ESTIMASI BEBAN PUNCAK ENERGI LISTRIK PADA SISTEM SULUTGO MENGGUNAKAN ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK DAN METODE MOVING AVERAGE
Sulutgo interconnection system is the electrical energy suppliers for North Sulawesi and Gorontalo. Their role as the electrical energy supplier was complained by people in 2015, due to lack of electricity supply that lead to continuous rolling blackouts. Accordingly, it is important to identify the electrical peak load in Sulutgo system, so that the electrical necessity of the people can be properly fulfilled. The electrical peak load in the next 12 month is estimated using the backpropagation method artificial neural network and forecasting method moving average. The estimation was performed by using the last 24 month peak load data. Based on the results of both estimation, it is found the backpropagation method artificial neural network has fluctuated results while the forecasting method moving average gives stable results. The results of the estimation of peak load electricity using bacpropagation artificial neural network method for the next 12 month starting from July 2016 to June 2017 are 327.48, 353.99, 316.32, 316.66, 332.37, 329.79, 332.31, 356.21, 318.60, 349.56, 351.37, 362.04 MW. While the results of the estimation method using moving average forecasting for the same period are 325.68, 326.03, 326.39, 326.72, 327.25, 328.09, 327.94, 328.72, 329.94, 330.32, 327.65, 326.52 MW.  Keywords: Estimation, Artificial Neural Network, Forecast Method Moving Averag
ANALISIS TEGANGAN PADA BEJANA TEKAN VERTIKAL 13ZL100040291 DI PT. ANEKA GAS INDUSTRI
ABSTRACT A pressure vessel is a container for a pressurized fluid, both liquid or gas. The stress on the shell of pressure vessel must have serious attention because the stress is the basic in determining the dimension and the type of material used, and also the treatment for the pressure vessel. This research intended to obtain the maximum stress in the pressure vessel 13ZL100040291 of the working pressure. The object of this research was a vertical type cryogenic pressure vessel at PT. Aneka Gas Industri, sagrat, Bitung. The analysis was conducted by applying the finite element method aided by softwares. Research results showed that the maximum stress at the inner vessel based on the software simulation is 203,79 MPa, with nominal stress of 33.965 MPa. The nominal stress based on the calculation using mechanical theory is 37,24 MPa. The stress calculation in simulation using software had considered the stress concentration. Afterwards, based on the simulation results, it was found that the stress concentration at the inner vessel and outer vessel is 6. The maximum stress calculated by the simulation software at inner vessel and outer vessel is stell in the safe limit, because the Von Mises stress is smaller than the allowed stress of each material used. TINJAUAN BERBAGAI KERETAKAN PADA POROS PROPELLER BALING-BALING KAPAL DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PROSES NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
The aim of this study is to determine the damage of the propeller shaft using NON-DESTRUCTIVE-TEST method. The examination of the damage is conducted at ship of Anugerah Perdana 09which shaft’s diameter of 100mm and shaft’s length of 2,471mm, and Porodisa Vessel with diameter of 100 mm and length of 2,147 mm, there are two shaft, left and right, as the test object. Based on the examination result on both of the ship shafts, there are two damages. On Anugerah Perdana shaft, there is damage on the bottom side of the right keyway with length of 60 mm, while on Porodisa axis, there is one crack on the right keyway with length of 20 mm. PERANCANGAN POROS TRANSMISI DENGAN DAYA 100 HP
The aim of this work is to design a shaft for transmitting power of 100 hp. There are two gears on the shaft, and two bearings as supports at the shaft. Based on design result, diameter of critical points on the shaft have been acquired as follows; D1=1,80 in, D2=3,40 in, D3=3,74 in, D4=5,00 in, D5=4,40 in, and D6=3,15 in. PENGARUH PEMOTONGAN DENGAN DAN TANPA CAIRAN PENDINGIN TERHADAP DAYA POTONG PADA PROSES TURNING
In this study whether the effect of cuts without using coolant differ significantly by cutting use liquid cooling to the power cut. To get the effect these cuts do testing on a lathe with a cutting speed varied. The results of this study, based on cutting anlisis detected by the fifth variation of the cutting speed will affect the power cut. With the greater the cutting speed will increase cutting power, good for lathing process with and without coolant. The process of turning the cooling liquid tends to be greater influence on cutting power compared to the lathing process without coolant. Based anlisis regression and correlation with level of 5% error hypothesis test two directions is known that in the process of turning cutting speed without coolant does not affect the power cut amounted to 73.48%. PENGARUH VARIASI PARAMETER PROSES PEMESINAN TERHADAP GAYA POTONG PADA MESIN BUBUT KNUTH DM-1000A
