(FAIRe) Forschungsdaten, Open Access und neue Formen der Kommunikation in der Romanistik: Beiträge des FID zur Gestaltung des digitalen Wandels
Get PDFDer DFG-geförderte Fachinformationsdienst Romanistik (FID) wird von der SUB Hamburg und der ULB Bonn betrieben und bietet laufend weiterentwickelte Services für die Bereitstellung und Recherche von Literatur für die Forschung sowie ein reichhaltiges fachspezifisches Online-Informationsangebot. Der Beitrag illustriert, wie der FID mit seinen Teilprojekten Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) und Open-Access-Publizieren (OA) sowie mit den neuen Kommunikationskanälen eine transdisziplinäre digitale Romanistik unterstützt.
Zunächst wird argumentiert, dass FDM nach den FAIR-Prinzipien Transdisziplinarität immer schon mitdenkt. Nach einer Vorstellung der entsprechenden Unterstützungsangebote des FID wird auf die Bedeutung einer konsistenten Metadatenvergabe eingegangen und eine breitere fachinterne Diskussion zu diesem Thema angeregt.
Als nächstes wird das Informationsangebot des FID zum Thema OA vorgestellt sowie ein Ausblick auf das gerade eingerichtete Repositorium für romanistische OA-Publikationen geboten, das als zentrale Anlaufstelle für frei zugängliche fachspezifische Erst- und Zweitveröffentlichungen konzipiert ist.
Abschließend werden mit dem Romanistik-Blog und dem Twitter-Kanal des FID zwei Angebote präsentiert, die neben der Information über aktuelle Entwicklungen in relevanten Bereichen auch die Vernetzung innerhalb und außerhalb der Fachcommunity unterstützen.The Specialised Information Service for Romance Philology (FID), run by Hamburg State and University Library and Bonn University and State Library with funding from the German Research Foundation, offers a suite of constantly improved services for finding and accessing literature for research along with rich subject-specific information. The article highlights how the FID-projects revolving around research data management (RDM) and open access (OA) publication practices as well as its use of modern communication technology support transdiciplinary digital Romance studies.
Firstly, it will be argued that RDM following the FAIR Principles always includes a transdisciplinary perspective, followed by a swift introduction to FID services in support of FAIR RDM. Outlining the importance of consistently attributed metadata, it is suggested a broader discussion of this topic within the Romance studies community be initiated.
This is followed by a brief introduction to the extensive information regarding OA the FID provides as well as a preview of the FID’s recently established repository for OA publications from the romance community which is designed to function as central access point for freely accessible academic publications (previously published or unpublished).
The article concludes with a presentation of the FID’s own blog (Romanistik-Blog) and Twitter channel which not only supply information regarding current developments in relevant areas but also supports networking within the romance studies community and beyond

Get PDFIn diesem Beitrag wird anhand Jerusalemer Verkehrsflächennamen mit französischsprachigen Elementen erörtert, inwieweit Verkehrsflächennamen Erinnerungs-, Orientierungs- und/oder Hinweisfunktionen erfüllen können und wovon dies abhängt. Dazu wird zwischen Rezipient*innen- und Produzent*innenperspektive unterschieden, und es werden rezente Entwicklungen der Linguistic-Landscape-Forschung und der Onomastik zueinander in Bezug gesetzt.
This article deals with hodonyms in Jerusalem that include French elements. By distinguishing between top-down and bottom-up texts displayed in public spaces, and between the sometimes differing perspectives of decision makers and their advisors on the one hand, and the public on the other hand, it examines the impact of the hodonymic functions of memory, orientation and indication on Jerusalemites. In accordance with recent developments in Linguistic Landscaping, the corpus includes both photographs and interviews.

Romance (Catherine Breillat, 1999): Der Film als Ideogramm
Get PDFDer vorliegende Beitrag analysiert die Entwicklung der Figur Marie in Catherine Breillats Film Romance (1999), die sowohl aus einer kulturellen (Romanze und Pornografie), als auch einer sozialen Perspektive (männliche Dominanz) dargestellt wird. Breillats Film wird oft von (Nicht-)Feministinnen kritisiert. Die vorliegende Untersuchung möchte dieser Kritik entgegenwirken und aufzeigen, dass Romance ein System permanenter und gewalttätiger Gegensätze angreift, um die Frau von unterwürfigen und feindlichen Darstellungen (wie Pornografie und Romanze) zu befreien, die ein entfremdetes Bild von ihr entwerfen. Es soll gezeigt werden, dass Breillat mit Romance die männliche Dominanz über die Frau anprangert. Dabei, so die Argumentation, konzentriert sich die Filmemacherin auf die Darstellung der Jungfräulichkeit oder Reinheit der weiblichen Figur, um weibliche Sexualität als ein tabuisiertes Thema zu entlarven.

Often criticised by feminists as well as non-feminists, this study will show how Romance challenges dominant forms of representations of women as found in pornography and in romance. Breillat aims to denounce masculine domination as pervading pornography and romance, both of which foreground female sexuality as a taboo as well as an ‘abused’ subject, keeping women as pure and alienated beings.

José Eduardo Agualusa et sa Robinsonne Ludo
Get PDFFrom a cross-reading with Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe, we consider José Eduardo Agualusa’s novel, Teoria Geral do Esquecimento (2012), as a postmodern Robinsonade. Indeed, the author builds his character, Ludovica Fernandes Mano, as a castaway from Portuguese colonization in Angola, after the independence of the African country. She lived as a recluse for twenty-eight years in her apartment in Luanda, before getting out with the help of a young boy, Sabalu. From then on, a postcolonial reversal takes place, since this character, although he corresponds to the figure of Robinson’s Friday, is not in a subordinate position. The relationship that is established between Ludo and Sabalu is made up of mutual aid, care and reciprocal exchanges, a far cry from the unequivocal and ethnocentric relationship of Defoe’s novel.À partir d’une lecture croisée avec le Robinson Crusoe, de Daniel Defoe, nous envisageons le roman de José Eduardo Agualusa, Teoria Geral do Esquecimento (2012), comme une robinsonnade postmoderne. En effet, l’auteur construit son personnage, Ludovica Fernandes Mano, comme une naufragée de la colonisation portugaise en terres angolaises, au sortir de l’indépendance du pays africain. Elle vit recluse durant vingt-huit ans dans son appartement luandais, avant d’en sortir grâce à l’aide d’un jeune garçon, Sabalu. Dès lors, il s’opère un renversement postcolonial, puisque ce personnage, bien qu’il corresponde à la figure du Vendredi de Robinson, n’est pas dans une position subalterne. La relation qui s’établit entre Ludo et Sabalu est faite d’entraide, de sollicitude et d’échanges réciproques, bien loin donc de la relation univoque et ethnocentrée du roman de Defoe
