End-of-Life Experience Case Study and a Proposed Quantum Physics Hypothesis
This case study is a retrospection of my family’s experiences that highlight several ELE facets. Following a description, we attempt to explain some of these phenomena from the perspectives of science and other germane disciplines
“An Analytic Perspective on Panpsychism”: Book Review of Brüntrip & Jaskolla’s (eds.) *Panpsychism: Contemporary Perspectives*
This is an important collection in that it fleshes out the vague postulate of panpsychism with a detailed analysis of how it might be understood (if not exactly what it might mean). For the many skeptics who simply dismiss the very idea as ridiculous, there is much here to demonstrate that a good deal of serious thought has gone into this ancient proposal. There are many ways to interpret panpsychism, and they are well represented in this group of philosophers, each speaking for a unique take on the subject or one of its variations – from cosmopsychism to panprotopsychism to panexperientialism to neutral monism, etc. The combination problem is fully interrogated, as is panpsychism associated with dualism, idealism, physicalism, theism, etc. Anyone reading this book is bound to gain some respect for the complexity of such subject matter and the compelling logic for approaching i
The Role of Physics in Science Integration
Special and General theories of relativity may be considered as the most significant examples of integrative thinking. From these works we see that Albert Einstein attached great importance to how we understand geometry and dimensions. It is shown that physics powered by the new multidimensional elastic geometry is a reliable basis for science integration. Instead of searching for braneworlds (elastic membranes - EM) in higher dimensions we will start by searching them in our 3+ dimensional world. The cornerstone of the new philosophy is an idea that lower dimensional EMs are an essential component of the living matter, they are responsible for our perceptions, intellect, pattern recognition and high speed signal propagation. According to this theory each EM has both physical and perceptive (psychological) meanings: it exists as our Universe-like physical reality for its inner objects and at the same time it plays perceptive (psychological) role in the external bulk space-time. This philosophy may help us to build up a science which explains not only inanimate, unconscious phenomena, but consciousness as well
The Manifestation of Consciousness: Beyond & Within from Fundamental to Ubiquity
Consciousness being the very source of subjective experience is needed for our life experiences, for the working of our body, to perceive, to cognize, and to express. Agreeing to a fundamental approach for consciousness is more about embracing the true understanding of consciousness rather than avoiding it. Consciousness can, therefore, be located anywhere and everywhere, but in a form that we do not understand until it takes shape within the limits of our reality. Monism related approaches to consciousness are an act to run away from the problems associated with dualism and therefore the need of the hour is a holistic sense of consciousness. Holistic approaches to understand consciousness opens the doors to many versions of this unique ubiquitous feature that we possess; that we do not understand, and that which gives us the ability to go over and beyond emergence
Наука и вера: иллюзия конфликта и точки соприкосновения (Zinātne un ticība: konflikta ilūzija un saskares punkti)

A priori knowledge in the teachings of I. Kant, "evolutionary epistemology", "analytical psychology" of K. G. Jung and in the evolution of religions
Šajā darbā es* vēlos ieskicēt pēdējās desmitgadēs strauji attīstījušos izziņas un zināšanu evolucionāras modelēšanas veidu- „evolucionāro epistemoloģiju”, kā arī izmantot tās metodi Kanta (Immanuel Kant) aizsākto aprioro zināšanu un to funkciju skaidrošanā mitoloģisko, reliģisko un zinātnisko zināšanu rašanās un evolūcijas procesā.
