    Seed durian flour (Durio zibethinus Murr) is the waste from durian fruit wich are potential to becomewater soluble polysaccharides (WSP) source beause it contains gum. Seed durian process to seed durianflour is a method to avoid damaged material. The The research was aimed to obtained optimum extractionabout the yield of crude extract water soluble polysaccharides (WSP) from seed durian flour i.e ratiomaterial and solvent 1:5; 1:10; 1:15, extraction temperature at 30; 40; 50o C, speed sentrifuges spin7000; 10.000; 13.000 rpm; ratio supernatant and ethanol 1:3; 1:4; 1:5, extraction time for 0, 1, and 2 hrs,along with to characterize crude extract water soluble polysaccharides (WSP) from seed durian flour. theresults showed that highest extraction yield was obtained in combination with 1:10 of ratio material andsolvent, 50 °C of extraction temperature,13.000 rpm of speed sentrifuges spin, 1:4 of ratio supernatantand ethanol, and 2 hrs of extraction. It yielded WSP of 3,56%, brigthness (L) of 49,32. This WSP containedwater, ash, fatty, protein, carbohydrate, and total sugar of 13,86%, 12,48%, 1,78%; 19,76%, 65,98 and 61,23% respectively. Keywords: Water soluble polysaccharides, extraction, seed durian flou

    Refrigerant is a fluid acting on a cooling machine that plays an important role in a carnot cycle cooling engine. In study was done by looking at the effect of adding refrigerant mass variation of the COP (Coefficient of Performance) by using a refrigerant-based non-Freon refrigerant that use LPG (Petrileum Liquefied Gas). In this study using the LPG mass variations 50 grams, 80 grams and 90 grams and use R-12 refrigerant.     In order to reduce or replace the use of wood fuel, oil and natural gas to heat water, has a lot of research being done to find alternative energy sources. Solar energy is one alternative energy that can be used to heat water. Solar collector is a device that serves to collect the incoming solar energy and convert it into heat energy which in turn forwarded to the working fluid. The purpose of this study solar water heater is to compare the influence of the configuration of pipes and pipe parallel series with the addition of the collector absorber plate honeycomb shaped the performance of solar energy water heater so that in can be efficiency. From research result obtained temperature irrigate in parallel pipe collector tank at angle 5o equal to 52 oC and also reached efficiency that is 46,16 %, at angle 10o equal to 54 °C reached efficiency 48,15 %, at angle 15o equal to 51 oC reached efficiency 45,10 % and at angle 20o equal to 48 °C and also reached efficiency that is 39,60 % while the water temperature inside the tank to the collector pipe series at angle 5 o equal to 48 oC reached efficiency is 41.67 %, the angle at 10 o equal to 49 oC reached efficiency is 42.86 %, angle 15 º equal to 47 °C reached efficiency is 40.43 % and at an angle 20o equal to 46 °C and also reached efficiency that is 39,14 %.     Manufacture of biodegradable plastics in this study begins with making the dough using a single screw extruder, then the dough is molded by using a compression molding machine. The basic material used is a mixture of jatropha seed meal, corn starch, CMC (composition 7: 2: 1). This study aimed to study the effect of Helic corner and screw compression ratio of the batter character and biodegradable plastic produced. Helic screw angle was varied from 2,5o; 5o; 7.5 ° and screw compression ratio varied from 1.5; 2.5; 3.5. The results showed an increase in the angle of screw Helic simplify the process of molding (lowering the value of Tg, Tm, ΔH and texture of the dough) and to improve the mechanical physical properties of the biodegradable plastic produced (tensile strength, strain increases while the thickness and Water Vapor transmition rate decreases).     The air pollution rate caused by the vehicles in big cities is now reach the critical limit. It affects the environmental health as well as the financial factors. To reduce the pollutant gas from the vehicle engines emission, a technology is needed. One of the technology is the application of catalytic converter  inside the exhaust emission. A research has been done on 125 cc motorcycle engine to modify its exhaust emission. The catalysts used in this research was made of copper and designed using the honeycomb system with various diameters ( 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 mm). The observation variables are catalyst temperature, CO and HC emission rate. The emission of CO and HC from the sample engine was then compared with the standard emission rates. Result showed that increase of the copper catalyst temperature resulted in decrease of  CO and HC emission rates. The decrease started to occur for all the catalysts at 225 oC. Optimum convertion efficiency is up to 47,93 % (CO) and 50,36 % (HC). Both optimum efficiency reached at the temperature of 325 oC using 8 mm diametered catalysts. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a method used to anticipate and prioritize the needs and desires of consumers, as well as incorporating the needs and desires of the consumer goods and services produced by the company. The purpose of this research is to design and develop products vise using the Quality Function Deployment. The data required in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents. Secondary data was collected through library research.
