No full textAvatar become one of the representative of digital communication. The usage of avatar is not only as a representative of the user attributes but also represent the behavior of the users such as emotion, passion, and mood. However, the usage of avatar behavior is depends on the user actions. The avatar have no knowledge about the mood of the user until the user describe the mood through status update or comments. If only, the avatar behavior can be automated thorugh some patterns and contexts, it will help the user to automate their mobile activity. This paper will revisit the usage of avatar in mobility world and propose a model called Mobile Contextual Avatar (MCA). The proposed model will discuss the conceptual technique how the context and pattern usage will help the content developer to model dynamic mobile services

No full textKota Solo dengan semboyannya “The Spirit of Java”, merupakan kota yang mengalami banyak perkembangan begitu pesat. Dengan letak yang strategis membuat kota Solo begitu berpotensi menjadi kota metropolitan (terlihat dari tingkat pertumbuhan industri, perumahan, pusat perdagangan, sekolah, dan bangunan penting lainnya). Hal ini mengindikasikan akan pesatnya pula pertumbuhan permintaan kebutuhan teknologi seperti akses internet. Untuk mewujudkan Solo Cyber City, diperlukan suatu perencanaan jaringan yang dapat memenuhi layanan koneksi wireless dalam kota Solo yang sedang berkembang pesat akan akses internetnya di seluruh kawasan kota itu sendiri. Tujuan yang dibidik untuk mewujudkan Cyber City adalah semua kawasan yang ada di kota Solo menjadi daerah yang memiliki teknologi wireless. Setelah dilakukan perencanaan jaringan WMAN dalam Kota Solo yang mempunyai luas wilayah 44.04 Km2, diperlukan 10 sel Wi-Fi untuk daerah urban dengan jari-jari 0.29 Km, 17 sel Wi-Fi untuk daerah sub urban dengan jari-jari 0.4 Km, 2 sel WI-MAX untuk daerah urban dengan jari-jari 0.39 Km, dan 3 sel WI-MAX untuk daerah sub urban dengan jari-jari 0.97 Km, dimana masing-masing BS menggunakan antena 3 sektor

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan hasil pengamatan kinerja server dedicated,server virtual pada mesin virtualisasi dan server virtual pada layanan cloud computingkomersial. Penelitian mencermati kinerja mail server dengan melihat waktu transferdata ketika pengguna login, mengirim dan membuka email dengan attachment dantanpa attachmentl. Penelitian juga mencermati kinerja web server dengan melihatkecepatan transfer data, waktu transfer dan jumlah error, yang diamati menggunakanweb stress tool. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja server dedicated lebihbaik dibanding kinerja server virtual dan kinerja server virtual pada mesin virtualisasilebih baik dibanding kinerja server virtual pada layanan cloud computing

No full textFast Light Toolkit atau yang biasa disebut dengan FLTK merupakan Graphical User Interface (GUI) library yangindependent dan dapat berjalan cross platform. Dengan memanfaatkan FLTK, para developer atau programmer dapatmenggunakannya untuk membuat GUI dengan menggunakan FLUID yang kemudian hasilnya dapat digenerate menjadibahasa C++. Sehingga para developer ataupun user yang menginginkan pembuatan aplikasi berbasiskan GUI dengan praktis,maka dapat memanfaatkan keunggulan FLTK melalui FLUID Designer.File yang telah dihasilkan dari FLUID ketika user membuat sebuah GUI, ternyata memiliki struktur file yangmenyerupai XML yang memungkinkan kita memparsing file tersebut. Dari hasil parsing tersebut kita dapat melakukangenerate ke dalam output bahasa lain. Sampai sekarang para developer sudah ada memanfaatkan file fluid untuk digenerateke dalam bahasa phyton, yang bernama flconvert. Dengan sejalan perkembangan yang ada, FLTK telah berada pada versiFLTK2, dimana fitur fitur FLTK2 lebih lengkap dari pada FLTK1, Sementara ini belum ada aplikasi yang mengenerateFLTK2 ke dalam bahasa Python. Penelitian ini akan membuat aplikasi tersebut. Bagaimana cara melakukan parsing untukmerubah file struktur GUI yang telah dibuat degan FLUID2 menjadi output bahasa Python, yang akan dijelaskan pada bukuini. Bahasa Python merupakan improvement dari bahasa C dan C++. Bahasa Python dibuat sebagai bentuk dari keinginanpara developer untuk membuat bahasa serupa C++. Dengan bahasa Python kita dapat membuat GUI dengan menggunakanpyFLTK. pyFLTK adalah binding untuk library FLTK, yang memungkinkan pemakaian library ini didalam Python

In contrast to cryptographic techniques, steganography can reducesuspicion because the message is disguised is hidden in another file. LSB is one ofsteganographic methods. LSB widely applied to insert a secret message into a digitalimage.This software is made in order to secure the secret message into a digital imageusing the RC4 algorithm and the method of LSB. The software is built using thewaterfall model of software development.The results of the development of this softwarehas been able to secure the secret message in the form of text into a digital image witha BMP format using RC4 algorithm and the method of LSB

One type of business that have the potential to be improved quality of service is a document copying services as implemented in Binus University. In addition to the staff and lecturers, students need the service for various types of documents such as doubling the lecture materials and other administrative documents from softcopy to hardcopy documents. With the number of customers that so many frequent long queues, sometimes the officer / operator overwhelmed and not a few customers who feel disappointed. By leveraging the technology capabilities possessed by a photocopy machine to connect to a network computer, it can be made a system that supports the printing of documents through the Internet, so as to reduce queues and accountable system of administrative procedures. Users can monitor the status of printing the document, whether in a state of waiting, the document is printed or printing the document is complete. Each time the user performs printing, the computer used does not need a printer driver installation process, and the system can be developed to validate the adequacy of the deposit of funds that have been recorded in the database. This paper describes the Online Printing System web-based, and are capable of storing the printing information into a database system, so that records can provide tracking information, which affects the quality of service and performance is excellent
