practice questions in textbooks so that learning in schools is by the standards set by the government. However, not all textbooks are by the standards and needs of each level of learners. Research on textbooks was conducted to determine the suitability of the content of the Netzwerk A1 Kursbuch textbooks with the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies of the 2013 Curriculum for class X. The textbook used as research material or the corpus in this research is the Kursbuch Netzwerk A1 book. The purpose of this study is to describe the suitability of the material in the Netzwerk A1 book with Core Competencies and Basic Competencies for 10th-grade class and describe the suitability of practice questions in the Netzwerk A1 book with Core Competencies and Basic Competencies for 10th-grade class. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. The data analysis technique in this research is content analysis using documentation studies to collect data in the form of material and practice questions in the Kursbuch Netzwerk A1 book. After collecting the data, then the data is analyzed for compatibility with the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies of the 10th-grade class. The results of the analysis showed that the Kursbuch Netzwerk A1 book is not all compatible with the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies of the 10th-grade class because the scope of the Kursbuch Netzwerk A1 book is still too broad to be a supporter of learning for 10th-grade students. Based on the data obtained, there are 71 materials, with 21 data or 29.60%, 18 materials in 1st semester and 3 materials in 2nd semester relevant, 11 data or 15.50% less relevant, and 39 data or 54.90% irrelevant. Then, the data obtained for practice questions as much as 429, with 66 data or 15.38% by 48 practice questions in 1st semester and 18 practice questions in 2nd semester relevant, 30 data or 7.00% less relevant, and 333 data or 77.62% irrelevant. The results showed that the material and practice questions in the Kursbuch Netzwerk A1 book were not all or only a tiny part compatible with the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies of the 10th-grade class because the book has a broader range of themes and materials, as well as the practice questions for 10th-grade students. Keywords: Core Competencies and Basic Competencies, Kursbuch Netzwerk A1, Materials and practice questions

Morphology is a branch of linguistics that deals with word formation. One of the research studies in morphological analysis is affixation. Affixation is the addition of a bound morpheme to a free morpheme, which can change the lexical content of the morpheme. In German, negation can be attached to verbs, nouns, and adjectives by adding the affix. This study entitled Negative-adjective-forming affixation in DER SPIEGEL magazine is a morpho-semantic analysis whose purpose is to find the negative affixes, analyze the morphological process in word formation, and finally classify the negative adjectives according to the semantic classification. This study is a qualitative study and records the derivational patterns of word formation based on the theory of Bünting (1996) and the semantic classification of adjectives according to Duden (2009) for analysis. The data used in this study was collected from the magazine DER SPIEGEL. The data collection procedures are as follows: Identifying the attached negative adjectives, analyzing the word formation, classifying the adjectives semantically and lastly summarizing or drawing the conclusion from the collected and analyzed data. The analysis shows that (1) there is the prefix un- in-/il-/ir- a-, des-/dis- and the suffix -los, which can negate adjectives; (2) the lexical meaning of the root word most often remains unchanged in the derivation; (3) the adjectives to which negative affixes are attached can be semantically divided into four categories: adjectival participles, qualifying adjectives, relational adjectives, and numeral adjectives. Keywords: adjectives, affixation, morpho-semantics, negatio

The difference in grammatical characteristics between Indonesian and German is one of the factors that cause students to have difficulty in learning Grammar. One example is in the use of prepositions. In German, prepositions are followed by several cases, namely Präposition mit Akkusativ, Präposition mit Dativ, Präposition mit Genitiv, and Wechselpräposition, while in Indonesian it is different. To overcome this problem, a study in the use of the Wordwall application in Wechselpräposition learning was conducted. The aims of this study were to determine: 1) students' mastery in Wechselpräpositionen before using the Wordwall application, 2) students' mastery in Wechselpräpositionen after using the Wordwall application, 3) the differences in students' mastery in Wechselpräpositionen before and after using the Wordwall application, and 4) the effectiveness of the Wordwall application in Wechselpräpositionen learning. The design used in this study is a Nonequivanlent Control Group Design, which is part of the quasi experimental. The population of this research were all students of class XII SMA Negeri 3 Palu who studied German and the samples of this research were class XII IPS 2 as the experimental class and class XII IPS 3 as the control class. The techniques for collecting data in this study were a test questions and questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale. The test was carried out twice as pretest and posttest. The test consists of 30 questions and the questionnaire of 15 statements. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be seen that: 1) students' mastery in Wechselpräpositionen in the experimental class and control class before using the Wordwall application can be categorized as "failed", 2) students' mastery in Wechselpräpositionen in the experimental class after using the Wordwall application is included in the "good" category, while the control class is in the "sufficient" category, 3) there is a significant difference in students' mastery in Wechselpräpositionen before and after using the Wordwall application. This can be seen from the average pretest and posttest scores of the experimental class of 37.50 and 68.34, and 4) the Wordwall application is effectively applied in Wechselpräpositionen learning. This is evidenced by the result of the t-test that shows the value of Sig. = 0.002 0.005. In other words, there is a significant difference in mastery between the experimental class and the control class. In addition, the result of the data processing is supported by the results of the questionnaire containing positive student responses to the use of the Wordwall application in Wechselpräposition learning. Therefore, the Wordwall application can be used as an alternative learning media in Wechselpräposition learning. Keywords: Learning media, Wordwall application, Wechselpräpositio
