    Abstract: Paragraph Writing Skills Improvement of High School Students with a Technical Description of Direct Object. This study aimed to describe an increase  in learning achievement of writing a paragraph description, using the direct object  technique through a contextual ap-pro-ach to student modeling component of the class XI SMA Negeri 1 Awangpone  Bone. This rese-arch is a classroom action research). The research data is a result of field observations, learning outcomes, and observations of student behavior. Techniques of data collection is done through observation techniques, interviews, and tests. The results showed an increase in learning achie-vement in the first cycles, covered 51.61% and the second cycle covered 91.32%. Thus, the use of direct object modeling component through contextual approach helps students write descriptive paragraph Abstrak: Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Paragraf Deskripsi Siswa SMA dengan Teknik Objek Langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan prestasi belajar dalam menulis paragraf deskripsi dengan menggunakan teknik objek langsung melalui pendekatan kontekstual komponen pemodelan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Awangpone Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Data penelitian ini berupa hasil pengamatan lapangan, hasil belajar, dan observasi perilaku siswa. Teknik pengum-pulan data dilakukan melalui teknik pengamatan, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjuk-kan peningkatan prestasi belajar  pada siklus 1 mencapai  51,61% dan pada siklus 2 mencapai 91,32%. Dengan demikian, penggunaan objek langsung melalui pendekatan kontektual komponen pemodelan membantu siswa dalam menulis paragraf deskripsi. Kata kunci: menulis, paragraf deskripsi, objek langsun

    This study aimed to describe the ability to appreciate the effectiveness of the two stay two stray strategy in the learning of short stories appreciation of class X High School Students of Gunung Sari Makassar. The study was designed with artificial experiments. Sampling in this study used total sampling technique. The instruments used, namely observation and tests. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical t-test types are processed through the program SPSSX 19.     PENERAPAN MODEL RODRIGUES-BADACZEWSKI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN APRESIASI DRAMA DI SMA

    Abstract: The Application of Badaczewski Rodrigues Model in teaching Appreciation of Drama for High School Students. This study aimed (1) to analyse  the ability of drama  appre-ciation to the students of XI Class in  SMAN 5 Makassar and (2) to test the effectiveness of the Badaczewski  Rodrigues Model in teaching  drama appreciation. This research was  designed as Quasi-experimental study. The amout of population is 270 students consist of nine classes. Sam-pling is done by cluster sampling, while  data collected through testing and observation. Results showed firstly that students' learning outcomes using the model Rodrigues-Badaczewski consi-dered adequate . There are 28 students ( 93,34%)  out of 30 students of Experimental class  got score more than 7,5.  In the Control class learning outcomes are not adequately considered. Only 17 students (56,67%) got score more than 7,5. Secondly, the applications of  model-Badaczewski Rodrigues proved  effectively  in teaching drama appreciation. Statistic  test showed  that t 18,324 with a significance value (p) 0,000. Finally, it can be concluded that there were significant differ-rences between experimental classes with control classes. Abstrak: Penerapan Model Rodrigues-Badaczewski dalam Pembelajaran Apresiasi Drama di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kemampuan mengapresiasi drama siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Makassar dan (2) menguji efektivitas model Rodrigues-Badaczewski dalam pem-belajaran apresiasi drama. Penelitian didesain dengan eksprimen semu. Populasi penelitian ber-jumlah 270 orang yang terdiri atas sembilan kelas. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster sampling. Pengumpulan data  melalui tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pembelajaran apresiasi drama siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Makassar dengan model Rodrigues-Badaczewski dikategorikan memadai. Dari 30 siswa kelas eksperimen, terdapat 28 (93,34%) siswa memperoleh nilai lebih dari 7,5. Hasil pembelajaran kelas kontrol dikategorikan tidak memadai, hanya 17 (56,67%) siswa memperoleh nilai lebih dari 7,5. Kedua, model Rodrigues-Badaczewski efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran apresiasi drama.  Uji stastik menunjukkan nilai t 18,324 dengan signifikansi (p) 0,000. Dengan demikian disimpulkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksprimen dengan kelas kontrol. Kata kunci: sastra, rodrigues-badaczewski, dram

    Abstract: Improving Writing Skills Through Narrative Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition in Elementary Schools. This study aimed to describe an increase in  achievement of  elementary school  students in the  teaching of  narrative writing skills through  model of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). This study was designed as a  classroom  action research. The subject of this study were fifth grade students of SDN Klampok Sananwetan District, Kota Blitar 2011/2012  year period with the number of 26 students. The research data obtained through observation, field notes, tests, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of models of CIRC in learning writing skills can improve student achievement.     Effectiveness Field Trip methods in Improving the Descriptive Writing Ability of Elementary Pupils.     Abstract: Student Centered Learning  Through Cooperative STAD Type in the Learning of Indonesian  in Junior High School. This study aimed to implement student-centered learning through cooperative learning type STAD. The subject of this study were three schools, namely the VII class students of SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, the VIIclass  student of  SMP Negeri 3 Makassar, and the VIIclass students of SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. Method of sampling were done randomly. The research data obtained through observations and learning results test. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistical t-test. The results showed that: (1)  STAD type of cooperative learning scenarios prepared by teachers are in  accordance to the type STAD cooperative learning model, (2) increase students' motivation, (3) increasing the quality of learning, (4) the experimental study class got  high grade result, (5) the controll class got low gra-de result Abstrak: Pembelajaran Berpusat pada Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplemen-tasikan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga sekolah, yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Makassar, dan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. Penentuan sampel dila-kukan secara random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial uji-t. Hasil penelitian me-nunjukkan bahwa:  (1) skenario pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang disusun guru sudah se-suai model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, (2)  motivasi belajar siswa meningkat, (3) kuali-tas pelaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat, (4) hasil belajar kelas eksperimen tergolong tinggi, (5) hasil belajar kelas kontrol tergolong rendah.     Abstract: Effect of Regional Languages (Ciacia) Indonesian Against Childhood Development 2 to 6 Years in Holimombo Jaya. This study aims to describe the influence of the local language (Ciacia) on the development of Indonesian children aged 2 to 6 years in Holimombo Desa Jaya. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Source of the data obtained from children aged 2 to 6 years in Holimombo Desa Jaya. To that end, have several informants, the one child who was 2 years old, one child is 3 years old, one child aged 5 years and one child aged 6 years. This research data is data in the form of orally-speech utterances of children. The technique used in this study is a recording technique and technical notes. Data processing begins with editing, classification, verification, and analysis. The research results show that the language in general, children in the village Holimombo Jaya is influenced by the local languages.     Politeness in Speech Acts in Abangku Sayang" Story  Book Written by Marion. This study aims to describe the acts of speech and politeness in a book book of my beloved by Marion. The research used pragmatic approach with descriptive method. The data is sourced from my beloved childhood story book by Marion Rayhan Az Zahra published by PT Mizan Pustaka. Data analysis is done through reading, identification, categorization, descriptions, and inferences. The results revealed five types of speech acts used, including acts of representative speech, commissive speech acts, speech acts, expressive speech acts, and declarative speech acts and six types of maxim of politeness, including maxim of wisdom, maxim of generosity, maxim of praise, maxim of humility , maxim of agreement, and maxim of sympathy