This research was aimed at knowing the cutting force a lathe with several parameters: rotation condition,varied cutting depth,and constant eater motion. The influence of the machining parameters to the cutting forcewas obtained by conducting tests on KNUTH DM 1000 A lathe.on every test with changing rotation and cutting depth, the electric current can be measured with ampere pliers. From the data of the electric currenst, the power and cutting force of every test can be calculated. From the test result and interacted two way variance analysis,it was found that the most influential parameters to the cutting force is the rotation,while the cutting depth does not influential the cutting force significantly, so it can be ignored. On 300 rpm gave the average cutting force of 2166 N, on 700 rpm 918 N,and on 1600 rpm. This results show that the rotation, the lower the cutting force. PENGARUH PENGELASAN LISTRIK TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK PADA ALAT ANGKAT KENDARAAN NIAGA KAPASITAS 2 TON
In the process of the commercial vehicle lifting equipment production, there are many joining processes done by using electric welding. To find out the effect of the process, the tensile strength of the welding process is necessary to be tested. The information of welding strength on the commercial vehicle components is obtainable from the tensile test that has been done over the twelve specimens with the standard rectangular cross-section from the result of welding process. The results of the tensile test show the data of loading and extension that occurred which was then processed to obtain the value of the stress, strain and curves of each specimen. Testing from the specimen it is obtained that the yield strength 461.538 N/mm2, the tensile strength of 536.325 N/mm2, tenacity 2,451%, the elastic modulus of 353.955 N/mm2, resilience and toughness 0.652 and 876.363 N/mm2, with an error rate of 5%. The strength of the electric welding showed no significant difference compared to the strength without joining, and did not provide a great influence on the mechanical properties of commercial vehicle components lifting capacity of 2 tons, with an error of 5%. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to get a design of a frame for an electric gokart. The frame serve as a foundation for putting the vehicle body, engine, steering systems, and other components. This research was conducted using structural statics calculation and mechanics of material strength that can determine the load on the frame and the maximum load that can be sustained by the frame. In this design of electric gokart frame using a ST 37 pipe tube material which has a yield strength at allowable strength at 117,5 MPa. The tube has a outer radius 12,7 mm and inner radius 12,5 mm. EFEKTIVITAS STEAM EJECTOR TINGKAT PERTAMA DI PLTP LAHENDONG UNIT 2
ABSTRACT First stage steam ejector is a part of the gas extraction system at PLTP Lahendong Unit 2 with the main function to remove non-condensable gas (NCG) collected in the main condenser continuously in order to keep the main condenser vacuum. The research aim is to determine the ability of the steam ejector actual conditions in ejecting NCG from the main condenser. Computational fluid dynamics simulations is used to analyze the flow characteristics in the steam ejector. Simulation is done by comparing the actual conditions and the factory design condition of first stage steam ejectors. Simulation resulting in the efficiency of steam ejector actual condition is 0,527 while factory design condition is 0,554, meaning there is a decrease in the efficiency by 4,87%. The simulation results show the ability of steam ejectors actual condition to eject the NCG from the main condenser is 1.402,11 kg/hr and for steam ejector factory design is 1.479,34 kg/hr. The ability of the steam ejector actual conditions is decreased by 5,22% from the steam ejector factory design conditions. Keywords: Steam Ejector, NCG, Efficiency
ANALISIS SIFAT MEKANIK ALAT PENGUPAS KELAPA PRODUKSI INDUSTRI KECIL PANDAI BESI DI MINAHASA
ABSTRACT This research aim to determine the hardness number, the absorb energy and the price of coconut peeler material impact and to analyze the differences of mechanical properties of coconut peeler production from several blacksmith craftsmen in Minahasa. Basic material of coconut peeler is spring steel car. The coconut peeler is the result of three blacksmith craftmen centers in Minahasa. From the test result of the hardness specimen without treatment, the highest hardness value is 711.3774369 HVN while with the specimens of hardness test with treatments which the value for Wulauan is 259.1432198 HVN, for Parepei is 315.2173625 HVN , for Tombasian is 262, 1731511 HVN. As for the impact testing, specimen with treatment Wulauan 19.89 J energy absorption and impact the price of 1,321 J / mm², which is the energy absorption and impact the price of the highest compared with the treatment of test specimens in Parepei who holds 15.94 J energy absorption and impact prices 1,063 J / mm², and in Tombasian which has energy absorption and the price impact of 4.45 j 0.297 J / mm², as well as the untreated specimens that have absorption energy of 6.42 J and impact the price of 0.642 J / mm². .
