PHYSIK – ENTFREMDUNG VON ANSTATT HINFÜHRUNG ZUM SCHÖPFER?
Die religiöse Haltung vieler Physiker ist atheistisch oder agnostisch. Diese Haltung wird von der Ambivalenz von Interpretationen der mathematischen Theorien in der Physik gestützt, jedoch nicht verursacht. Diese Interpretationen sind deshalb nötig, weil die Beziehung der Mathematik zu materiellen Dingen unbekannt ist, weshalb sie auch nur hypothetisch und erfolgsorientiert sein können. Es gibt also nur ein praktisches Wissen über die erfolgreiche Anwendung von Mathematik in der Physik. Zusammen mit der hypothetisch-deduktiven Denkart der Mathematik definiert dies das der Physik eigene erkenntnistheoretische Klima. Dazu gibt es als Hintergrundfaktor seit Jahrhunderten eine metaphysische Komponente in Form eines Naturbegriffs, der inhaltlich vom Schöpfungsbegriff abgekoppelt ist. Beides legt mentale Deformierungen der erfahrenen Realität zwecks Anwendung der Mathematik nahe und bestimmt so das geistige Klima in der Physik. Damit entfremdet es sich immer mehr vom geistigen Klima, welches von der alltäglichen Erfahrung mit ihren Evidenzen erzeugt wird, und damit zugleich vom erkenntnistheoretischen Klima, das von der christlichen Offenbarung hinsichtlich der wahrnehmbaren Welt erzeugt und bestätigt wird. Die geistige Welt und das Leben eines Christen, der Physiker ist, erscheinen so wie ein Fremdkörper in seiner professionellen Umwelt.
Die Moralität der beruflichen Handlungen eines Physikers wird mit Hilfe zweier Unterscheidungen analysiert. Zunächst, ob ein Physiker die Physik als ein Feld professioneller Handlungen wie viele andere versteht oder als Quelle einer physikalistischen Weltanschauung. Die zweite Unterscheidung betrifft die beiden Wirkungen einer professionellen Handlung eines Physikers: jede solche Handlung hat ihr spezifisches Objekt, und sie trägt zugleich und untrennbar zur Erhaltung des erkenntnistheoretischen Klimas in der Physik bei. Jede professionelle Handlung eines Physikers, die hinsichtlich ihres Objektes, ihrer Absicht und ihren Umständen moralisch gut ist, ist moralisch zulässig, wenn sie im Horizont der Berufsausübung und nicht im Horizont einer physikalistischen Weltanschauung geschieht. Diese Situation ist prekär. Daher ist es angebracht zu untersuchen, ob eine Reform der Standards der Physik von innen heraus möglich ist. Es scheint, dass die erwähnten Deformierungen geradewegs zu einem Ansatz für eine derartige innere Reform führen. Die Reichweite dieses Ansatzes kann jedoch noch nicht abgeschätzt werden. Überraschenderweise ziehen gängige Ansichten über das Verhältnis von Theologie und Physik (I.G.Barbour, M.Heller, Th.F.Torrance) keinerlei innere Reform der Physik in Betracht. Vielmehr unterstützen sie unkritisch einen Zuwachs des Einflusses der Physik auf die Theologie

When I was a small boy, about two years old, on occasion, I had some nightmares. One morning I mentioned that to my Mother, and she replied, in a most natural matter of course manner, as if it had been about a simple and trivial issue, that next time, when I would again have such a nightmare, I should simply remember that I was dreaming, that all it would only be in a dream, and then I should just wake up … Since my Mother’s reply came so instantly, smoothly, and without the least emotion, let alone dramatization, I simply took it as such …
And next time, when a nightmare came upon me during my dream, I simply did, and yes, I managed rather naturally to do, what my Mother had told me to do …
And never ever I would again have nightmares for more than a mere moment, before I would manage to wake up from them …
Later, nightmares would, so to say, even avoid me completely…
On occasion, and sometime even more often, we feel during our waking hours as if we were in the middle of a nightmare …

In the situation of crisis of contemporary Western spirituality various revitalistic movements emerge inside Roman-Catholic and Protestant Churches. The article is dedicated to such a movement called The World Community for Christian Meditation. The movement has become rather popular all over Europe from the beginnings of 90ies. Christian meditation came to Latvia about four years ago provoking a great resonance in the academic and church circles. Although the founders of the community apply for the return to the sources of Christian comtemplative tradition, they perform a profound transformation of Christian doctrine and practice according to Hindu and Buddhist patterns

A modernist and traditional sight at the Christ: experience of comparative divinity
The given research is devoted the analysis of theses of the modern concept of «Historical Jesus» under Markusa Borg's book «Jesus: Uncovering the Life, Teachings and Relevance of a Religious Revolutionary». To the negative criticism of the New Testament Borg opposes traditional understanding of the person and the doctrine of the Christ. Also the reasons and motivation of such approach of criticism are considered. In work the modernist sight at the Christ is compared to ancient heresies during an epoch of early Christianity.

The Nature of Mathematics – an interview with Professor Karlis Podnieks
Many people think that mathematical models are built using well-known “mathematical things” such as numbers and geometry. But since the 19th century, mathematicians have investigated various non-numerical and non-geometrical structures: groups, fields, sets, graphs, algorithms, categories etc. What could be the most general distinguishing feature that would separate mathematical models from non-mathematical ones?
I would describe this feature by using such terms as autonomous, isolated, stable, self-contained, and – as a summary – formal. Autonomous and isolated – because mathematical models can be investigated “on their own” in isolation from the modeled objects. And one can do this for many years without any external information flow. Stable – because any modification of a mathematical model is qualified explicitly as defining a new model. No implicit modifications are allowed. Self- contained – because all properties of a mathematical model must be formulated explicitly. The term “formal model” can be used to summarize all these features
Symmetry of mass and energy density of quantum vacuum

Model for the Findings about Hologram Generating Properties of DNA
A TGD inspired model for the strange replica structures observed when DNA sample is radiated by red, IR, and UV light using two methods by Peter Gariaev and collaborators. The first method produces what is tentatively interpreted as replica images of either DNA sample or of five red lamps used to irradiate the sample. Second method produce replica image of environment with replication in horizontal direction but only at the right hand side of the apparatus. Also a white phantom variant of the replica trajectory observed in the first experiment is observed and has in vertical direction the size scale of the apparatus.
The model is developed in order to explain the characteric features of the replica patterns. The basic notions are magnetic body, massless extremal (topological light ray), the existence of Bose-Einstein condensats of Cooper pairs at magnetic flux tubes, and dark photons with large value of Planck constant for which macroscopic quantum coherence is possible. The hypothesis is that the first method makes part of the magnetic body of DNA sample visible whereas method II would produce replica hologram of environment using dark photons and produce also a phantom image of the magnetic tubes becoming visible by method I. Replicas would result as mirror hall effect in the sense that the dark photons would move back and forth between the part of magnetic body becoming visible by method I and serving as a mirror and the objects of environment serving also as mirrors. What is however required is that not only the outer boundaries of objects visible via ordinary reflection act as mirrors but also the parts of the outer boundary not usually visible perform mirror function so that an essentially 3-D vision providing information about the geometry of the entire object would be in question. Many-sheeted space-time allows this.
The presence of the hologram image for method II requires the self-sustainment of the reference beam only whereas the presence of phantom DNA image for method I requires the self-sustainment of both beams. Non-linear dynamics for the energy feed from DNA to the magnetic body could make possible self-sustainment for both beams simultaneously.
